Survive the vampiric underworld with the text walkthrough to Dark, Kalypso’s stealth-action RPG putting you in the shoes of a stealthy bloodsucker. Avoid trial-and-error with step-by-step instructions to get around every patrol alive. Get our tips on how to use each of the dark powers you’ll unlock as the game progresses, and master life as one of the undead with our advice.
Not that there aren’t a few perks to being dead. In Dark, you’ll have special vision to sniff out prey and drink their blood to recover health. If enemies are too tricky, you can dominate their will, or use Shadow Leap (think Blink in Dishonored) to flank them. There are plenty of powers to play with, so check out the guide for our power recommendations.

Mission 1: The Sanctuary
After the opening cut scene, follow the on-screen prompts to descend the stairwell in front of you and watch your character take a quick breather.
Continue down the steps to make a left into the bathroom at the bottom and activate another cut scene, then exit the area to make your way back up the previous stairwell and turn right at the top to pass through a neon-lit hallway.
Approach the bouncers at the end of the hall to activate a cut scene, then move back through the previous corridor to enter the club area and approach the bar on the opposite side of the room t6o converse with the strange woman.
Climb the right-side staircase in front of you to reach the club’s second floor and pass through the open doorway at the top to speak with the man leaning against the wall, then follow him out of the room and up the previous stairwell to activate a cut scene.
During the conversation, ask the question: “Full-fledged vampire?” to continue and finish the cut scene, then exit Rose’s office to return to the club area and speak with April at the bar to learn about all of the available topics.
Speak with Tom on the second floor to learn more information, then choose “Tutorial” to play out a scenario in the outside alleyways that will teach you basic combat maneuvers and the specifics of your vampire abilities.
After completing the tutorial and selecting “Vitae” from the Power menu, return to Rose’s office to tell her you’re “Ready” and choose a difficulty setting to complete this mission.
Mission 2: The Museum
Crouch down to cross the bridge in front of the van beside you and eliminate the first guard from behind to feed, then approach the next enemy in the distance towards the right to activate a tutorial sequence.
Afterwards, sneak past the guard to climb the next set of steps ahead and wait for the enemy at the top to turn back around before executing a Shadow Leap to eliminate him suddenly.
Use Shadow Leap again to feed on the guard you previously snuck past at the bottom of the steps and make your way back up the stairs to proceed towards the building on the left, then approach the next pair of enemies to activate a cut scene.
Remain crouched to wait for the first guard to turn and face the top of the step ahead. then eliminate him from behind and drag his body down the stairs to avoid being detected.
Wait for the next guard around the corner to return and walk away from you again, then use Shadow Leap to eliminate him and pass through the broken glass beside you to move past the staircase on the other side.
Approach the next guard around the corner to eliminate him from behind and pass through the archway ahead to climb the stairs on the other side, then continue your ascent to reach the floor at the top and disable another enemy to activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, return to the ground floor and climb the stairs next to the broken glass where you first entered the building.
Move into the first office on the left at the top of the steps and cross to the opposite side of the room to acquire the books from the shelf corner, then use Vampire Vision to track the movements of the guard that descends from the level above and remain hidden in this room to avoid detection.
Wait for the guard to pass by outside the office and eliminate him from behind, then ascend the next staircase to enter the room at the top and take out another enemy waiting inside.
Enter the next room in the corner to approach the red laser grid around the corner and wait for the door behind it to open, then proceed onto the walkway ahead to eliminate the enemy on the left and activate Vampire Vision to scan the area for more threats.
Proceed towards the left around the walkway to spot the guard on the opposite side of the room from you and stay crouched to eliminate him from behind, then make your way back towards the steps to hide behind the column beside them and wait for the enemy patrolling below to turn around.
Purchase and upgrade Shadow Grip to make it a silent killing maneuver, then use it to pick off the guard below before he reaches the next staircase around the corner.
Descend the next two sets of steps to stop beside the column on the left and wait for the guard on the other side of it to turn around so you can assassinate him, then cross to the opposite side of the room to eliminate another enemy from behind as he moves down the stairs in the corner.
Use Shadow Grip to eliminate any guards that approach from below and purchase Obfuscation from the power menu, then use it to quickly descend to the ground and make a quick right turn to avoid being detected.
Move through the indicated set of double-doors to proceed through the hallway on the other side and make the first right turn ahead to hide behind the crate against the wall, then activate Vampire Vision to anticipate the movements of the guards around the corner and wait for the nearest one to turn his back to feed on him.
Open the next door around the corner to activate a short sequence, then move left across the landing to use the display cases as cover and eliminate the nearest guard ahead as he checks the panel on the wall.
Make your way down the next staircase to eliminate the guard at the bottom with Shadow Grip and move behind the display cases on the right to avoid detection, then activate Vampire Vision to track the remaining enemies in the room and use Shadow Leap to take out the one that moves closest to you.
Proceed forward along the right-side wall to enter the room at the end and make a left inside to track the next group of enemies with Vampire Vision, then return to the main area slowly and approach the closest patrolling guard to eliminate him with Shadow Grip.
Continue using the display cases as cover to eliminate the remaining guards in the area by feeding on them or executing Shadow Grip, then pass through the indicated hallway in the corner to enter the room at the end and activate a short sequence.
Continue following the series of corridor around to pass through the doors at the end and activate another cut scene, then move left past the top of the steps beside you to follow the walkway around and approach the pair of guards on the bridge against the wall.
Wait for both guards to turn their backs, then eliminate the closest enemy from behind and take out the other one with Shadow Grip to proceed forward across the bridge.
Descend to the ground floor to climb the stone steps at the bottom and make a left at the top of the castle wall to reach the next walkway, then use Shadow Grip to eliminate the pair of guards ahead and proceed forward to take cover behind the column at the next corner.
Eliminate the next guard ahead after he turns his back and duck into the area on the left to hide from the next pair of enemies that pass by, then descend the staircases behind you to eliminate the hostiles below with Shadow Grip and reach the ground floor.
Activate Vampire Vision to continue tracking the enemies’ movements and hide behind one of the nearby display cases to eliminate the next one that moves within range of you, then move out into the main area to take cover behind one of the columns on the right and use Shadow Grip to quickly dispense of the two nearest guards.
Wait for any of the remaining guards to approach your position behind the column so you can eliminate them at close range and use Shadow Leap to finish clearing the room, then enter the indicated corridor on the right to pass through it and ride the elevator at the end to reach the basement.
Exit the elevator to spot the Ghouls in the area below and move down the ramp on your right to eliminate the enemy at the bottom from behind, then use Shadow grip to take out the next two closest guards and take cover behind one of the nearby display cases.
Move between the various cover points to locate the remaining guards in the area and eliminate them with your shadow abilities, then feed off the last one to regain any lost health and defeat the ghouls last before exiting through the back right corner of the room.
Proceed through the underground tunnel to reach the open area at the end and climb the steps ahead to activate a cut scene, then stay ducked behind the crate to avoid the approaching guard and use Shadow Grip to eliminate him.
Feed on the remaining guard in the room to encounter the next wave of enemies and hide in the shadows to scan the area with Vampire Vision, then use Shadow Grip to eliminate the first two hostiles that climb the steps and sprint down the stairs to feed on any that remain.
Pass through the next open doorway on the left to activate a cut scene, then climb the staircase in front of you to take cover behind the crate at the top and eliminate the enemies around the corner with a shadow ability.
Enter the next room to encounter the boss again and remain behind cover to avoid his gunfire, then move around the crates on the right to approach the open doorway ahead and pass through it to activate another sequence.
Afterwards, enter the room ahead to eliminate the next ghoul with Shadow Grip and move left around the large stack of crates to ambush the guards on the other side.
Continue into the next room in the corner to feed on the guard waiting inside and climb the nearby stairs to proceed forward at the top, then pass through the open doorway ahead to activate another sequence.
Afterwards, descend the steps beside you to Shadow Leap at the guard on the right at the bottom and return to the steps to eliminate the enemy around the corner with a Shadow Grip maneuver.
Upgrade your toughness in the power menu, if you haven’t already, then charge towards Blooming to feed on him and complete the mission.
Mission 3: Geoforge Tower Offices
Return to Rose’s office to activate a cut scene, then make your way back into the club area to speak with Tom at the bar and travel with him to the second floor.
Ask Tom all of the available questions to learn new information, then speak with April at the bar on the ground floor and repeat the same interrogation process.
Head back to Rose’s office to activate another cut scene and choose “Ready” to start the next mission, then use Vampire Vision to locate the guards in the room and creep towards your left to approach the nearest one by the wall.
Eliminate the guard silently and drag his body behind the display case on the left, then move right towards the center of the room and use the columns as cover to avoid being seen.
Move forward towards the guard standing between the two green neon signs ahead and eliminate him with a silent takedown, then approach the enemy patrolling on your left to incapacitate him in the same way and quickly turn around to execute a Shadow Grip before you are detected by another hostile.
Creep around the left side of the wall in front of the two green neon signs from before and eliminate the guard at the opposite end from behind, then quickly turn around to take out another hostile at the top of the steps with a Shadow Grip and climb the stairs to turn left again at the top.
Wait for the guard ahead to stop at the top of the steps and feed on him from behind, then move back towards the opposite side of the landing and use Vampire vision to track the movements of the enemies above.
Once the guard at the top of the steps has turned away, climb the stairs to take cover behind the nearest planter and use Obfuscation to slip into the shadows against the wall on your right without being detected.
Use the planters on the left as cover to approach the guards patrolling in front of the wall ahead and wait for them to walk away after having a conversation, then pass through the indicated open doorway to navigate the next corridor and eliminate the enemy by the vending machine at the end from behind.
Drag the guard’s body backwards into cover and crouch down behind the wall on the left to avoid being seen by the enemy approaching from ahead, then wait for him to walk away and use Obfuscation to enter the maze of desks on the left side of the room without raising an alarm.
Move forward across the room by using the desks as cover and pass the through the open doorway on the left to enter the next room, then turn right to approach the indicated server against the wall and activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, use Obfuscation to help you return to the previous corridor undetected and experience another fit of pain while proceeding forward through it.
Exit out the other end of the hallway after the guards outside have walked away again and turn right to follow behind them, then eliminate the enemy on your left with Shadow grip and continue moving forward to enter the open elevator.
Wait for the elevator to reach the next available floor and exit the car to turn left around the corner beside you, then approach the indicated door ahead to activate a short cut-scene after realizing its locked.
Afterwards, turn around to hide behind the planters ahead on the right and wait for the approaching guard to turn the corner in front of you before feeding on him.
Approach the next indicated doorway in the corner to hide behind the planter beside it and listen to the guards conversation in the next room ahead, then wait for them to pass by heading towards the left and slip past them to make a right going in the opposite direction.
Open the indicated door in the corner to enter the room on the other side and take cover behind the cubicle immediately ahead on the left, then eliminate the guard who passes beside you and head back towards the right to climb the staircase around the corner.
Make a right at the top of the steps to hide behind the cubicles in the upper corner of the landing and wait for the next guard to enter the near vicinity, then eliminate him and drag his body into the shadows.
Turn left from the top of the staircase to feed on another guard around the corner and enter the billiard room on the left to use the table as cover, then wait for another enemy to stop in front of the railing outside the open doorway and take him out with a Shadow Grip.
Pass through the next indicated door in the corner to make a left on the other side and enter the room labeled “Administration” , then duck behind the cubicles on the right to slip past the guards with their turned ahead by continuing in the same direction and pick up the access card from the table by the far wall.
Head back the way you came to see the alarm start flashing in the previous area and move through the indicated door in the corner to activate a cut scene, then use the wall ahead on the right as cover to watch the guard across the landing ascend the steps and follow him into the next room to feed on his body.
Take cover beside the top of the stairs outside the room and use Vampire Vision to track the guard patrolling below until he passes directly beneath you, then use Shadow Leap to land on the ground floor next to the cubicles and turn around to eliminate the enemy from behind.
Drag the guard’s body into the adjacent room and take cover beside the doorway until another enemy walks into range outside, then take him out with Shadow Grip and hide that corpse as well to remain undetected.
Move forward along the right side of the cubicle area to eliminate one or both guards ahead with Shadow Grip, then cross to the opposite end of the room to pass through the door on the right and make another right turn to locate the indicated elevator.
Enter the next available room on the left to move forward across it and take cover beside the corner of the wall ahead to track the nearby guards movements, then wait for him to turn his back and Shadow Leap behind the desk located in front of the Geoforge sign.
Wait for the guard to pass by in front of you to eliminate him from behind and hide his body behind the desk, then wait for the enemy guarding the indicated door to walk away from it and use the planter beside him as cover to move in closer.
Eliminate the guard with Shadow Kill to hide his body in the shadows nearby, then pass through the indicated door to climb the stairwell on the other side and reach the next floor above to complete this part of the mission.
Mission 3: Geoforge Tower Gardens
Move forward to the guard on the other side of the green neon sign ahead and wait for him to walk away before feeding on his body, then make your way down the adjacent set of steps to turn right at the bottom and eliminate the approaching enemy with Shadow Grip.
Proceed forward down the dirt trail to approach the next enemy around the corner from behind and feed on him as he walks away in the opposite direction, then move up the hill on your right to pass through the line of shrubs above on the left and eliminate the next enemy patrolling below.
Hide the body in the shadows to climb the small set of steps behind you and proceed forward at the top to pass through another line of bushes, then drop into the area below on the left to eliminate the next guard ahead with Shadow Grip and crouch beside the bottom of the steps on the right to track the enemy movements above.
Wait for the guard above to turn his back towards you and climb the steps to eliminate both of the nearby enemies from behind, then ascend the staircase on the left to activate a cut scene at the top.
Afterwards, make your way back down the previous staircase to move beneath it and deactivate the fusebox to disable the UV lights above.
Return to the deactivated tunnel of UV light above to pass through it safely and eliminate the next guard in the distance ahead with Shadow Grip, then climb the second staircase on the left to turn left again at the top and take down another patrolling enemy as he turns away from you.
Continue forward across the catwalk to follow behind the next guard in the distance and feed on his body, then climb the stairs at the end on the right to eliminate the enemy at the top with Shadow Grip and enter the elevator ahead on the left to reach the floor above.
Exit the elevator car to move forward through the penthouse ahead and approach the open coffin in the corner to speak with Rose again, then turn around to climb the staircase across from you and enter the library at the top.
Interact with the bust to open the secret door in the bookcase and activate a cut scene, then exit the library to take cover behind the column outside and use Vampire Vision to track the enemy locations on the floor below.
Wait for one of the guards below to climb the stairs, then return to the library and feed on his body when he enters the room.
Make your way back down the staircase outside to eliminate the enemy behind you at the bottom and use the column nearby as cover to track the remaining two guards in the room, then wait for them to separate and re-enter the elevator ahead on the right to reach next the floor.
Exit the elevator car to activate a cut scene, then proceed forward across the catwalk to eliminate the enemy in the distance ahead with Shadow Grip and make a right from the body to approach the top of the next staircase ahead.
Wait for the guards at the bottom of the steps to walkway, then descend the stairs to turn left across the catwalk below and make the first available right to head down another staircase.
Eliminate the guard below from behind and quickly turn right to take out another enemy nearby, then proceed forward past the body to by using the crates ahead as cover and sneak up on a third hostile against the railing to feed on his body.
Continue forward around the corner ahead to eliminate another enemy and descend the next staircase to approach the pair of guards on the right at the bottom, then hide in the bushes above them and wait for them to separate to pick off the one left behind.
Take out the guard at the bottom of the steps on your left and climb up the hill beside you to hide in another line of bushes, then eliminate the next enemy that walks by below and follow the trail on the left to take cover at the entrance to the fenced-in area.
Wait for the guard to turn his back before you enter the fenced-in area and activate the next cut scene, then eliminate the enemy from behind and exit back onto the previous trail.
Follow the trail around the edge of the gardens to climb the next staircase and eliminate the ghouls at the top with Shadow Grip, then pass through the open doors beside you to enter the elevator inside and activate the Boss Fight.
Exit the elevator car to proceed into the open area ahead and activate a cut scene, then move quickly around the corner on your right to enter the next enclosure and descend the adjacent staircase.
Move forward beneath the steps ahead on the right to approach the next objective marker in front of you and pass through the thick foliage to eliminate the nearby ghoul from behind, then smash the indicated fusebox to deactivate the UV lights and head towards the current objective marker by using the surrounding trees as cover.
Stay hidden in the bushes and use Vampire Vision continuously to tracy the patrolling guards, then eliminate them from behind or with Shadow Grip to proceed towards the current objective marker and climb the stairs on the left in the corner ahead.
Enter the UV tunnel on the left at the top of the steps to eliminate the guard inside and turn the corner ahead to hide behind the stack of boxes against the railing, then activate Vampire Vision to locate the invisible enemy at the top of the next staircase and move in closer to him using Shadow Leap.
Wait for the enemy above to look away so that you can move left in front of the staircase and use Shadow Kill to eliminate the guard below on the right, then quickly drag the body down the steps nearby and finish descending to reach the second floor.
Turn right to take cover against the wall and eliminate the next guard who passes beside you, then proceed forward around the corner ahead to smash the indicated fusebox and disable another series of UV lights.
Use Shadow Grip to disable the next pair of guards and descend the staircase ahead to make a right at the bottom, then Shadow Leap behind the approaching enemy to feed on him and continue towards the current objective marker to climb the large set of steps in front of you.
Make a right at the top of the steps to descend back to the garden level below and enter the corridor in the left corner ahead to climb the stairs around the next corner, then navigate the catwalk to circle the nearby structure and smash the indicated fusebox.
Head back the ay you came to climb the staircase on the left and stay low against the railing to avoid Vlad’s targeting laser beaming from above, then use Shadow Kill to ascend onto the catwalk beside the boss and creep towards him so that he suddenly disappears.
Approach nearest wall on the left to move forward along it and locate Vlad’s current position, then turn back around to see him reappear and feed on the boss from behind to complete this mission.
Mission 4: Atlantis
Make your way back up to Rose’s office to speak with Tom and ask all the available questions to gain new information, then speak with the girl in the club’s DJ booth to interrogate her as well and acquire the Club ID card.
Speak with April behind the bar on the ground floor and ask her about Steiner, then return to Rose’s Office to have a conversation with her on the available subjects and choose “Ready” to start the next mission.
Following the next cut scene, make your way forward through the crowded room ahead and use the surrounding columns as cover to avoid being detected by the guards.
Wait for the laser scanner above the doorway across the room to turn right and approach the left side wall to move around it, then move back towards the doorway to take cover beside it and wait for the enemy standing guard to walk away.
Once the scanning laser is turned left, move beneath the right side of it to pass through the doorway and slip past the guard on the other side to approach the top of the steps.
Hide behind the wall on the right to avoid detection from both guards and wait for the one at the bottom of the steps to walk away, then pass through the doorway below to activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, move forward around the right side of the bar by staying low to avoid the guards and crouch in front of the white couch beside them.
Duck behind the couch against the wall across from you and stay there until the guard walks past to plant the bomb in the indicated trashcan without being seen, then ascend the nearest staircase on the left to move around the right side of the slot machines and plant a second bomb in another receptacle.
Head back the way you came to move around the left side of the top of the staircase and stay low to avoid being seen, then approach the laser scanner ahead to wait for it to rotate left and slip past it on the right to plant a bomb in the third trashcan.
Move back in front of the green laser scanner from before to hide behind the craps table to the left of it and wait for the beam to rotate towards the right, then climb the staircase ahead to approach the current objective marker at the top and pass through the indicated doors to activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, exit the circular room to make a left around the circular catwalk outside and eliminate the next guard behind the structure from behind.
Wait for the nearby laser scanner to rotate left so you can slip past it onto the catwalk on the right and proceed forward across it to sneak up behind another guard, then continue making your way around the outer landing to descend the steps at the end and use the craps table at the bottom as cover again.
Shadow Leap along the right side wall to reach the current objective marker ahead and pass through the indicated doorway to enter a darkened corridor, then slip past the right side of the next green laser scanner and turn the corner to continue down the hallway in front of you.
Wait for the next guard to pass in front of you to feed on him from behind and slip past the left side of the nearby laser scanner to continue in the direction of the current objective marker, then use the white stone railing ahead as cover to hide from the enemy patrolling nearby and eliminate him with Shadow Grip.
Drag the body into one of the nearby office spaces and navigate through the metal detector on the right to feed on the next enemy around the corner, then pass through the indicated set of doors to activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, move through the open doorway directly to your left and slip past the right side of the laser scanner inside once it rotates towards the back end of the hallway.
Use Obfuscation to pass through the open doorway ahead on the right unseen and move beneath the laser scanner outside to reach the backstage area using the entrance on the left, then feed on the nearby guard to eliminate the next one that enters the room with Shadow Grip and approach the right side of the staircase in the corner to Shadow Leap onto the balcony directly above.
Interact with the computer to open the door in the other room and descend back to the ground floor to exit the backstage area, then approach the current objective marker to encounter a new creature and travel back along the same route you used before.
Activate Obfuscation to pass through the indicated open doorway without being seen and navigate the next corridor to enter the room at the end, then move down the ramp in front of you by staying low against the railing and feed on the nearby guard from behind.
Proceed into the warehouse area ahead to pass through the opening in the shelves on the right and move forward along the wall to eliminate the next guard, then turn left towards the current objective marker to take out another enemy with Shadow Kill and ascend the ramp in front of you to enter the corridor at the top.
Navigate the hallway to experience another flash of pain and proceed forward through the door at the end to activate a cut scene, then feed on the next approaching guard as he passes by to along the wall to the left of the ramp and look down over the railing to Shadow Leap to the floor below.
Continue forward along the wall to stop beside the stack of crates ahead and wait for the guard on the right to walk past before feeding on him, then hide the body and eliminate the other enemy patrolling nearby using Shadow Kill.
Make your way towards the current objective marker by staying to the left of the crates ahead and use Shadow Kill to eliminate the nearest ghoul on the right, then feed on the remaining two creatures from behind an ascend the steps to open the indicated door at the top.
Turn the corner in the next corridor to enter the security center at the end and stay behind cover until the guard approaches in front of you from the right, then eliminate him with Shadow Kill to proceed through the room on the right and exit out the other end once the enemy looking in walks away.
Use Shadow Kill to eliminate the guard beside the objective marker in the distance and pass through the next two indicated doors to converse with Steiner, then choose “I’m Good”, “I Need Your Blood”, “I Have Information”, “I Have Nothing to Offer” and I’ll Let You Live” to compete this mission.
Mission 5: The Hole
Move through the alley to approach the current objective marker and activate a cut scene, then head forward towards the guard on the right as he turns away and feed on him from behind.
Head back across the alley to hide behind the large red shipping container and sneak up on the enemy towards the left, then move right along the wall to turn at the corner and use Obfuscation to pass by the guard above without being seen.
Proceed through the alleyway on the left to continue in the direction of the current objective marker and locate the red-lit sensors in the next open area, then hide behind the crates on the right to eliminate the guard that passes in front of you and Shadow Leap to crouch beside the column where the sensor is located.
Wait for the next guard ahead to walk towards the wall on the left and feed on him from behind, then continue forward along the side of the red shipping container to stop at the end and transfer to the grey containers when the coast is clear.
After the nearby enemy walks towards the left, eliminate him from behind and approach the green laser scanner around the corner to take cover at the small barricade in front of it.
Slip beneath the left side of the green laser scanner to eliminate the enemy behind it with Shadow Kill and sneak up on the other guard to feed on him, then pass through the indicated doorway to encounter the ghouls.
Proceed forward to exit out the other end of the hallway and activate a cut scene, then make your way up the incline ahead to creep into the projection room at the top and kill the ghoul inside.
Make a right out of the projection boost to approach the next staircase and activate a cut scene, then look down over the left side of the top step to spot the enemy patrolling below and eliminate him with Shadow Kill to land on the ground floor.
Turn around to take cover against the wall on the right and eliminate the next nearby enemy, then pass through the indicated doorway behind you to activate another cut scene.
Afterwards, wait for the guard approaching from ahead to turn left and use Shadow Leap to land behind the green dumpster in the distance.
Shadow Leap behind the pile of crates and tires against the wall in front of you, then wait for the enemies by the UV light to separate and eliminate the one walking away with Shadow Kill to enter the next alleyway in the corner.
Continue moving in the direction of the current objective marker to eliminate the next two guards from behind and drag the bodies into the shadows to avoid detection, then use the small barricade at the alleyway’s exit as cover to take out the first enemy that approaches and quickly hide his corpse.
Move out from the small barricade to use the three planters directly on your left as cover and stay towards the bottom to target the enemy guarding the alleyway entrance behind you, then eliminate him with a Shadow Kill to quickly hide the corpse and approach the opposite side of the nearby shipping container to feed on another guard.
Use Shadow Leap to return to the three plants before you are caught and move towards the top of them to teleport behind the dumpster in the alley above, then activate Obfuscation to move left out into the open area and take cover behind the planters at its center without tripping the sensors.
Eliminate the nearest guard that walks by and continue forward along the planters to cross to the opposite side of the area, then turn left to slip through the indicated doorway above and feed on another enemy inside to descend the stairs he was protecting.
Look down over the railing to eliminate the guard at the bottom of the steps with Shadow Kill and without triggering the sensor, then pass through the corridor on the right to experience another flash of pain and enter the elevator ahead to reach the next floor below.
Exit the elevator car to turn the next corner ahead and approach the broken stairwell towards the left to Shadow Leap onto the first landing above, then teleport again to reach the second level and pass through the open doorway to discover the twin’s body down a familiar corridor on the right.
Return to the previous stairwell to teleport up to Rose’s office and enter it activate a cut scene, then move left to Shadow Leap onto the second floor of the club and descend to the bottom of the adjacent set of steps.
Eliminate the guard on the right from behind to quickly drag the body into the nearby booth and use Vampire Vision to continue scouting the area, then move out from behind the right corner of the booth to ascend the next closest staircase and turn left to take out the enemy at the top.
Make your way back to the bottom of the previous staircase to track the heavily-armored enemy equipped with a mini-gun and take cover behind the containers ahead on the right, then wait for him to turn around and approach at close-range to remove the device on his back.
Turn around to climb back up the staircase on the right and enter the DJ booth to look down over the railing, then wait until the pair of smaller guards have moved towards the right side of the club and take cover beside the top of the steps to eliminate the next one that ascends.
Take cover at the bottom of the staircase to wait for the heavily-armored guard to turn his back, then sneak up behind him to remove the other device and complete this mission.
Mission 6: Cryogenic
Move left behind the planters to reach the far wall and proceed forward along it to pass by the guards on the right undetected, then turn the corner ahead to climb the next stair case using Shadow Leap and take cover at the top to avoid the approaching enemies.
Look left to Shadow Leap beside the railing in the distance and move around behind the next sign beside you to eliminate the guard nearby, then enter the garden balcony beside the stairs to teleport onto the railing to your left and proceed forward onto the next landing.
Move forward to the columns in front of the giant chessboard and move right to approach the next staircase in the corner, then Shadow Leap onto the garden ledge above the steps and turn right again to eliminate the enemy above with Shadow Kill.
Climb the steps behind you to enter the building and make a right across the second floor to descend the second staircase on the left, then proceed towards the objective marker at the bottom to reach the indicated elevator and activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, make your way up the staircase ahead on the left to eliminate the enemy at the top with Shadow Grip and proceed forward as the next guard walks away to feed on him from behind.
Hide the body behind one of the nearby desks and stay crouched down until the guard ahead walks away, then eliminate him with Shadow Kill to continue moving in the direction of the current objective marker and slip beneath the left side of the next green scanning laser.
Eliminate the enemy ahead with Shadow Kill and quickly hide the body behind one of the nearby tables, then take cover in front of the next staircase’s railing to wait for the guard around the corner to walk away and descend the steps to reach the floor below.
Use your shadow abilities to eliminate every guard in the surrounding lobby areas and feed on stragglers to regenerate Vitae without being detected, then Shadow Leap to take cover at the front desk and move around the left side of it to approach the current objective marker.
Wait for the heavily-armed guard protecting the front desk area to walk away and sneak up behind him to remove one of the devices on his back, then quickly retreat to the previous cover until the UV blast disappears and repeat the same action to kill this enemy.
Interact with the indicated computer to open a set of elevator doors and sprint towards the next objective marker that appears to pass through them, then ride to the floor above to experience a flash of pain and exit the car to use another computer ahead.
Following the next short sequence, take cover at the corner on your left and wait for a guard to walk out into the hall to kill him with Shadow Grip.
Slip beneath the left side of the next green laser scanner and turn the corner to Shadow Leap behind the column ahead in the distance, then leap again through the indicated open doorway and proceed through the corridor to approach the current objective marker.
After realizing the door is locked, turn around to return to the previous room and use Shadow Leap to move safely past the UV light by the exit.
Cross to the opposite side of the room to make a left at the wall and eliminate the enemy in the distant corner with Shadow Kill, then turn around to take out the next approaching guard with Shadow Grip and approach the bottom of the nearest staircase to incapacitate the hostile at the top with another Shadow Kill.
Pass through the indicated doorway on the right to enter a new corridor and navigate the corners ahead to open the door at the end, then take cover against the left side of the wall in front of you to wait for a guard to circle around from behind and eliminate him with Shadow Kill.
Feed on the other guard in this area and cross through the adjacent boardroom to approach the next pair of enemies, then eliminate them both from behind to safely collect the indicated key ring from the desk and use the current objective markers to travel back to the previously locked door.
Unlock the indicated door to enter the warehouse and sneak up on the first enemy ahead on the right to eliminate him from behind, then hide the body to watch another guard pass by along the opposite wall and approach his position for another kill.
Hide to the left of the boxes beside the next green laser scanner ahead and wait for a guard to enter the room, then eliminate him from behind and quickly dispose of the body.
Look through the open doorway to watch the guard against the wall on the other side and wait for him to walk away before slipping beneath the left side of the green laser scanner, then move between the stacks of crates on the left in the new room and take cover in the corner before reaching the next two enemies on patrol.
Wait for a guard to walk past you on the right to eliminate him from behind and hide the body to cross to the previous side of the room, then take out the enemy beneath the green laser scanner on the left with Shadow Grip and turn back around towards the current objective marker to kill the hostile protecting the open doorway in the corner with another Shadow Grip.
Take cover beside the open doorway to eliminate the guard facing you on the other side with Shadow Grip and enter the next room to Shadow Leap against the first lab table ahead on the right, then proceed forward along it to take out the enemy protecting the indicated door with Shadow Kill and turn around to feed on the remaining hostile in this area.
Exit the room through the indicated doorway to access the lab at the end of the corridor and eliminate the nearest enemy inside from behind, then take cover behind the tables to defeat the next approaching guard that turns around in front of you and crouch down beside the work station to the left of the green scanning laser to incapacitate the hostile on the other side of the doorway with Shadow Grip.
Slip past the left side of the green scanning laser to enter the next room ahead and take out the closest enemy with Shadow Grip to proceed forward, then continue using shadow abilities to clear the area without being detected and pass through the indicated doorway to eliminate the guard on the left from behind.
Move beneath the right side of the next green scanning laser ahead to pass through the indicated door and proceed forward to experience a flash of pain, then continue towards the current objective marker to enter the room filled with cryo tanks and proceed into the area around the corner to complete this mission.
Mission 7: Rescue Tom
Following the cut scene, exit the room to stun the first guard on the right with Domination and feed on his body to regenerate Vitae.
Move through the next indicated door to navigate the hallway ahead and feed on another guard around the corner from behind, then exit the corridor to take cover in a new room and activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, eliminate the guard that approaches on your right with Shadow Grip and move towards his body to quickly feed on the guard protecting the doorway around the corner.
Pass through the doors to enter the next room and use the stack of containers ahead on the right as cover, then wait for the enemy guarding the staircase to walk away towards the left and move in closer to eliminate him with Shadow Grip.
Head left across the room to eliminate the remaining guards with your shadow abilities from behind cover and feed on one while his back is turned to regenerate Vitae, then climb the staircase in the corner to eliminate the hostiles at the top with Shadow Grip and check the indicated set of doors to receive a new objective.
Return to the floor below to approach the current objective marker ahead and use Domination on the first enemy to feed on him, then interact with the computer to reactivate the doors and make your way back to them to encounter a new pair of guards.
Make your way back down the steps to approach the other staircase on the opposite side of the room and take cover at the bottom to wait for a guard to appear above, then eliminate him with Shadow Grip and ascend to the second floor to defeat the second enemy with Shadow Kill.
Use the elevator to reach the next available floor and exit the car to activate a cut scene, then pass through the door on the right to take cover beside it and eliminate the guard approaching from the left with Shadow Grip.
Head back through the previous control room to exit out the opposite doorway and take cover behind the servers across from you, then eliminate the nearest guard ahead with Shadow Grip and feed on the second enemy that approaches from the right.
Proceed forward across the room by Shadow Leaping between the three columns ahead on the left and take amongst the crate stacks behind the guard protecting the staircase in the corner, then wait for him to move towards the right and feed on him to regenerate Vitae.
Approach the bottom of the staircase to Shadow Leap up it past the sensor and continue ascending the steps to make a left across the outer balcony, then eliminate the guard ahead from behind and turn around to take out the enemy located inside the control room.
Pass through the open doorway nearby to continue towards the current objective marker and descend the next stairwell to activate a cut scene at the bottom, then feed on the enemy directly in front of you and drag his body away to take cover before the approaching squad of guards reaches your position.
Wait for the guards to split up and follow the nearest one ahead to feed on him from behind, then use shadow abilities to finish clearing the room and slip beneath the green laser scanner above the unlocked door to enter a new area on the other side.
Exit the room to approach the next objective marker and pass beneath another green scanner to open the door, then use Shadow Leap to get by the sensor and approach the table on the right to speak with Rose.
Use Shadow Leap to exit the room and pass through the next set of indicated doors to interact with the computer on the other side, then return to the previous area to approach the current objective marker and active a second computer to speak with Rose again.
Return to the previous area to pass through the open doors on the right and turn right again to enter the next corridor, then feed on the first guard ahead to continue navigating the hallway and climb the steps at the end to pass through another set of doors at the top.
Take cover behind the crate on your right to activate the next cut scene, then move left to feed on the closest guard and sneak up on the one beside him for another kill.
Eliminate the next guard in the distance with Shadow Grip and continue around the corner ahead to feed on another enemy from behind, then proceed towards the current objective marker to Shadow Leap through the indicated doors and use the computer on the other side to activate another cut scene.
Afterwards, exit the room to approach the top of the staircase and use Shadow leap to land behind the column beside the bottom of the steps.
Shadow leap into Tom’s cell to activate a cut scene, then exit the room to teleport back onto the second floor above and approach the current objective marker by eliminating ghouls along the way.
Pass through the indicated doorway to speak with Rose and navigate the corridor ahead to enter the room at the end, then climb the large set of steps in front of you to complete this mission.
Mission 8: Ascension
After the cut scene, Shadow Leap to the far wall on the right to move forward along it and use the containers beside you to take cover when necessary.
Quickly pass through the next open doorway on the right to continue in the direction of the current objective marker and wait inside until a patrolling enemy turns his back on the entrance, then feed on him from behind to regenerate Vitae and drag the body backwards to hide it.
Exit the room to take cover behind the containers directly ahead on the left and look towards the enemy at the top of the stairs on the right to eliminate him with Shadow Grip, then climb the steps to turn left at the top and incapacitate another guard.
Descend halfway down the right side staircase to approach the two guard waiting below and eliminate the one further towards the back with Shadow Grip, then feed on the other enemy to regenerate Vitae and turn the right corner in front of you to follow the next patrolling hostile through the doorway ahead.
Feed on the guard upon entering the next room and turn the corner ahead to cross to the opposite side of the area, then slip beneath the right side of the laser to pass through the doorway on the left and take cover inside immediately to avoid being seen.
Dominate the enemy around the corner to feed on him and exit through the next doorway ahead to reach a new room, then take cover at the last desk on the right to eliminate the guard in front of you with Shadow Grip and turn left beneath the right side of the laser scanner to enter the area behind it.
Use the computer indicated by Rose to unlock a door in another location and exit the room to kill the closest guard outside with Shadow Grip, then travel back towards the current objective marker to reach a pair of enemies protecting the entrance to the next area and Shadow Leap behind them to land on the staircase to the left.
Take cover behind the containers in front of the stairs and use Shadow Leap again to pass through the indicated doorway, then descend the next stairwell to kill the guard in the room at the bottom and exit via the door in the corner to activate activate a short cut scene.
Afterwards. look up towards the guard on the right end of the catwalk above to kill him with Shadow Grip and wait for a patrolling enemy to approach you on the right to feed on his body.
Find cover amongst the cafeteria tables at the center of the room and wait for the guard patrolling through the middle of them to walk by so you can eliminate him from behind, then do the same to the next closest enemy moving along the left side of this area and climb the staircase against the wall to incapacitate the hostile at the top with Shadow Grip.
Turn the corner ahead to pass by the next green laser scanner using Shadow Leap and take cover on the opposite end of the room to eliminate the first guard that approaches, then remove the remaining enemy with Shadow Grip to pass through the door he was protecting and ascend the stairwell on the other side to enter the elevator at the top.
Exit the elevator car to activate a cut scene, then pass through the open doorway on the right to move forward along the outside wall and take cover behind the barrels on the left to watch the next pair of enemies approach your location.
Wait for the pair of guards to separate so you can kill the one on the right with Shadow Grip and approach the one on the left at close-range to feed on him, then proceed forward towards the current objective marker to climb the staircase in the corner ahead and enter the structure at the top to eliminate the two enemies inside with Shadow Kill.
Following the next cut scene, exit the room to Shadow Leap down onto the left side of the ground floor below and sprint towards the current objective marker to activate the last boss fight.
Keep a line of sight on the monster at all times as it jumps across the tops of the surrounding columns and wait for it to suddenly stop, then sprint sideways out of the red circle that appears on the floor around you to avoid the creature’s oncoming attack.
Repeat the step above until Rose is able to unlock the terminal, then use the indicated computer nearby to disorient the boss with sound and quickly sprint away from the monitor before the creature lunges towards you again.
Use the same tactics as before to dodge the boss attacking from above and access the next available computer to hit him with another sound blast, then run in a continuous circle around the enclosed area to dodge the creature’s repeated lunging strikes that follow.
Hit the creature with four sound blasts to activate a cut scene, then use Shadow Leap to quickly exit the enclosure and complete this mission.
