The Lego Movie Videogame Walkthrough

Solve every puzzling challenge for each level right here, on the Lego Movie Videogame walkthrough. The new major motion picture gets the TT Games treatment — you’ll travel through the film’s plot, experiencing the set-pieces while unlocking new characters with their own unique powers. Sometimes, it isn’t always clear how to progress forward in this Lego-filled world, that’s why we’re here to provide step-by-step instructions (pictures included!) to help kids and adults alike.

Prologue – The Prophecy

Welcome to the Lego Movie Videogame! The fun begins with Vitruvius, Shakespeare and Cleopatra defending themselves from the evil Lord Business.

He sends Robo-Feds to stop the group. Beat up three of them, and he’ll deploy a deadly red laser. The beam sweeps across the ground – jump to dodge it!

Eventually, the beam will hit the gold bricks on the left. If it doesn’t right away, try running over to the left side of the screen.

Build the bouncing bricks around the center of the area to form a rocket. You should also see a red button that’s out of reach.

Female characters, like Cleopatra, can jump higher. Switch to Cleopatra and jump on the big red button.

The rocket misses! Lord Business sends out five more robots. Once defeated, he’ll try the laser again. Jump over it and hang around the right side until the laser accidentally destroys more gold bricks.

Construct the pieces into a second rocket, and use Cleopatra to jump on the red button.

The rocket misses again, but something new appears. Look for a green circle on the ground. This is a Master Builder icon. Any of the three characters you’re in control of can use Master Builder Icons.

Stand on the green circle, and hold the attack button. A reticule (or pointer) will appear. Move it over the Lego objects highlighted in a green outline. There will always be three objects. Move the pointer over all three, and you’ll begin building something new.

Sadly, it doesn’t work out so well for Vitruvius. Lord Business gets away with the super-weapon, and the story gets started in the next level.

Level 1 – Bricksburg Construction

Say hello to Emmet! After leaving his apartment, you’ll be free to explore Bricksburg. When you’re ready to start the next level, follow the transparent green studs toward the construction zone.

When you’re there, fix the sparking blue/black machine to the left of the gray gate. Construction workers like Emmet come equipped with wrenches. They can fix broken machines. Step up to the sparking pile of bricks and hold the prompted button.

The gate will open automatically once the machine is fixed. Run inside to start the first level.

Emmet can’t build on his own. He needs constructions and a Construction Pad. These large pads appear in many levels. Each one requires one or more instruction manuals to use.

First, Emmet needs to build a porch. To do that, you’ll need on instruction manual for the Construction Pad.

Move to the foreground and start smashing the Lego objects blocking the path leading right. Fix the broken, sparking blue Lego machine with Emmet’s wrench. The tube will open to reveal an instruction manual!

Switch to Emmet’s friend Gail (the other construction worker) and jump up onto the yellow tube platform to grab the instructions.

Now return to the Construction Pad. Any non-Master Builder or construction worker character can use these pads, once all the instructions have been found.

When building from the instructions, a faint image will appear on the right, cluing you in to which brick to choose. Select the tree to finish your first build.

There is a timer, but you’ll only lose points for choosing the wrong brick or going slow. Don’t worry, there’s no way to fail. If you’re ever confused, just select every option until you get the right brick.

Once the porch is finished, a helicopter will airlift it (with Emmet and Gail) to a new area.

Emmet has a new job – demolishing! First, he’ll need a jackhammer. Fix the blue sparking machine on the left, near a door into a small house.

When the door opens, run inside and grab the floating blue jackhammer. Now Emmet can destroy cracked bricks, or any bricks by holding down the attack button.

Now, it’s time to destroy the road (gray bricks in the center), the garden (green bricks next to the house), and the house (on the right).

Drills the gray flat bricks in the center of the area to rip out the bridge, then move right. You’ll see cracked bricks on the house’s wall. Destroying one will reveal another cracked brick, then another. While using the jackhammer, push up against the cracked wall to drill it.

Once all three cracked bricks are destroyed with Emmet’s jackhammer, the house will crumble. Destroy the rest of the road and the garden to complete this challenge.

The house collapses to reveal a new Construction Pad. This one needs two (2) instruction manuals. The foreman opens the gate to the right, allowing Emmet to further explore and find the missing manuals.

Stepping through the gates, more workers will ask for help. Their machine won’t work until two batteries and plugged into two sockets. An orange pointer will appear next to a large battery. Push the battery toward the background. That’s one battery in place.

Move right to find the second battery on a truck. Drill through the cracked Lego brick to create a platform. Then jump onto the flatbed truck and push the battery left, then push the battery into the background to complete this challenge.

The man near the gate will give Emmet an instruction manual. One down, one more to go! The flatbed truck leaves the area, revealing a conveyor belt. Move right, and stand near the yellow booth attached to the crane.

A button will appear. Press it to jump into the booth and take control of the crane. Move the platform up, your Lego partner will automatically jump onto the platform if it’s the AI, and fix the sparking blue machine.

Once the conveyor gets going, use it to reach the rooftop. A worker will ask for help in exchange for an instruction manual – he wants to get the lazy workers out of the coffee cabin.

Help him out, start by using Emmet to drill the cracked brick, then use Gail to jump onto the high platform and fix the blue sparking machine.

Next, jump down and push the white plug-in along the push-track. That starts the boombox, but it isn’t loud enough. Jump onto the roof of the coffee cabin with Gail and fix the second speaker.

That starts a dance sequence. Press the button the appears on the track while inside the circle to earn extra studs and build a high score. Don’t worry if you miss, there’s no way to fail.

Try to press the button just as it’s perfectly within the circle. It will linger in the circle for a moment, but that won’t earn an “Awesome!” bonus.

When the dance number is over, grab the last instruction manual and enter the blue tube to return to the Construction Pad.

Complete the build, and Emmet will take control of the wrecking ball. Move the cursor down, then quickly move up to swing the ball. Try to hit the white space in the center to earn extra studs.

After a few hits, the apartment will tumble. But, the level isn’t over yet.

When the cutscene ends, Emmit finds himself falling down a deep hole. Look ahead and use the silver and gold studs as your guide. Try to grab them, they’ll always lead Emmet in a safe direction.

Eventually, he’ll fall into a bathtub and continue sliding down. Use the same tactic, follow the spinning studs.

The falling just doesn’t stop! During this 2D sequence, there’s nothing Emmet can do. But, try returning with different characters in Free Mode to see what other secrets are hidden in these tunnels.

When Emmet hits the ground, he’ll find his destiny – the Piece of Resistance.

Level 2 – Escape From Bricksburg

Starting in a pit, use Wyldstyle to jump onto the blue / pink grip, then jump across using the twirl pole. Next, jump against the blue / pink walls to cling to them. Now the pair of Lego characters can jump up and out of the pit.

Follow the green studs and jump onto the climbable wall next to the police station doors. Keep climbing up to reach the next level.

Wyldstyle to the rescue! She saves Emmet, while an army of Robot Cops swarm in. Note the hopping bricks in the center of the room.

See those hopping bricks? Wyldstyle and any other Master Builder can build with these bricks, but Emmet can’t. Construct the parts to form a laser turret.

Red laser streams can destroy gold bricks. Hop into the turret and shoot the beam at the gold rocket camera, then destroy the gold brick door to the left.

Run into the now-open booth through the destroyed gold door to grab the first instruction manual. Further left, inside the room, is a cracked wall. Drill through it with Emmet.

The bricks will topple, and a pair of pink/blue agility grips will appear outside the booth, on the left. Switch to Wyldstyle and climb up. Build the hopping bricks to create an agility plate. Step on it with Wyldstyle to jump across the gap.

On the right booth, you’ll see the roof is covered with cracked bricks. That means you’ll need to get Emmet up there with his drill. Run to the right wall and push the computer on the track bricks off the ledge, then hop down and construct the pieces.

She’ll build a jump pad! Jump onto the roof and drill through every cracked brick to break through the roof and grab the second instruction manual.

Inside the glass booth, after dropping down, look for a big red button to the left of the manual. Press it to raise a shield, showing another room with the last instruction manual.

How to leave the booth? Smash the spinning vent fan and construct the bricks. Fly out of the room and jump back onto the laser turret.

Cut through the gold bricks to destroy the glass shield, then jump in with Wyldstyle’s high-jump and grab the last instruction manual.

Now Emmet can use the Construction Pad. Once the giant ladder is built, use the crank on the right to raise it up completely.

After climbing up, a robot will destroy the ladder, trapping both of the brick-people.

Smash the printer on the left side of the screen and build the pieces. Bounce onto the agility objects with Wyldstyle, and climb across the wall. Eventually she’ll make it to hanging catwalks.

Run toward the Lego object bridge, and a robot will blow it up! No problem for Wyldstyle, she can jump across the gap with the two twirl poles. Just make sure to switch to Emmet and destroy the Robot Cop first.

Across, attack the ladder to drop it down for Emmet. Then, use the agility walls to reach an agility pad. But, don’t use the pad just yet, a robot will destroy the upper path and electrify the area.

Switch to Emmet and repair the blue sparking brick machine. Now Wyldstyle can use the agility pad. Jumping across, she’ll pull down another sparking machine. Fix it with Emmet, and he’ll create a fan.

Ride up, then drill through the cracked wall to escape the police station.

In the backstreet, Emmet will get his head stuck in a trashcan. Remember those strange green circles from the prologue? Those are Master Build icons.

Stand on it with Wyldstyle and move the cursor across all three glowing green Lego bricks to build part of their escape vehicle.

But, the motorcycle isn’t done yet. There’s only one green Master Build object uncovered. Use Emmet to help make more green glowing bricks appear.

Drill through the cracked wall on the right with Emmet. One more green object will appear. Next, drill through the cracked floor on the left. Ride the water up onto the platform with Wyldstyle and jump at the high-jump agility icon to reach a high hand-hold.

That should show all three objects. Drop down and use the Master Build icon with Wyldstyle to highlight all three glowing green brick objects with the cursor.

Hop into the vehicle and continue into the awesome chase sequence.

Emmet drives while Wyldstyle follows, jumping on trucks and cars. Here, you’ll have to switch between the two to solve each challenge.

First, jump onto the truck full of gold bricks with Wyldstyle and climb onto the high platform near the front of the truck bed. If you stand anywhere else, the level won’t progress.

A cop car will start shooting at the motorcycle! Switch to Emmet and hold down attack to target the van. Destroying it will create a new path for Wyldstyle.

Jump from the truck, to the car, to the bus with Wyldstyle, then switch back to Emmet and shoot down the new bad guy car.

Emmet will give the bus a boost, and a new Master Build icon will appear. Use it with Wyldstyle, and she’ll build a crane with an agility object.

Jump over to the hand-hold and hang on until she’s hanging over an Octan Oil Truck. Drop down, switch to Emmet, and shoot the back-end of the tanker truck.

The tanker will fly forwards, while more bad guys will appear. Press the attack button as they get close!

Once Emmet catches up, switch to Wyldstyle. Jump onto the climbable net wall, then switch -back- to Emmet for more cops versus super motorcycle action. Blast the robots, then shoot the little yellow car on the back of the tow truck.

Switch back to Wyldstyle, and use the truck’s tow line to walk across.

Jump from car to car, until a wall of cruisers blocks the road and dumps Wyldstyle into a turret. Good timing, as the pair of heroes will have to defeat a bad guy helicopter next.

Destroy all four vans, and the chopper will tilt slightly to show off a silver brick on it’s backside. Use Wyldstyle’s explosive cannon to blast the silver bricks.

After taking out the second wave of vans, shoot the chopper’s silver bricks one more time to end the encounter. But the level isn’t over yet.

Switch to Emmet and shoot the back end of the yellow truck ahead. Use Wyldstyle to jump across the blue cargo. Jump on the green truck, then the blue truck, then the black truck. Jump with the agility pad to the blue-topped truck.

Switch to Emmet and blast the lumber-hauling truck ahead to create a bridge for Wyldstyle. Now she can slide down the log and ride on the empty flatbed.

Next, Emmet will have to contend with two more robot vans, and a car-carrier. Destroy the robot vans, then target each car. Shoot all three, and a Master Build icon will appear in front of Wyldstyle.

Use the icon to complete the mission and make your getaway.

Level 3 – Flatbush Gulch

The next level is easy to start. Just run toward the ship through the open gate while following the green studs.

After escaping Bricksburg, Emmet will tumble through a strange portal. Just like in the first level, follow the stud rings to stay safe.

The pair will fall onto a downward slope. Switch to Wyldstyle, she’s just slightly more graceful than the bumbling Emmet. She can slide along walls and reach areas Emmet can’t.

The puzzles don’t start until both minifigs are stuck outside the town of Flatbush. See the Construction Pad past the group of cowboy robots, sitting around a fire? Time to hunt down some instruction manuals.

Jump onto the building on the left with Wyldstyle where she can grab onto a hand-hold to raise the crate. Now they can get inside and grab the first manual.

Off to the right, there’s a tower with a crazy prospector bot tossing dynamite. Stand near the silver brick base of the tower until the bad guy throws dynamite, destroying the silver bricks to reveal a cracked brick. Use Emmet’s drill on the cracked wall to make the tower a lot shorter.

Now Wyldstyle can climb up onto the tower and punch the ladder to drop it down. Bring up Emmet and fix the sparking blue machine. With that done, the instruction manual will float to the ground.

Grab the manual, and complete the Construction Pad build to get yourselves a carriage. The pair will switch into Old West outfits, complete with six-shooters! Now both Emmet and Wyldstyle can shoot targets.

Blast the target on the carriage, then shoot the target to the right of the gate, attached to the building. A Master Build icon will appear – get Wyldstyle on that! She’ll build… a treadmill?

On the left side of the area, start riding one of the horses that were freed after destroying the carriage. Ride the horse onto the treadmill and mash the interaction button that appears overhead to open the gate.

Run through the open gate to enter the saloon.

This place is already rowdy. Three robot cowboys will attack. Take care of them, and the next five that show up to reveal the crazed robot prospector. Get him to throw dynamite on the table to the left.

Stand on the silver table on the left, and wait for a red marker to appear. Then run for it! When the table explodes, the upper balcony will lean down enough for Wyldstyle to jump onto.

Jump onto the second floor and defeat the dynamite robot, then run all the way to the right where you’ll find another Master Build icon for Wyldstyle to use.

She’ll build a ladder for Emmet! Now climb up and use the wrench socket machine upstairs, in the back right corner. The chandelier will fall, and the way to Vitrivius will open. Hop down and run toward him to complete the level.

Level 4 – Flatbush Gulch Rooftops

Follow the green studs to a cactus with blue / pink dots. Smash it and build the objects to construct an agility wall. Climb it and jump onto the balcony. Circle around to the front and climb onto the roof.

Move toward the background, and jump right onto the saloon roof. Then, drop down and run toward the foreground to find a raised ladder. Attack it to lower ladder so Emmet can climb up and use the wrench socket.

With the door open, run on in to start the next level.

When the level starts, you’ll have control of three characters; Vitruvius, Wyldstyle, and Emmet. Move right and, following an explosion, construct the hopping bricks.

The blue/white ledge can only be used by Vitruvius. Inch across with the bearded old man, then attack the skeleton holding up the water tower.

That puts out the fire, and creates a pile of brown bricks. Build them with Vitruvius to create a bridge. Switch to Emmet and drill through the cracked wall further right.

Wall-jump up with Wyldstyle to find the first instruction manual. Climb up the net wall on the clock tower, move left, then drop down to find the second instruction manual.

Return to the Construction Pad with Emmet to create a Lego totem. Drill through the cracked wall to create a ramp so Emmet can get to the ladder above. Climb up and move left to find another cracked wall at the base of the clock tower.

Build the bricks with Vitruvius or Wyldstyle and push the brick onto the green square in the back-right corner.

Climb up, and use Vitruvius’ staff to target the blue pole socket. The staff creates a twirl pole for Wyldstyle. On the upper level, hit the ladder so Emmet can climb up and drill through the cracked floor to the right, on the brown awning.

Build the blue/white bricks to create another narrow bridge that only Vitruvius can use. Sneak across, then use the green Master Build icon to construct a ballista with a turkey…? Attack the ballista to fire it, then crank it!

Back on the other side of the drop with Emmet and Wyldstyle, build the hopping bricks to create a black brick bridge to reach Vitruvius.

Fix the blue smoking machine with Emmet to raise a rope that everyone can use to repel across to the right. On the next roof, you’ll find a Construction Pad. Three ladders will appear that spawn endless swarms of robot cops.

To fix this situation, you’ll need to find all three instruction manuals. The first manual is simply in the foreground. Another is blocked up by wooden Lego objects to the right. The last manual is in a small lower area in the foreground, to the left.

Complete the Instruction Build to create a catapult! But, it needs ammo. In the background, brown Lego barrels will appear.

Ride them like a car or vehicle, and move the barrels onto the catapult. Once in place, attack the catapult to launch. Launch two more barrels to destroy all three robot ladders.

What’s next? A Master Build icon appears just slightly right of the construction pad. You can stun the robot cop with a targeted throw from Vitruvius’ staff.

Completing the Master Build creates a bridge leading further right. On the next building, throw Vitruvius’ staff into the pole socket, then jump up onto the previously unreachable platform with Wyldstyle using the twirl pole.

Knock down the ladder up here, and switch to Vitruvius. Only this old man can cross the treacherous blue/white brick path across on the right. Once he’s across, the entire board will tip over, creating a bridge for Emmet and Wyldstyle.

Smash the random Lego box and build the hopping bricks to create a path up the slick Lego rooftop.

Prepare for a fight on the next roof. Three ladders will appear and bring even more SWAT bots.

Use Emmet to drill into the cracked Lego walls on the first two. To destroy the last ladder, smash the Lego pigeon-cages and build the hopping bricks to place a cracked wall on the third ladder. Now Emmet can drill it, bringing it down.

Once the ladders are destroyed, the Robot Sheriff will arrive with his posse of Robot Cowboys. This hombre is tough, and he’s armed with a gatling gun. Ignore the sheriff for now, just destroy the cowboys until a jetpack robot arrives.

With the jetpack robot, a Master Build pad will apear. Use Vitruvius to stun the jetpack bad guy, giving him time to use the Master Build icon.

That creates… something strange, with a fan on top. Use Emmet to activate the wrench socket, launching the fan, knocking over the water tower, and stunning the sheriff.

Beat up the remaining cowboy robots, until a platform appears. Destroy these new robot reinforcements, then use the green icon to finish yet another Master Build. Jump onto this new vehicle to complete the level.

Level 5 – Escape From Flatbush

The entrance to the way out is blocked by a closed gate. Switch to Wyldstyle and jump onto the building to the left of the fence, then jump right onto the twirl pole. Throw Vitruvius’ pole into the socket to help Wyldstyle reach a Master Build icon. Complete it to open the gates.

On the train, fight through the Super Secret Police until some bad guys destroy a section of the train. Use Emmet to fix the sparking blue machine and pull the train cars back together.

Jumping to the next flat car, stun the jetpack bad guy with Vitruvius’ staff throw, then complete the Master Build.

Keep moving right to find a red crank on the green car. Use it to open the door, where you’ll find a cracked wall for Emmet to drill. Build the leftover bricks to create a bouncy surface so the trio can reach the train car roof.

Fight to the right until finding a blue/pink jump icon for Wyldstyle. Jump to the hanging Lego palette and take control of the crane to lower the platform so the two boy figures can cross.

Keep moving until Bad Cop arrives and blows a hole in the train cars ahead. Run toward the wreckage to construct the hopping bricks, creating a platform extending toward the foreground.

Throw Vitruvius’ staff into the blue/white socket, then use the twirl poles with Wyldstyle. Reaching the hand-holds, Bad Cop will blow a hole in the next car’s wall. Jump in, and continue using these pink/blue bricks.

Eventually, Wyldstyle will find a dead end. Destroy the crates and Lego objects to find a green valve handle. Grab it, and follow the marker that appears onscreen, leading her to a green socket. Place the valve then turn it to put out the fire down the tracks.

Now Wyldstyle can build with the hopping bricks to complete a brown Lego square on a slick surface. Push the crate over the ledge on the left, creating a stepping stone.

Now Emmet can get to the dead end and use the machine near the raised platform, lowering it. The next part is tricky.

Bad Cop will target sections of the train. Keep running, but retreat when a red marker appears on the floor. That means an explosive blast is incoming.

At the end of the path, you’ll find a Construction Pad. Jump onto the hand-holds with Wyldstyle and shimmy over to the single instruction manual you need.

Complete the Instruction Build with Emmet, then jump onto the lift it creates with Vitruvius. He can cross the blue/white bridge over the burning train car ahead.

Jumping down onto another flatbed section, another train will appear in the foreground. Jump on over with Vitruvius.

Move to the front of this second train and use the Master Build, creating a break mechanism so the other two minifig heroes can jump on.

Return to the area with the last Master Build, just with Wyldstyle. Climb up onto the agility hand-hold, then jump back to the first train and back-up to find a raised ladder. Attack it to drop it down and create a path for Emmet to join her.

The second train crashes a burns as the first glides onto a bridge. No time to worry, use Emmet to drill through the cracked floor. Build the hopping bricks with a Master Builder to create a simple bridge.

Almost over now! Run down another gauntlet of explosions to find a Master Build icon on the engine. Complete it to temporarily ditch Bad Cop and complete the level.

Level 6 – Welcome to Cloud Cuckoo Land

Finally, an easy level to start. Just switch to Batman and use his grappling hook on the Batwing. Either hold down attack and target the grapple point, or stand underneath the grapple point and press the button that appears over Batman’s head.

Time to find a way into Cloud Cuckoo Land. Start with Batman, pull the grapple point attached to the flapping pink/purple streamer hanging from a cloud to the left. Pulling the Lego kite down creates a pile of bouncing bricks. Batman is a Master Builder too, so he can construct the pieces.

He’ll construct another grapple point. Use it to lower the cloud, then switch to Wyldstyle and jump to the higher-up cloud on the left.

Jumping on the little cloud will cause it to lower. Switch back to Batman, and jump to move left, where you’ll find another large cloud in the background held up by five multi-colored balloons. Pop every balloon with Batman’s batarangs.

When the cloud lowers, jump onto it and run toward the crashed Lego hot-air balloon. To find the Master Build icon, smash the Lego cloud object with green dots. Complete the Master Build to create a mast.

Hold down attack with Batman to hit the little red/white target on the left side of the mast. Now the entire cloud will move to the bottom of a pillowy staircase.

Jump onto the steps with Wyldstyle and push the big white Lego brick down the stairs. Build the hopping bricks to place a grapple point. Use Batman to pull on the hook, and the stairs will be complete.

Remember that little Lego cloud with green parts? You’ll find something similar at the top of the steps – only blue this time. Smash it to find a Secret Knock icon. Only Vitruvius can use these.

During a Secret Knock, button inputs will appear above Vitruvius’ head. Push each button that appears to open the door into Cloud Cuckoo Land.

In Cloud Cuckoo Land, you’ll get a new character added to the team. Unikitty can destroy rainbow-colored sparkling Lego objects, and build with them. No one else can, so whenever you see a rainbow Lego object, switch to Unikitty.

Smash both rainbow flowers, then build the pieces into a ramp up. Use Batman to pull the grapple point attached to the back of the Lego robot with the serving tray. Pulling it reveals a sparking machine inside. Who can fix those? Emmet!

A pink robot will appear to the left. Hit the target on its arm with Batman’s batarangs, then use Vitruvius’ staff to target the pink socket on the blue robot to create a twirl pole for Wyldstyle to swing on.

Jump to the twirl pole with Wyldstyle, wall-jump, and you’ll reach the serving tray. Push the rainbow cup down, and Unikitty can construct the rainbow hopping bricks after smashing it. Step onto the spring she creates.

The robot moves the group to a new cloud, just below (and to the right) of a Lego pink elephant head in the background.

To the right, there’s a blue sky-themed toaster. Use Batman to pull the grapple point, then jump onto the toaster’s handle with Unikitty and Wyldstyle. You’ll need both of them!

Two chunks of rainbow toast will pop out. Smash them both and construct the bricks with Unikitty. Another spring jump leads to another new zone.

There’s a big rainbow right near the start. Pull it down with Batman’s grappling point, smash the parts with Unikitty, then construct the remains into a bridge, allowing the pals to continue moving right.

At the right edge of the screen, use Batman on the grappling point attached to a tea pot. Three flowers will pop up, but two of the sockets are missing twirl poles. Throw Vitruvius’ staff into the lower flower socket, switch to Wyldstyle and jump to the single twirl pole in the center.

While Wyldstyle is on the middle twirl pole, switch back to Vitruvius and press the interaction button to get his staff back. Now, throw his staff into the highest flower socket.

Wyldstyle can now get up to the giant cuckoo bird. Ignore it for now, and move to the rainbow tunnel in the background, to the right of the chickpea. Notice the blue Secret Knock icon on the rainbow tunnel.

To the right of the Secret Knock, there’s a pinwheel. Smash it to find a red handle. Follow the pointer that appears and attach the handle onto the mechanism, then use the mechanism itself. A strange robot will appear and create a grapple point.

Switch to Batman and use it! Instead of pulling something down, Batman will swing up to the Lego bird’s platform. Pull on the hook point on the bird itself, then climb into the open beak with Wyldstyle.

Unfortunately for Wyldstyle, she’ll leave the bird stuck inside a rainbow egg! Jump up to the platform with Unikitty, or roll down off the upper cloud to Unikitty so she can smash the egg.

Destroying the egg will leave a pile of rainbow bricks down where Batman first used the grapple point to reach the giant bird. Unikitty can build the hopping rainbow pieces into a spring.

Step onto the spring, then move Vitruvius to the Secret Knock on the rainbow tunnel.

We’re almost there! Dropping down, you’ll be standing in front of a pink elephant head. To start, there’s a Master Build icon, but only one master build brick.

To get the rest, look to the left and right of the pink elephant head. To the right, use Batman to pull on the grapple point. To the left, use Emmet’s drill on the cracked wall. That’ll reveal the missing two master build bricks.

Now, use the Master Build icon to create a mouse-car. Jump in and drive toward the elephant head. Stop right in front of it to scare the elephant away, creating a wall-jump obstacle for Wyldstyle.

Time to find all three instruction manuals. The first is easy, find it out in the open on the left side of the area.

Get to the top of the wall-jumps to get the second manual. Then move right and crawl across the wire to reach a tower. Jump into the hole in the center to get the last manual.

Level 7 – Attack on Cloud Cuckoo Land

To start the next stage, follow the green floating studs to a rainbow door. Smash it with Unikitty and build the bouncing rainbow pieces into a ramp.

Lord Business’ army is tearing down Cloud Cuckoo Land! Emmet, Batman, and Unikitty are taken away by Micro Managers. Time to save them.

To the left of the starting area, there’s a blue/white staff socket. Throw Vitruvius’ staff in to create a twirl pole for Wyldstyle to use. Climb up and jump to the fountain area.

The flying Micro Managers have a red laser. Trick this one into destroying the gold bricks in the center by standing behind the statue.

Once it’s destroyed, Abe Lincoln will fly by and destroy the robot, letting Wyldstyle construct the leftover bricks to form a clown. Jump on the red pump to spray water on the fire below, putting it out completely.

Jump down and punch through the debris to find Batman stuck behind a cracked wall. You’ll need Emmet before you can save the caped crusader.

Further right, there’s a Secret Knock icon. Use it with Vitruvius, and the bricks will open up, revealing wall-jumps. Switch to Wyldstyle and jump off the agility walls.

In the upper area, there’s a cracked wall left and a Master Build icon. Ignore both for now, instead jump to the spinning platforms on the right.

Use the spinning platforms to reach Emmet, who’s stuck in the grip of a Micro Manager. Reaching him, stand underneath the Micro Manager and press the switch button. Mash the button that appears over Emmet to escape.

Now you can bring Emmet back down the spinning platforms. Drill through the cracked wall below where Batman is stuck to free him, then use Batman to pull the grapple point above and to the left.

The flower will fall apart. Build the bricks to create a fan so Emmet can get to the upper ledge and drill through the cracked wall.

Drilling through causes a line of twirl poles to drop. Throw Vitruvius’ staff into the first socket, then jump across the poles with Wyldstyle’s improved agility.

Reaching the next large area alone with Wyldstyle, move right until you spot a tiny cloud with a agility hand-hold. Jump up and hang from it to bring the tiny cloud down. Now you can complete the Master Build.

Bring the whole gang up and run toward the background of the area above. A Micro Manager will arrive, but Honest Abe is nowhere to be found. Luckily, Batman can defeat these creatures.

Hit the Micro Manager with Batman’s batarang, then target the glowing grapple point on its back to destroy the bad guy. Three more will arrive after the first is destroyed – just do the same thing for each Micro Manager.

When they’re all done with, that giant bird from the previous level will swoop in to save the day. She’ll also leave her beak open. Jump on in to reach a new section of the level.

Defeat the first waves of robots, then drill through the cracked wall in the back-left corner of the area with Emmet. Build the pieces into a walkway for Vitruvius to tip-toe through. On the left side, you’ll find a giant flower-pattern platform with a Secret Knock icon.

Complete the sequence to create a series of spinning flower platforms for the whole gang (except Wyldstyle, still stuck in her rainbow egg) to the ramps on the left.

Work up the clouds, and when you’re on the upper area, move right to find a cage with Unikitty. But, there’s a deadly pink river in the way. Fix the sparking blue machine next to Abe Lincoln to create stepping stones across the water.

At the cage with Unikitty, step close and switch to the kitty. Press the button that appears over her head to bust out of the slammer.

Unikitty goes crazy! While she’s in a berserker rage, robots will swarm down. Destroy the SWAT bots until a Micro Manager Walker appears.

These big baddies require Wyldstyle and Emmet to take down. Jump down to the start of the area and bust open the rainbow egg with Unikitty to save Wyldstyle. Build the rainbow bricks to create a springboard.

Now she can travel back up to the walker and climb up the back side of the Micro Manager to reach the top. Mash the button that appears once Wyldstyle is on the roof, then drill through the cracked Lego wall with Emmet’s drill while the walker is down.

Build the rubble from the Micro Manager to create a turret, then use that turret to shoot the gold sections of the rocket ship.

Run over to the crash site to find a new Master Build icon. It’ll create two vehicles – an elephant car and a whale car. Jump in the elephant car and press the attack button to shoot out water.

Drive to the fire on the right side and put it out. Jump up the cloudy steps to reach the very top. There’s a giant gold egg up here.

Smash ten robots and a flying Micro Manager will arrive. Don’t destroy it – instead, stand so the gold egg is between you and the robot so it’s laser melts the gold bricks.

When the egg breaks apart, there’s another shell underneath made of rainbow blocks. Smash those up with Unikitty, build the parts, and step on the springboard to complete the level.

Level 8 – Escape From Cloud Cuckoo Land

Benny the Spaceman can use the computer behind the rubble, just to the left of the green stud path. Hacking computers starts a mini-game.

These unique Pacman-style challenges puts you on a board. Move the Benny icon to the red core to capture it. Watch out for bad guys, and grab the blue stud for a speed boost.

Completing the hack will summon a spaceship. Jump on to reach the far cloud and get into the level proper.

Time to escape Cloud Cuckoo Land! That means the group will need to fix their amazing submarine creation. It isn’t quite done, so let’s work together to complete this thing.

Let’s build the center section first. Use Wyldstyle to jump up near the level start and travel to a big red Lego nozzle. Hop onto it and stand there to activate a big black smoke cloud. This can be finicky, but keep trying.

The cloud full of bad guys will be stained black, and fly parallel to Batman’s section. Jump down and run to the front of the submarine.

Move left and use Batman’s grapple gun on the grapple point to find a Master Build icon. Complete the master build to finish Batman’s section – that’s one part out of three complete.

After a cutscene, a section of bridge gets wedged on Batman’s section of the sub. Switch to Wyldstyle and leap to the hand-holds closer to the foreground on the left. Shimmy around the bridge and jump up and defeat the robots.

Another flying vehicle will hover over the bridge, while a second Master Build icon appears beneath it. Use the icon to build a hacking computer for Benny the blue spaceman. Complete the hacking minigame, and Benny will place Vitruvius back on the first Master Build icon.

What else is there to do? Switch to Vitruvius and complete another Master Build. That’s two parts of the sub done, one more to go.

Move right with Unikitty until reaching a blank white and pink billboard. There’s a rainbow object near the ledge – smash it and build the pieces to create climbable walls on the billboard surface for Wyldstyle to cross.

After conquering the billboard, smash the Lego pinwheel flowers on the opposite side and construct the hopping bricks. Interact with the crank on the new object to lower the entire billboard, creating a bridge for the rest.

Time for more fighting! Take out 20 SWAT robots, and a rocket launcher robot will appear. Hide behind the three silver Lego objects in the foreground so this bad guy destroys the shiny bricks for you.

When all three are broken, build the parts to form a hacking computer. Switch to Benny and complete the hacking minigame to gain control of the RPG robot.

With the rocket launcher bad guy in your control, jump down and blast the last large remaining silver bricks just to the right of the computer.

Blasting the bottom of the clock tower summons two more Micro Managers. No need for Batman, just blast the robots with your rocket launcher to instantly destroy them.

When the managers are dealt with, use Unikitty to smash the rainbow Lego bird popping out of the cuckoo clock tower.

Riding the rainbow butterfly, look for the archway up top. See it? It’s at the center of the winding staircase. Jump on that roof, there’s a Master Build icon up there. Complete the Master Build to finish the submarine and escape! Sort of.

Level 9 – The Depths

Back in the ruins of Cloud Cuckoo Land, follow the green studs to the zip-line and ride across the water. Jump to the agility hand-hold on the right with Wyldstyle to get to the top of the colorful castle.

Jump onto the big red pump to blow out the wall. Now Unikitty to climb up to the roof and destroy the rainbow blocks.

Constructing the pieces to form a springboard, then use it to reach a tinier version of the submarine. Use Wyldstyle to climb up onto the submarine to start the next level.

At the start, you’ll be stuck with Benny and Vitruvius. Smash the light hanging from the ceiling to the left of the start, then construct the pieces to plug the water.

Next, destroy the Lego objects past the water to get a little item to grab. Follow the pointer to place the little object in the DJ booth to blow out the floor.

Falling down, jump to the right and smash the bricks near the Lego fire. Construct the pieces, smash the fireplace, and use Vitruvius to activate the Secret Knock icon.

Continue right and use the Master Builder icon after smashing the grey pipes on the right-corner of the blue-ish room.

Ride the lift up, then attack the glowing cloud Lego objects near the ceiling of the purple room. A big heart will smash through the lower two floors. Drop down to reach the lowest area of the sub.

Smash the yellow radar dish objects on the left and right of the room, then jump on both of the yellow things to activate two switches.

Pull both switches to raise the shield blocking a computer that Benny can hack. Finishing the challenge launches a torpedo that puts a hole in the sub, and crashes into the rocks to the left of the ship.

Swim through the new hole in the floor, and continue left to find the crashed torpedo in the rocks.

Target the torpedo to destroy it, breaking into the tunnel below. Here, you’ll need to fill up your oxygen meter by collecting blue hearts. Those pop out of areas where bubbles flow.

While swimming through the straight tunnel, hide in the alcoves to dodge schools of fish that push the pair of characters backwards.

Continue to swim until you leave the tunnel and reach a larger open area. There’s a swordfish waiting for you.

To leave, swim over to the right side where there’s a pile of Lego ruins with a target. Draw the swordfish toward the target by swimming near it. Once the Swordfish slams into the ruins, swim through to enter another section of the tunnel.

It’s really dark down here, so watch where you swim. There are more alcoves with bubbles you’ll want to hide in to avoid schools of pushy fish.

As you swim, watch out for areas where bubbles are just lingering in the water. Eels will pop-out and try to bite Vitruvius or Benny if you get close.

Swimming to a giant vertical path, you’ll have another danger to avoid. Giant electric eels will swim across the water, damaging anything they touch. Take it slow, and watch out for these deadly sea monsters.

At the top of the dark pathway, you’ll finally reach the light (and a red crystal savepoint) but the trip through the depths isn’t over yet.

Keep up all the swimming, until the pair finds a pointer made of studs, leading to a hatch into the safe zone of the submarine with the rest of your Lego friends.

Jump into the submarine through the opening in the bottom with Vitruvius and use the Secret Knock icon to reach the level exit.

Level 10 – Infiltrate The Octan Tower

Time to invade Lord Business’ evil fortress. Smash the rainbow object near the haphazard submarine and construct the pieces into a platform attached to the submerged toaster. Jump onto the toaster with Batman and stand on the opposite edge to use his grapple gun.

Jump onto the big object, then leap to the wrecked tower, and slide down the zip-line. Now, all you have to do is jump onto the double-decker couch.

Before you can invade Octan Tower, you’ll need to build a spaceship on Metalbeard’s pirate ship. There are five missing instruction manuals, let’s get hunting.

Let’s start with Batman. See the double-decker couch? It’s on a broken track. Use Batman to target the grapple point above the couch, then construct the bricks to complete the track. Push the couch over to make an agility icon appear.

Jump onto the couch with Wyldstyle and climb up to the front of the ship. Destroy the Lego object closer to the foreground to build the pieces into a ladder, so Batman can climb up.

With Batman, destroy the Lego barrels and build the pieces, then use a batarang on the glowing torch hanging off the mast. The fire will light the Lego bricks and blow open the front of the ship, allowing the minifigs to jump down into the lower deck.

Down below, destroy all four Lego boxes and build the pieces to create a platform. Walk on it with Batman, and target the grapple point above. Once it’s pulled down, Vitruvius can build the blue/white bricks and tip-toe to the first instruction manual.

When a shark tries to bite Vitruvius, he’ll go flying back to the forward mast, pulling down a net that Wyldstyle can climb up. Get up there, and jump into the pipe to get shot out to the back end of the ship.

Luckily, there’s a manual nearby. Run down the steps to the left to find the second instruction manual.

Smash the crate next to the instruction manual to build a ladder for the rest of your friends.

While you’re down near the Instruction Build pad, I switched to Vitruvius and activated the Secret Knock icon in the right foreground. The third instruction manual is in there.

Now, climb the ladder and drill into the cracked wall attached to the treasure chest. Build the hopping bricks with any Master Builder, then pull the grapple point with Batman.

Grappling up, there’s a target attached to the wheel. Hit it with a batarang to open a room full of rainbow bricks. Too bad Unikitty can’t reach that area yet because of the busted stairs.

Grab the green handle that falls from the smashed target, and use it with the machine below, creating an air stream that can lift Unikitty up.

Fly up to the next deck of the ship with Unikitty and destroy the rainbow bricks. When they start bouncing, build the rainbow Lego objects into a spring to reach the very top of Metalbeard’s cutter.

Not only is Metalbeard up here, but an instruction manual is too. Only one more to go.

Right next to Metalbeard, you’ll find a Master Builder icon. Use it to create a cannon. Now, jump on in with any old Lego person to take a ride to the crow’s nest.

The zip-line drops your character down on the fifth instruction manual. Now Emmet can use the Instruction Build pad.

Welcome to Octan Tower! Take control of Metalbeard and go on a rampage. Defeat SWAT robots until the number at the top of the screen reaches zero.

There are also gun turrets – Metalbeard is a tough customer, hold down attack to target enemies with his cannon. It destroys most enemies, including tough Micro Managers, in one hit.

In the back-left corner of the room, more enemies will exit through a set of double doors. To the right of those doors, you’ll find a cracked wall. Drill through with Emmet to reveal a silver column.

Only explosives can destroy silver Lego bricks. Switch to Metalbeard and target the column with his cannon to blow those bricks apart.

Instead of creating a nice ramp, the platform breaks down, leaving an agility icon, signifying that Wyldstyle can use it to reach the high platform.

Move left and press the big red button to reveal an electrical switch. To trigger these, grab enemy robots with Greybeard [B / Interaction Button] and then hold down attack to target the switch. He’ll throw the bot in, activating the lift so the rest of your team can join Wyldstyle.

Get up there with Batman, and pull on the grapple point above the Master Build icon, which is also near an unactivated hacking computer. Pull down the grapple point, then complete the Master Build.

The hacking computer is now complete. Bring Benny the Spaceman up on the lift to use it. When the minigame is done, two shields to reveal four silver Lego locks on the massive door out of the hangar.

What destroys silver? Explosives! Switch to Metalbeard and blast all four silver locks.

The next room is full of robot troops and Micro Managers. Deal with the bad guys first – remember, Metalbeard can destroy the Micro Managers in one hit with his cannon.

When all the bad guys a defeated, a dropship will appear with a prominent gold grapple point. Use Batman to bring the grapple point down, revealing an electricity switch.

Do the same thing as before. Grab a robot with Metalbeard, then target the switch to activate it. The dropship will crash, and a Master Build icon will appear.

Complete the Master Build to create steps up to the burning pathway only Vitruvius can use. Once he tip-toes through the burning ledges, you’ll reach an inactive lift.

To the left of the elevator is a Secret Knock icon. Use it to create steps up to the area for everyone by Metalbeard, and to reveal an electricity switch. There are no robots for Metalbeard to throw into the switch yet, let’s fix that.

Jump up the steps with Benny and use the hacking computer to take control of a robot. Move the robot down next to Metalbeard, then switch to the pirate and pick the hacked robot up. Throw it into the switch, and the lift will activate.

Now Metalbeard can ride the elevator up, destroy the dangerous turret, and blow open the silver doors at the end of the road.

Next, the group arrives in Lord Business’ secret relics room. Jump over the first set of lasers with Wyldstyle, and complete the Master Build on the left side to create a ramp. Switch to Emmet and drill through the cracked floor on the right.

That reveals another Master Build icon. This one creates a springboard so the ground can jump over the second set of deadly lasers.

Jump over and you’ll find yet another Master Build icon on the left section. With the slingshot in place, activate it with the crank on the left side, then press the interaction button to pull Lord Business’ chair over.

A fourth Master Build now has all three pieces it needs. Find the icon on the right side to create a passcode machine.

This is tricky. Start at “0”, then carefully walk from “.” to “2”, to “5”, to “6”, to “9” then jump to “7” to solve the puzzle.

Now that the lasers are down, Batman can use the grapple point to the left of the calculator. That completes another level, and brings Emmet one step closer to stopping Lord Business’ evil plans.

Level 11 – Put The Thing On The Thing

Time to get into the the Kragle chamber. Use Emmet to fix the broken blue Lego machine, then switch to Wyldstyle and ride the fixed lift.

Jump up and move right to leap to the twirl pole. Leap over to the hand-holds, climb up, and use the red switch to open the massive door. Now you can follow the green studs to the next level.

As the level starts, circle around the production line of robot workers to enter the main area with an Instruction Pad in the center. Time to find 3 instruction manuals.

To the left of the pad, smash the two red computer terminals. Build the hopping bricks to create a photo booth. Use it to create an ID card – just don’t forget to grab it from the front of the machine.

Take the photo ID and use it with the terminal on the right. The conveyor belt brings two more Lego objects, allowing Wyldstyle to use the Master Build icon on the left section of the area.

Once the television is built, the line of robot workers further left will leave. Ride up the elevator and drill through the cracked wall. Grab the first instruction manual, then construct the hopping bricks – both piles!

The pieces build a remote-control car and a terminal. Use the terminal to automatically drive the car into the door to your right, blowing the door open.

Enter the windowed area and push the block on the track with the attached twirl pole to the left-most edge of the track.

Once it’s in place, jump to the twirl pole and use the computer pad attached to the glass door, allowing Emmet to join Wyldstyle on the balcony.

Drill through the cracked wall to unlock the second instruction manual. Build the hopping bricks into an agility jump pad. Just step on it and use the Master Build icon to create a ladder for Emmet.

Now Emmet can climb up and drill through the cracked wall. That’s all three instruction manuals. Jump back down and use the Construction Pad.

The speaker gets dumped onto the conveyor, while more Lego objects stop down the center pathway. That’s your cue to use the new Master Builder icon.

So begins another dance sequence. When it’s done, the long line of robot workers on the right will vacate, revealing the cracked wall in that previously locked-off area.

Drill through the cracked Lego wall and climb up to enter a new area. Here, Wyldstyle leaves in favor of Batman.

Up on the catwalk, you’ll need to tear down all four Lego wires. The first is right near the start. Pull off the grapple point, then drill through the cracks with Emmet.

To the right, there’s a tricky security system puzzle. To get by, wait for the red light outside of the audio sensors. While in front of an audio sensor, you can’t jump. Stand outside the sensors, then jump over the red light before walking past the audio sensor.

Past the security, push the Lego crate off the track so both minifigs can get into the corner and destroy the second wire.

Once the second wire is broken, the right-most electrified pathway will shut down, allowing the pair to move toward the background and get to the third wire.

Get by the second security checkpoint to reach the last wire. When it’s destroyed, the path to the Kragle will open. Run down the long road to reach the final section of the level.

It’s Lord Business versus Vitruvius! Around the arena, your pals are being chased by robots. Defeat the guards and then target each friend to remove their handcuffs.

When all five friends are safe, run toward Lord Business to enter the next phase of the fight. Two replicators will appear, building skeleton robot minions. On the right replicator, climb up the agility netting with Wyldstyle.

Jump to the hand-holds, then bounce to the second pole to pull down an entire wall of cells. A section of the bricks explodes, revealing a broken blue sparking Lego object. Fix it with Emmet’s wrench!

The cells lower even more, and a wall slides open. Climb up the ladder with Benny and use the hacking computer. Finish the hack to take control of a skeleton robot.

These guys have a special ability – they can shoot lasers! Move to the left corner and melt the gold bricks with the skeleton bot’s laser. Now Metalbeard is free!

With Metalbeard’s cannon, you can start destroying these silver robot skeletons. Blast ten of them.

After 10 skeletons are gone, the Micro Manager Walker arrives and knocks Metalbeard out. To defeat this creature, throw Vitruvius’ staff into the sockets where the legs meet the body.

Once the staff is in place, jump to it with Wyldstyle. Pull out both sockets, and the walker will reveal a golden claw. Switch to the skeleton robot and melt the gold claw with his laser beam.

With the claw gone, a grapple point appears on the front of the walker.

When the walker falls, drill through the cracked wall section with Emmet’s drill. Be quick, of the walker will get back up. Keep drilling to defeat the Micro Manager and end the level.

Level 12 – Broadcast News

Returning to Octan Tower, switch to Wyldstyle and look for the agility icon on the left side of the area. Jump up and climb the hand-holds until you’re underneath a rainbow Lego object.

When the object falls, it’ll break apart. Rebuild the hopping rainbow bricks with Unikitty to create a springboard. Ride it with Batman, Benny, or Wyldstyle so they can flip the generic switch up top.

Flipping the switch opens the door below, revealing a shiny grapple point. Use Batman’s targeted grapple gun to pull it, opening the second door on the right.

Use the hacking computer through the second door with Benny. Completing the minigame will start the next level.

In this level, the group needs to commandeer the cameras to send out a message to the world. Take out the first wave of SWAT robots, and you’ll be in control of the sound effects board.

The massive control pad presents three images. Press each matching image in order to complete the puzzle. Complete the sequence three times.

More SWAT robots drop down. Deal with them, then get to work setting up two cameras, three ceiling lights, and one microphone.

Crank the camera right outside the family room set to complete the first. Next, shoot the target on the camera above the set. Use Benny’s gun or Batman’s batarangs.

To place the microphone, smash the clothing rack made of rainbow Lego bricks with Unikitty, then construct the pieces. That’s three objects set, three more to go.

Next, smash the red/white Lego objects holding up the right side of the set wall. Destroying all of them will topple the wall, allowing you to push the camera across the tracks to the green zone in the left. Once its in place, crank camera to get it into place.

In the back right corner of the area, jump to the nets with Wyldstyle from the agility icon. Climb left on the netting to reach the catwalks above the set.

On the catwalks, push each of the two objects on the floor tracks. Five more SWAT robots will rush the set – destroy them!

After the robots, defeat the flying Micro Manager with a batarang to the eye with Batman, then tug the grapple point on its back. Construct the bricks to create a laser on the track floor.

Push the laser left to cut through the line of gold bricks. The window and wall will explode once all the gold bricks are melted. Enter the control room and use the hacking computer inside.

When the cutscene ends, Good Cop will join your team. Hold down attack to shoot through the gold bricks on the left and right back corner of the set.

Construct the Lego bricks on the right after melting the gold, and push the back wall to the right. Why? There’s a hidden red handle behind the wall. Grab it, and bring it to the crank on the left to lift the entire backdrop.

Fight through the SWAT robots and melt the gold doors with Good Cop’s laser to reach another massive hangar.

Metalbeard joins the crew! Switch to him, and move forward to find the large, cracked, and sparking blue Lego machine. Instead of fixing it, Metalbeard can smash it.

Metalbeard throws the server across the room. Unfortunately, the giant pirate can’t get down there himself. Switch to Good Cop and run down the stairs. Blast the exposed gold Lego and stun the jetpack robot – now a Master Builder can use the green icon to construct the first section of Benny’s spaceship.

Once the first spaceship section is complete, you’ll be able to climb up onto the platform on the left where there’s a second cracked Lego server. Only Metalbeard can destroy these, so we’ll need to figure out a way to get Metalbeard across.

Watch out for flying Micro Managers! Don’t worry, one shot from Metalbeard’s cannon can destroy these bad guys. When they’re all defeated, use the hacking computer with Benny in the left corner.

Completing the hack extends the bridge so Metalbeard can get to the server. You know what to do – bring Metalbeard to the server, and smash it.

Once again, the chunks of server will fly across the screen. Get down there, melt the gold with Good Cop’s laser, stun the jetpack guy, and use the Master Builder icon to finish another section of the ship.

The path to the last cracked server is open. Jump up there, run to the back corner, and use the hacking computer with Benny after destroying all three Micro Managers.

Metalbeard throws the last chunk of Lego server to the ground. Jump down, and use the last Master Build icon to finish the spaceship and make your escape.

Level 13 – Back From Reality

Follow the green studs to the construction vehicle. Smash it up, then construct the rainbow bricks into a springboard, which launches you into the next level.

You start with Emmet and a fireman. There’s a Master Builder icon here, but you won’t be able to use it until Emmet drills through the cracked floor. After his trip to reality, Emmet can now use Master Builder spots.

Completing the Master Build removes the junk from the pool of water. Now the fireman can refill his water tank and spray water to put out the fires to the right.

In the next area, you’ll have to deal with a new type of Micro Managers. These wheeled mini Micro Managers can’t be defeated in any normal way.

Use Emmet to drill through the cracked floors to create a giant pit in the center of the construction zone. Now, stand in front of the Micro Managers to lure them into a charge so that they fall into the pit.

Once both Micro Managers are defeated, the lady construction worker will join your team. Gail can jump high like Wyldstyle, so keep an eye out for agility (purple/blue) Lego icons and bricks.

With Gail, jump to the high hand-hold in the back right corner. Pulling the switch dumps trash on the flying Micro Manager, opening the path forward.

At the crater site, even more robots will arrive from their dropship. Move right and drill through the truck to create a pool of water.

Now the fireman can fill his water tank and put out the fires on the stairs. Once the fires are you, you’ll be able to hop onto the big blue conveyor belt and continue right. Just don’t get caught up on the Lego junk in your way.

At the end of the path, climb the agility netting to enter the construction site with Gail, then punch the ladder to the left so the boys can climb up.

Punch the water cooler in the back right corner (next to the gold bricks) to create a pool of water. Fill up the fireman’s extinguisher and put out the fires on the stairs.

Up top, defeat the robots and hide behind the gold column. The Micro Managers will melt the gold Lego column while you’re hiding. Now, use the Master Build icon with Emmet.

He builds a double catapult! Crank it up to destroy both Micro Managers.

The skyscraper topples over, leaving the minifigures in a side-ways tower. Use Emmet’s wrench to fix the blue sparking machine, then jump into the elevator shaft and push the broken elevator to the right.

In the following room, climb the wall with Gail to enter a ruined bathroom. Keep going up, and smash the toilet at the top to create a pool of water down where Emmet and the fireman are.

Fill the fireman’s extinguisher and put out the fire to the right to exit the ruins.

Fight across the bridge and deal with the robots before moving left and drilling through the cracked wall with Emmet. The water dumps out and creates a pool.

Use the fireman to put out the fires on the right, then fix the lift with Emmet’s wrench. Ride the lift up and drill through the wall cracks.

Doing that releases the wrecking ball, destroying the Micro Manager. To the left of the (former) manager, use Gail to jump onto the crane and turn the crank to lower the entire thing.

Continue by putting out the fires on the left side of the screen to discover a hidden valve. Grab it and take it to the socket – the pointer will lead you to the right spot.

Turn the crank to fill the sunken section with concrete, creating a track floor. Now you can push the construction vehicle down the track to the right.

That’s all you need. Now Emmet can use the Master Build icon on the raised platform. Use it to finish the level.

Level 14 – Bricksburg Under Attack

To escape the crater, just use Emmet with the Master Builder icon, then run toward the massive mech.

In the level proper, Emmet is in control of the Construction Mech, while Superman joins him. Crush the puny Micro Managers on your way down the street, until a giant tentacle blocks the road.

Switch to Superman and use his laser eyes to melt the gold bricks on the side of the red tentacle. Once it’s cut through, an Octan tanker will fall from the top of a building.

Use Emmet’s Mech to lift the green/white Octan tanker and target the exposed section of the red tentacle to destroy it, clearing the way forward.

Moving onto the Bricksburg Streets map, Superman will leave, but Green Lantern will take his place. Down the road, there’s another massive tentacle blocking the way. Smash the truck to reveal glowing green bricks.

Only Green Lantern can build with those! Construct the green hopping Lego pieces to punch a hole in the red tentacle. Then, pick up the wrecked truck with Emmet’s Mech and target the open tentacle.

With the tentacle destroyed, you’ll switch perspective to Wyldstyle, Benny, and Wonder Woman. Our superheroine has all the same abilities as Batman – she can pull grapple points with her lasso and throw her tiara.

Destroy both flying Micro Managers with Wonder Woman to rescue the plumbing truck. A Master Builder icon will appear. Use all the glowing pieces in the plumbing truck to complete the build.

The truck will fly away, and shoot three plungers into the wall nearby. Use the plungers like twirl poles to reach the agility hand-holds up high.

Jump onto the antennae to pull it down, then construct the hopping bricks into a hacking computer that Benny can use.

Hack all three nodes to take control of a robot with a rocket launcher. Target the silver Lego bricks on the red tentacle.

Now Emmet can lift the second half of the truck and throw it at the cracked section of the red tentacle, completely destroying it. With the path now clear, Emmet can rush into the final showdown with Lord Business.

Level 15 – The Final Showdown

To start the last level, just lift up the giant Lego box with Emmet’s Mech and throw it at the huge target.

This is it. It’s just Emmet (and his Mech) with berserker Unikitty versus Lord Business’ enormous Micro Manager.

Defeat both walking Micro Managers and the three fliers. The Mech can make easy work of them. When they’re destroyed, switch to Unikitty and hold her interaction button [B / Circle] to fire a laser beam, melting the gold panels on the giant Micro Manager’s back.

Watch out! The giant Micro Manager fires swarms of missiles. When you see five red circles appear on the ground, move out of the way.

Destroy enough gold panels, and Lord Business will summon three more walkers. Crush them, along with five wheeled Micro Managers, along with three more fliers.

When the Micro Managers are defeated, Lord Business’ robot will spin around and reveal his gold panels again. Use Unikitty’s beam attack to melt through the last gold panels.

Once all the gold panels are melted off, Gandalf will appear and knock a chunk of building down for Emmet to pick up. Switch to Emmet’s Mech and throw the giant chuck straight into the cracked core of Lord Business’ huge robot.

One hit weaker, Lord Business retreats to the rooftops. Emmet and Unikitty split up. On Emmet’s side, take out the flying Micro Managers until Lord Business turns to face him, leaving another array of golden Lego panels exposed.

Switch to Unikitty and melt off the gold panels! Melt enough, and Lord Business sends another wave of Micro Managers. Smash them up with Unikitty, then melt off the last gold panels.

With the panels off, the cracked side of the giant robot is exposed. A friendly magician appears and drops an Octan tanker for Emmet to throw. Do just that, and Lord Business will retreat to the top level of the rooftops.

Time to take on Lord Business mech-to-mech. Wait for the giant Micro Manager to rear back with one of its claws, then retreat. While the claw is stuck in the ground, hit it with regular attacks.

Destroy the Giant Micro Manager’s claw to sever it, letting Emmet lift it up and throw it right into robot’s face. Do it twice, then use Emmet’s grapple arm to pull the Giant Micro Manager down.

While the enormous robot is down, hit it with everything you’ve got! Just keep attacking, and you’ll finally bring Lord Business’ reign of terror to a halt.
