The fun doesn’t stop just yet. So you’ve clawed through the island to gather the 24 Gold Bricks already listed. Need a break? No, I didn’t think so. Continue reading to quickly locate the remaining bricks in the Open World format before taking on the Quests and Races in the following sections. Open World Manhattan Island: Part 2
• Destroy the obstructions in a back alley south east of Central Park as Thor and power up the electric panel with lightening to see the brick below.
• There is a blue box containing the brick near a shop front by the east coast of the island, destroy it and use Mr Fantastic to slide through the grate.
• Play as Wolverine and detect several dig spots half way along the east coast and follow the studs to track the next spot and the Gold Brick.
• There is a tunnel on one of the roofs half way along the east coast, use Ant-Man to get across it to the brick.
• A building south east of Central Park has five dirty spots on it, have a character with telekinesis clean it and reveal the Gold Brick.
• Find the large statue south of Central park surrounded by four smaller ones made of silver and gold, then attack them with Iron Man’s rockets and heat ray to get the Gold Brick.
• Play as Ant-Man to tread on the switches in a small tunnel south of Central park and collect the brick.
• Near the centre of the city there is a neon Lego-head sign up on a roof, have Black Widow creep into the greenhouse and activate the switch inside. You can receive the Gold Brick in front of the neon sign.
• Along the main road heading east there is a shop, which you need to open by making Thor charge the two electrical panels. Find the brick by using Magneto to activate the blue switch inside.
• There is an R/C car with a mallet near the coastal end of the main road heading east, smash other cars with it and a Gold Brick will appear.
• Fly up to the rooftop just south of the R/C car and you’ll find a green ringed course, complete the race to earn the brick.
• Four citizens need rescuing on the bridge coming off the east of the island, use Spider-Man and Iceman to save them and receive the Gold Brick.
• Melt the gold statue on a pillar in Times Square with heat rays to discover the Gold Brick.
• There is a locked shutter east of Times Square, which you need to open by breaking the gold lock with heat rays. The brick is behind the shutter.
• Have Thor charge two electric panels in the south west of the city to open a shutter and access the brick here. • Activate the six big character switches south east of Times Square, in 29 seconds, to reveal the brick on the roof.
• There is a small maze south of Times Square. Turn the two blocks in the maze with a telekinetic character to unlock the Gold Brick.
• Solve the three wall puzzles on a roof in the south east area of the island to earn the brick in the blue box.
• As a character with heat ray abilities, cut out a golden ‘M’ from the back of an air conditioner south of the island. Use Venom to then slip through the symbiotic ooze to get the Gold Brick.
• Playing the mini-game south of the island, in which you hit cars, to gain a brick.
• Walk into the beam of light in the very southern open area of the island to summon a Sentinel. Take off its chest plate with an explosive attack, heat ray and Thor’s hammer. Receive the Gold Brick along with gold studs as your reward.
• Play as Ant-Man to get through the tiny maze on the island south of Manhattan Island and pull the switches to free your route from electrical gates.
• Destroy what obstructs Shield’s Hellicarrier fans on the island east of Manhattan Island, and then have Thor electrify the adjacent panel to uncover the Gold Brick.
• Whilst on the eastern island, attack the alien ships from the missile turrets on the east side of the Hellicarrier to earn the brick.
• Defeat more alien ships with the laser cannon on the other side of the Hellicarrier; keep going until you receive the Gold Brick.
