Not only does Lego’s Marvel Superheroes game allow you to collect characters, it also puts your array of character abilities to the test by having you collect the highly coveted Gold Bricks. Open World Manhattan Island: Part 1
• There are bushes east of the greenhouse on the north beach, smash one in the middle then use Sandman to teleport through and grab the brick.
• Destroy the vent above the dumpster on the side of X-Mansion, use Magneto to pull switch.
• Destroy silver statue of Wolverine in the X-Mansion courtyard.
• Solve the puzzle on the south side of X-Mansion, brick then appears in front of the mansion.
• Use Iceman to stop four fires on the side and top of a building which is between the central and right streets south of the X-Mansion. Saving four people causes brick to appear.
• Use Thor to energise three electrical panels on a building by the island edge north of Central Park. One of the panels is on top, another is on side and there is another under plant growth and finally there is one below the building near the water.
• There is a basketball court near the North West corner of the main city, use a super-strong character to throw two basketballs into the hoops, shattering them shows the brick.
• In the north western corner of the main city, just before the road bends to the east, use character with claws to dig into a small recess on the ground near the Gold brick and use Sandman to teleport through the ground to the brick.
• Have a large character activate the switch on the ground in the northern edge of the city, then run around the corner to get the Gold Brick in the blue box on the wall.
• Smash seven red cars on top of the parking deck in the north of the city to find the brick. o In the same parking deck at the previous Gold Brick Location, go underground then following the blue wire head up the parking deck until you reach the top. Hit the switch with Captain America’s shield and make your way back down the parking deck to collect the Gold Brick that was behind a laser wall.
• Melt the Gold door in the next street north of Central Park, and then use the claw switch to get the Gold Brick on the roof.
• Climb to the roof of the building behind those along the right northern side of Central Park, then using a character with the stealth ability, pull the switch in the small hatch. Following that, get down to the ground and collect the brick in the shop.
• Go down the small alleyway north east of Central Park and attack the two silver fans blocking you from the brick.
• Walk behind the chain fence in the north west of the city and have Mr. Fantastic slide through the grate on the floor. Then activate the switch to disable the lasers concealing the Gold Brick.
• Search of a spider-sense area near a pillar in Central Park and use Spider-Man to uncover it, then have a clawed character follow the stud trail until you reach the brick.
• There is a fountain in Central Park surrounded by bushes, cut them within the time limit to win the brick.
• Play as Black Widow to activate the switch on the wall of a building west of Central Park and use her abilities of stealth and agility to get to the Gold brick on the upper platform.
• Melt the ice covering a grate Mr. Fantastic can get through as character with fire ability to access the Gold Brick in the greenhouse south west of Central Park.
• As Agent Coulson, blow up the crates with the Shield emblem on them along the west coast of the island to reveal a spider-sense location and use Spiderman to discover the box holding the brick.
• Open the grey door opposite the west coast with a strong character and go downstairs to beat up some Octo-bots to reveal the Gold Brick.
• Using Iceman, extinguish fires to find the brick in the Skate Park.
• On the bridge south of Central Park, hit the targets that appear when standing on the switch overlooking the street below and a brick will appear.
• Activate the switch on a roof east of Central Park to uncover a pattern in the room lights in the building. Step on the switches in the set combination of top, right, left then centre to discover the brick.
