Killzone Shadow Fall Weapons and Class Guide

Fighting your way through the Killzone Shadow Fall game can be very challenging, particularly if you’re not using the best or most appropriate weapons on offer. Read the following weapons loadout for the assault, support and scout classes of the latest Killzone game, achieve your best stats and shoot your way to victory.

The Assault class

Playing Killzone Shadow Fall in this mode will require players to take an offensive approach to gameplay. It is no surprise then, that assault rifles, pistols and sub-machine guns can be seen in the list of weapons for the assault class. The recommended weapon for play in the assault class can only be the M55 Rumbler.

As an all-rounder, this weapon will serve players well as they head into combat. The M55 has a particular strength in its accuracy, aided by the lack of a recoil issue. This rifle carries 30 rounds and requires 4 shots to kill, or a single headshot, making it an effective killing machine. It won’t take players long to overcome enemies as the M55 fires 515 rounds per minutes when fired automatically and has a respectful reload time of 2.5 seconds. Every fighter has experienced having many enemies at once, with the M55’s attachment HE Grenade this will not be an issue for players looking to take them all out. To maximise accuracy in combat, use the M55’s VSA ACOG Sight attachment for a 1.6x zoom and spend your time mowing down new opponents instead of aiming at them.

The Support class

For a more versatile gameplay of offensive and defensive requirements, players may opt for the support class of Killzone Shadow Fall. To be successful in this class of the game players need weapons that can do more than merely go in and blow the place apart. This is why the VC30 Sickle shotgun is being suggested from the range of Killzone Shadow Fall support class weapons.

The VC30 Sickle is a unique weapon with its dual barrel and magazine, allowing it to carry two different types of ammunition. This is a great advantage to players when considering the VC30 Sickle’s Incendiary Rounds attachment. Players are able to fire shells with act like dragons breath and set enemies alight, causing constant damage to them. Even without this attachment, the VC30 Sickle has high O.H.K potential and causes great damage as a consolation. The defensive element of the support class is needed for reloading the weapon, the 7.5 seconds required leaves players at risk when heading an attack. Sadly this could be often as the weapon holds 10 shells, unless it contains two types of ammunition, which reduces the count to 5. The VC30 Sickle can be lethal in offensive play when placed in the right hands, but cannot be constantly deadly, thus useful to the support class players.

The Scout class

The key to a scout class game in Killzone Shadow Fall is stealth. The subtler and more accurately a player can take out their enemies, the better according to this class. Thus the weapon of choice is a sniper rifle, the LS70 Fors in particular.

Needing to perform long distance kills is a common occurrence for the scout class and what better weapon could do that than a rifle which achieves O.H.K. Unless players are accurate enough to shoot enemies in the hand or foot, the LS70 Fors is a deadly scout weapon. To enhance the stealth of this weapon, players can use the Silencer attachment which lowers the LS70 Fors’ audio signature for an even quieter kill. Accuracy should not even be question when considering this weapon, an optical attachment named the X4/X10 Scope allows players to switch between 4x and 10x zoom, ensuring every detail is seen. The stealthiest scouts should carry a LS70 Fors, its O.H.K ability is enough to keep the enemy looking over their shoulders.
