If you’re here to seek out the heavy armor with gallons of poise that looks oh so familiar to that previously sported by Havel the Rock, the poor bishop who was locked in the watchtower in Undead Burg back in Dark Souls I, then you’re in the right place. Follow on as we walk you through the Dark Souls 2 Havel’s Armor Location …
Dark Souls 2 Forgotten Key Location
The forgotten key will grant you access to the locked door containing the Havel’s Armor Set in The Gutter. To discover this key, you will first need to have completed the Pilgrims of Dark side quest, afterwards head to the hidden chamber bonfire in the Black Gulch, found by exploring the ledge located to the right of the Rotten’s arena entrance. Head back to the ledge, which over looks a deep pit, and follow the ledge until you spot a platform beneath you. Drop down two lower platforms and a cave entrance will come into your field of vision, enter and defeat two giants hidden inside to earn yourself the required forgotten key.
TIP: Check the back of the cave before exiting, as you’re able to collect a Fragrant Branch of Yore from a hidden treasure chest.

How to find Havel’s Armor Set
Begin at the first bonfire located in the gutter and leap downwards to a rickety building and climb up the ladder towards the cave. Enter this dark cave, fight off the poison-firing enemies and open the forgotten door with your newly acquired forgotten key. Watch out, there are more poisonous figures inside! Towards the back, a black vase can be found, smash it open and collect one of the most heavy armor sets in Dark Souls 2 – Havel’s Armor.
