Bungie's latest release, Destiny includes lots of collectibles in addition to the action packed first person shooting gameplay. Our favorite so far are the gold loot chests as they don’t just unlock an achievement but they also offer instant gratification by providing the hidden rare loot that is contained within. This article aims to help you locate these gold crates and also get special hidden loot along the way. There are five Gold loot chests in each area, and these areas are the Earth, Moon, Mars, Venus and the Tower. Follow our guide and you will be able to find all of the chests in each area:
Venus:
1. Shattered Coast to Ishtar Academy
To grab this chest you need to fall through the hole in the shattered coast area and then head towards the Ishtar Academy. Once you come to a bend in the path, look back in the direction you came from and you will find a Gold chest by a pillar.
2. Campus 9
Enter campus 9 from the Walking Ruins and head to the building closest to the waterfall. If you go to the other side of it you will find the next gold chest.
3. N/Gen Branch
Head towards the N/Gen Branch from the direction of the Ishtar Commons. Once you enter the N/Gen Branch area go right anf enter the build full of cubicles. If you look around inside you will find the next Gold Loot Chest.
4. Winter’s Lair
Walk alongside the trail that you find outside the big cave until you come to an overlook point. Continue onwards and then jump over to reach the next chest, which is located on your right hand side on one of the ledges.
5. The Cinders
Fight your way onto the Ketch ship and head to the far end from the entrance. Get onto the ledge that’s below you and you will see the last loot chest.
