How To Duplicate Stacked Items With Dogmeat In Fallout 4

How To Duplicate Stacked Items With Dogmeat In Fallout 4 Posted on December 8, 2015, 4:34 pm By Guest/Staff Fallout 4

The latest glitch including Dogmeat and duplicating stackable items works on PC, Xbox One and PS4; and this glitch works even after patch 1.02 for Fallout 4. Still requiring the timing technique with Dogmeat, if done correctly, you will be able to duplicate multiple items and get double the amount from one stack.

Wastelanders may find themselves burning through materials quite fast, and might find that the Dogmeat glitch takes too long trying to duplicate items that aren’t stacked. However, there is a new glitch that allows players to duplicate items that they need quickly, and as a whole, so that the process goes by much faster.

Most players should know that you can throw down items in a stackable form, well you will need to find a good place that you can do the Dogmeat glitch but with the stackable items that you want duplicated. Have Dogmeat stand in front of you, but close enough so that he will walk towards you, as he picks the item you want up you will pick it up too. Shortly afterwards, Dogmeat will drop the item but as one.

From here you will need to drop your original stack of ammo near the one Dogmeat dropped, this will convert the one item to being the same amount as the one you just dropped near Dogmeat’s. At this point, quick-save the game, quit and re-enter from the quick-save point. Once you re-enter from the game loading, you will be able to pick up the single item from the ground being duplicated.

Looking back, if you didn’t quick-save and quit you will only be able to pick up one item that Dogmeat had dropped after the duplication glitch. To further clarify this, the item that Dogmeat drops will say that it is duplicated but in reality it isn’t. To glitch the item, you will need to quick-save and quit and re-enter for it to override the number displaying the amount you want but actually gives you one, so that you get the amount from the item you dropped.

If all of the above sounded too confusing and seemed like it wasn’t making any sense, you can watch Outside The Box perform the glitch as seen below.

There are two things worth noting, the first is if you reach over 60,000 of that stackable item your game will crash. Second, this glitch still works after the latest patch or update for the game. so anyone in need of duplicated stackable items will still be in luck even after the update.
