You can’t miss this one. It's right before the many moving platforms at the level's end.
Early in the level, you'll see two touch platforms under some bricks. Touch the right one - notice the hole underneath? Drop in to find a hidden chamber where you can touch another platform to reach a stamp.
When you reach the wall of touch platforms, keep left. Wall jump into the nook to reach the star up here.
Before hopping off the trio of blow platforms, hop to the left one and ride to the cloud. This will launch you to a secret area. Dash through this course to find a star at its end.

From the start of the level, head right to find a Mario switch. Use Mario to hit it and reveal stamp.
You'll need a Cat Suit for this. Ride the first clear pipe, then scramble up the wall to find this star on a higher ledge.
When you enter the underground area, look for this warp pipe along the path. Take it to a secret area, then get moving. Every tile in here needs to be stepped on before the music stops. Do this, and you'll receive a star.
When you reach the three wooden wheels, drop between them. There's a secret area down here with a star.
Simply take out the Galoombas to earn a star.
Destroy the crates near the clear pipe to reveal a star.
As you leave the tunnel, be sure to hit both tiles to reveal another star.
You need a Cat Suit for this. When you reach the multicolored hills, move to the back left corner. Use a Double Cherry clone to hit the leftmost question mark brick and reveal a brick above. Keep hitting the question mark to create a whole column of bricks. Use a clone to quickly scramble up this column to reach a stamp.
If you have at least four Double Cherry clones left by the level's end, hop onto the elevator tile. It will rise up to another star.

The next star is inside the first box on the second caravan.
This will float by during the second caravan. Quickly break the boxes to reach the platform where it rests.

Enter the tent from the map to find a stamp inside.
Shortly into the level, you'll encounter this group of flying enemies. Take them out to access the small nook they were covering - there's a star inside.
Right after the large icy area with the three Skating Goombas, you'll spot a rabbit. Catch him to earn another star.
You can't miss this one just before the warp pipe, but it can still be tricky to grab. Be careful walking the narrow icy path to your prize.
You'll need to wear the Propeller Block through the whole course to get this. Just before heading through the warp pipe, propel yourself into the air to spot the level's last star in a tiny alcove.
You'll spot this overhead while moving through the course. Use a Cat Suit to scramble up the moving chain-link, or alternatively, use a wall jump to reach the star.
Just before using the warp box, jump to the clouds to your right for another star. It's a tough jump, so a Cat Suit or Tanooki Suit may help.
Just past the checkpoint, there will be a blue wall on your left. Use a Cat Suit to scramble up it and reach the stamp above.
Immediately above that same blue wall is a cat paw gear. Swipe it a few times with the Cat Suit to temporarily raise a wooden platform to your right. Quickly hop over there and scramble up the platform to reach the level's last star.
When you reach the dual staircases, take the upper one. Hop into the Boo painting to reach a secret, rotating room. Grab the star inside before time runs out.
Continue to your right on the upper floor. Jump onto the couch up here, and it will raise you to the stamp.
Inside the library, make your way up the shifting bookcases to the upper left. From here, start dropping onto the platforms as they retract. A star will be revealed when you reach the bottom left bookcase.
Before heading through the last purple door, jump onto the couch to the right. This will take you to an upper ledge with a warp pipe. Jump in, and it will burst into a group of Boos…and a star!
Turn around at start of the level to spot this.
When you reach the pond with coins moving through it, you'll spot a rabbit. Catch him to earn a star.
Immediately after, you'll cross some rotating platforms with Piranha Plants. Hop across the platforms on the left to find a Peach Switch. Use Peach to hit it and reveal a stamp.
Just before the level's end is a cloud. Bounce off of a Goomba to reach it and be launched to a secret area. Dash through to find a star at the end of the course.
Simply take out the Magikoopas to earn this star.
Before heading through the clear pipe by the red arrow, swim up to find a star inside a small grotto.
After the long clear pipeline, you'll be in a second watery area. Swim up from the red arrow to find a hidden area. Use the rising tide or wall jumps to reach the ledge where a stamp sits.
Grab the Bomb Box from the opposite ledge and descend to the sunken ship. See the cracked wall to the left? Use the Bomb Box to break through and reveal a warp pipe. In here is a secret area with tons of coins, bonus time, and a star.
Just after the sunken ship, you'll reach three stacks of Spiny Cheep Cheeps. Carefully swim into the tunnel on the far right, then swim straight up to find a secret area. Take a right and ride the tide to another star.
When the path splits, take the lower one. Across the falling platforms is the level's first star.
Right after the steep hill past the checkpoint, look for this group of flying enemies - they're patrolling a mystery box. Hop inside, and you'll have 10 seconds to catch a rabbit. Do it to earn a star.
After leaping the gaps with rows of coins, make sure you hit this jump pad. Doing so will bounce you up to a stamp.
Just beyond is the level's biggest jump. Hit it hard and with a lot of speed to get lots of airtime and reach this high altitude star. You may want a Tanooki Suit to make the jump a little easier.
As you head down the first big slope on a switchboard, jump to the walkway above. Use the warp pipe to reach a secret area behind the falls. As you descend in this area, stick to the path of coins to grab a star on the way down.
When you drop to the switchboard right of a waterfall, press left and duck. You'll skirt under the ledge and reach the star beyond.
During the final set of switchboards, you'll drop to a lower railing. Keep pressing right, and jump over the enemy that rolls toward you. At the top of this slope is another star.
Now ride the switchboard to the left, and jump to the lowest switchboard you see. Ride this to the end of its track to find a stamp.
Hop into the water to grab this from the corner.
Head through the little space in the water, then enter the clear pipe. Bear right to reach the upper right ledge where a star sits.
Return to the clear pipe and take the other path. Follow the ledges up here as they wind around, then drop onto the green walkway. Follow it to grab another star.
Hop into the clear pipe, then drop into the hole on the other side. The switch here raises the water, bringing wooden planks with it. You can now reach the star just outside of your current position.
Now simply follow the raised planks and head up the slope to the final star.
As soon as you arrive, catch up to the train and jump to the rear ledge to grab this.
Shortly onto the train, a stack of Goombas with a star on top will approach. Take them out to grab the star.
Use the warp pipe to reach the other train. Break the box near the engine to free a Toad. He'll give you a star as thanks.
Back on the first train, approach the engine and drop to the lower ledge. Take out the Fire Bro. to reach the stamp he was guarding.
Defeat Hisstocrat to earn this.
Inside the tunnel, you'll come a ledge swarming with Ant Troopers. Use the Cat Suit to claw your way through them and grab the stamp above.
Use a Cat Suit to scramble up the ledge immediately outside of the tunnel. There's a star up there.
When you encounter the Giant Ant Troopers, use one to bounce to the nearby warp pipe. Once you arrive at the secret area, bounce up the Ant Troopers, or alternatively, scramble up the wall with the Cat Suit to grab the star above.
When riding the Giant Ant Troopers across the long spiky path, get a good bounce near the star to reach it.
Enter the mystery box near the start of the tunnel. Inside, you'll get 10 seconds to bounce up some sleeping Piranha Creepers to a high ledge with a star. You can do it!
When you reach the water, descend past the Piranha Creepers to find a deep star.
Just past said water is a Piranha Creeper that extends from a suspicious ledge. Bounce off his head to reach a hidden path with many coins and, at its end, a stamp.
As you cross the poison purple water, you'll spot a hollow green star. Hit it to spawn eight green coins. Collect them all before time runs out to earn a star.
Defeat the Brolders by stunning them, then tossing them into the lava. You'll get a star for defeating them all.
Take the left path when you reach the Boomerang Bros. It's tricky, but you'll have to grab the star when the beep blocks below it are active, then jump back before they disappear.
If you have at least four Double Cherry clones by the time you reach the checkpoint, you can use the elevator platform to ascend to the stamp. Alternatively, you can scramble up the wall with a Cat Suit.
After facing the second set of Boomerang Bros., hop into the nearby warp pipe. Make sure you have a few clones with you, or you won't be able to complete the challenge inside. Inside, hit the switch and collect all the blue coins before time runs out to earn a star. You'll need clones to collect them all.
Keep at least two clones while descending the beep block slide at the level's end. It's tricky, but if you do, you can hit the dual switches at the bottom of the slope and spawn a star.
When you ascend the first big platform, you'll encounter a trio of faux trampolines. Attack them, and one of the three will become a usable trampoline. Use this to reach the high ledge with the star.
If you have a Cat Suit, you can scramble up this wall just north of the checkpoint. Use it to reach a pair of bouncy pads that will take you to a star.
Up the very next tall ledge is a mystery box. Inside is another trio of those trampoline baddies and a star on a high ledge. You have 10 seconds to stun the right one and bounce to the star. We believe in you!
This stamp is hard to miss. It's in the final stretch of the level, surrounded by Para-Biddybuds. Bounce carefully to extract your prize.
At the start of the level, there will be a trio of Spikes near a wall. Use a Cat Suit to scramble up this wall, then look to its end for a stamp.
Use the warp pipe at the top of the first slope to reach a hidden area. In here, you'll have to tap all the question mark tiles while dodging attacks from four Spikes. Do so to earn a star.
Once you climb the long hill with the trio of Spikes at the top, hop to the rounded walls to your left. Use the Cat Suit to scramble up the tall one, then follow it to find another star.
When you reach the section with many tilting platforms, you'll spot this star just slightly off the main path. Carefully jump to it to finish off this course's star collection.
Take out all the Fire Bros. before time runs out to earn this.
Enter this tent from the map to find a stamp inside.
This is another series of quick challenges. For the first one, you have to hop up several jump pads before time runs out.
For the second challenge, you have to rush past some Spiny Ant Troopers.
In challenge three, you have to run from a Giant Bullet Bill. Watch out for boxes!
Challenge four involves running a gauntlet of Spikes.
Challenge five isn't too bad. Just dash across the narrow walkway.
Hit the turbo in challenge six and keep dashing. Dash past the falling Thwomps and leap to the star.
The seventh challenge is pretty tame. Hop across the swinging platforms to your prize.
Ignore the Goombas in challenge eight and head straight for the star.
The Cat Suit Bullet Bills are a pain in challenge nine. Move quickly along the narrow walkway, and you should be able to avoid them without too much trouble.
The final challenge is, appropriately enough, the toughest. Keep moving, and time your jumps carefully to avoid the Spikes' rollers.
At the start of the level, stun a Brolder and toss it onto one of the two tiles. Stand on the other to make a bridge fall, giving you access to a star.
After exiting the clear pipe, enter the mystery box. Inside, you'll have 10 seconds to activate three tiles. Quickly stun the pair of Brolders and toss them onto two of the switches, then stand on the third to spawn a star.
Before moving on to the walkway, use a Cat Suit to scramble up the left side of the entryway. The second ledge up here holds a stamp.
You'll see a star floating above the lava to the left of the walkway. To get it, stun a Brolder and toss it into the star. This counts as collecting it.
At the start of the level are three Goomba sand sculptures. Destroy all three with ground pounds, Koopa shells, or your weapon of choice to earn a star.
This tricky star is actually in the water. Look along the northern edge of the level to spot a pit. Take a dive and use the warp pipe to reach a well hidden area. Hit all the tiles inside before the music stops to earn a star.
Past the second set of sand sculptures is a little alcove. Backflip into this to find Toad being chased by Billybuds. Take them out to save him and earn a star as thanks.
You can get this while riding Plessie. Just before the course ends, bear right to reach some wooden platforms. Hop across these to grab the stamp at the end.
When grab onto the trapeze above the spiked roller, leap to your left to land on some clouds. There's a star on the ledge up here.
To the right of the wheel of Piranha Plants is a warp pipe. Head through and hit the blue switch. Collect the three series of blue coins that appear to spawn a star.
This is on the left side of the stepped platforms immediately after the wheel of Piranha Plants.
After riding through the clear pipe, you'll come to a hollow green star by series of trapezes. Hit the star to spawn eight green coins, then quickly traverse the trapezes to collect them and earn a star.
There's a cracked tile to the left of the level's start. Ground pound it to reveal a star.
To get this, you'll need to create Double Cherry four clones from the question mark bricks.
There's a Toad switch on the right side of the course. Use Toad to hit it and spawn a stamp.
Take three Double Cherry clones to the three-man platform in the middle of the level to reach this star.
You'll have to battle five Chargin' Chucks this time. Take them out to earn a star.
When you reach the first wall with multiple clear pipes, use a Cat Suit if you have one. Scramble up the left side of the wall to find a star in a little alcove. Be aware of the hidden bricks underneath it.
When you reach the titular savanna, you'll spot several rabbits in bushes in the middle of the area. Chase after the one with a green glow; catch him to earn a star.
On your way out of the savanna, stop by the parading Ant Troopers. Drop into the hole they are headed towards to reach a hidden area. The stamp trails behind a Giant Ant Trooper in here.
At the very end of the level are two rotating walkways and a hollow green star. Hit it to spawn eight green coins. Collect all eight to earn a star.
You'll come across a POW Block early in the level. Hit it with a Tanooki Tail Spin or a Bob-omb throw to destroy the purple bricks and reveal a star. Alternatively, you can just break through the bricks themselves.
Immediately after the checkpoint is a rabbit on a rotating platform. Chase him down to earn a star.
After the rabbit are two stacks of Goombas carrying bombs. Use a bomb to bust through the cracked wall nearby, then use the other to hit the POW Block and reveal what was behind that wall: a stamp. Hop back and grab your prize.
When you ride the last clear pipe, bear down to hit the lower path and reach a cloud that launches you to a secret area (you can also use the Tanooki Suit to hover jump to the cloud). In the secret area, step on all the tiles before the music ends to earn a star.
This path opens up once you've cleared World 5-5. Enter the tent to claim your prize.
You can reach this by examining the ground left of World 5-5. Take the warp pipe that spawns to get there. Once there, take out the Fire Bro. riding the Goomba stack to earn a star.
When you reach the first big section of flip panels, time your jumps so that you have a blue panel in the upper left corner. There's a star here.
Take out the Piranha Plant just past the checkpoint and use his warp pipe. In this hidden area, you have to guide the green ball to the tile on the bottom left. Use your jumps in conjunction with the flip panels to make it work, and you'll earn a star for your efforts.
After the secret area, you'll come to two rows of flips panels. Hit the hollow green star in the top left to spawn eight green coins. Use your jumps carefully to collect them along the flip panels, and you'll receive a star.
If you manage to bring at least two Double Cherry clones through the whole level, you can hop on the two-man platform at the end to reach a stamp.
The first star is pretty tricky to grab. When you reach the fourth faux trampoline, stun him and pick him up. Rush through the spotlight and avoid the Cat Suit Bullet Bills. Now you can safely use the trampoline to reach the star above.
The stamp is also tricky to grab. Immediately after the checkpoint, you'll see it above a row of bricks. Carefully jump up there and grab it before the searchlight spots you.
Just past the stamp is a cracked wall. Step into a searchlight to be swarmed by Cat Suit Bullet Bills. Lead one into the cracked wall to blow it away, revealing a mystery box. Inside, there will be a star atop some blocks and a constant barrage of Cat Suit Bullet Bills. Quickly and carefully grab the star to get out of there.
You'll find the last star while scaling the vertical wall at the level's end. Let yourself be seen by the searchlight, and lead the Cat Suit Bullet Bills into the big bricks to break through to your prize.
Start by heading through the first purple door. Use the touch platform to reach the first star on the ledge above.
Head down the slope and through the left door to reach the ledge above. Grab the star and enter the door on the right.
Drop from the ledge and follow the red platform. Touch the upper platform to move it forward, then drop into the dip it blocked. Step onto the first touch platform, then tap to raise yourself to the second. Hop to it, then tap to raise yourself to the walkway by the sliding platform. Step onto it and give it a touch to slide out into range of another star.
Ride the platform back, then step through the archway and round the corner. Time your walk between the ghosts to grab the star here.
Head up the hill and follow the path. When you hit the long stretch of falling platforms, a Big Boo appears. Stare at it to keep it from attacking you, then ride the falling platform down to the last star.
Early in the level, you'll come across a hollow green star. Hit it to spawn eight green coins. If you collect them all before they disappear, you'll earn a star.
When you reach the cart-wheeling spike squares, use a Cat Suit to scramble up the wall. There's a stamp on the ledge here.
The second star is found inside the last of the cart-wheeling spike squares. It will appear in the center of every other square, so just wait a moment if you miss it.
Before heading through the warp box at the end of this section, use a Cat Suit to scramble up the nearby wall. There's one last star up here.
There's a clear pipe on the lower end of the first cloud on the map. Use it to reach the tent, where you'll find another stamp inside.
When you reach the first set of pipes with some spikes inside, use the outer loop of the first set to collect the Invincibility Star. Use it to safely move through the spikes on the left side of the pipe series.
When your reach the pipes with groups of Fuzzies moving through them, you'll spot a star in the second pipeline. Time your entry to avoid the Fuzzies, then loop around the top to grab it.
Just after the checkpoint is a long clear pipe. Instead of riding, hop on top. Carefully run along it and jump to the higher section to find this well hidden stamp. You'll need a Cat Suit or a spin jump to reach this area.
After scaling the large vertical wall, you'll arrive at pipe with some spikes inside. If you have a Fire Flower, you can toss a fireball to destroy them, the hop in to reach the cloud above. This will launch you to a secret area, where a star lies at the end of the course.
When you come to the pair of Bullies, take them both out by knocking them off of the edge of the course. You'll get a star for slaying them both.
After entering the wreck, you'll see this above a platform with some circling ghosts. Use the changing tide while avoiding the ghosts to reach the platform and leap for the stamp.
Just a little further on are two question mark bricks. Hit the one on the right and grab the Invincibility Star that emerges. Use this to safely take out the circling ghosts below - there's a star inside the hole they where guarding.
This one's actually pretty easy to grab if you move carefully along the planks past the checkpoint. Watch out for the few Boos that spawn too!
There's a spot you can examine near World 6-2. Do so to reveal a warp pipe that takes you to World 6-B. Here, take out the pair of Hammer Bros., pair of Boomerang Bros., and single Fire Bro. before time runs out to earn a star.
When your each the first large set of doors past the Bowser gong, tap them open. Now tap the seemingly blank wall behind them to reveal some coins, two Galoombas, and a star.
When you reach the roof, you'll spot this floating over empty space. Head to the right side of the roof and hit the question mark bricks to discover that they actually Propeller Blocks. Grab one and use it to drop to the star, then safely propel back up.
You could propel to the roof and finish the course early now. Instead, collect all the keys to unlock the warp box and reach a hall with several Spikes. When you get here, you can actual move toward the camera to step outside the building. Bring a the Propeller Block or a Cat Suit, then scramble up to an awning out here. You can then jump to a cloud platform where the stamp awaits.
You could propel to the roof and finish the course early now. Instead, collect all the keys to unlock the warp box and reach a hall with several Spikes. Head to the end, but leap over the warp box here to find one last Bowser gong. Hit it to summon a mystery box. Leap inside to find yourself facing yet another Spike. Take him out before time runs out to earn star.
When your reach the first island, leave by the upper path. You'll probably need a Cat Suit to get there. Swing across the poison via the trapeze to land on a blue platform where the stamp sits.
If you take the lower path, you'll find this inside an isolated clear pipe. Just make sure the raft has moved far enough ahead that the pipe won't spit you out right into the poison!
Just past the checkpoint is a hollow green star. You'll need a Cat Suit to scramble to the upper level to reach it and spawn eight green coins. Grab them before time runs out to earn a star.
The level's last star is actually a long the wall before the warp box. Use a Cat Suit to scramble up to it.
To take our Prince Bully, you have to knock him into one of the pipe openings along the wall. This will compress him, and he'll pop out of another opening as a little cylinder, vulnerable to attack. Hit him three times in this state to defeat him and earn a star.
Jump onto the Skating Goomba near the beginning of the level to grab the Ice Skate. Skate out onto the spikes nearby to find this there.
Now head to the ledge above the spikes. By the second Ty-Foo is a pair of bricks with a hidden brick above them. Use these to reach the star in the air above.
Grab an Ice Skate from a Skating Goombas on the ice just past the checkpoint. Use it to cross the spikes to the left side of the area and reach a mystery box. Inside, you have ten seconds to grab another Ice Skate and move through the obstacle course. There's a star at the end.
The last star in the level is very tricky to grab. Jump when the wind is whipping, and it carries you over the star. Jump when the wind is clear, and you'll fall to your death. A few wisps appear in the pit just before the wind kicks up - jump when you see them to grab the star and be saved by the wind.
Using the Cat Suit, you can make your way to very top of the first base. There's a star waiting there.
When you reach the second base, scramble up the first wall to find a mystery box. Inside, you have ten seconds to grab a star hovering by a rotating wheel. Use the Cat Suit to quickly scramble your way there.
When you reach the set of four conveyor belts, use the Cat Suit to scramble up the one on the far left. Ride it up, then ride the next one to the right. This takes you to a ledge with a star.
The stamp is on the final platform overlooking the flagpole. You simply have to jump onto the row of bricks, then jump up to the stamps. If you happen to break the bricks, you can still reach the stamp with a spin jump from the raised ledge.
This is found early in the level. When you reach the first horizontal retracting platform, you'll spot it inside the dip.
You'll see this on the right side of the level just past the stamp. Use a ground pound to bust through the cloud and reach it.
When the stage starts scrolling to the right, you'll find this on the first seesaw.
At the final stretch of the stage are four pairs of horizontal retracting platforms. Use the jump pad to reach the space behind them - there's a star here.
You have ten seconds to complete each room's challenge. For the first, quickly chuck a baseball down the slope. The ball rolling into the star counts as picking it up.
Immediately jump once in the second room to flip the panel to red. Now grab a baseball and jump. As the panel flips to blue, chuck the ball into the star.
In room three, grab a baseball and use the jump pad. Move forward while doing this to practically dunk the basketball into the switch on the wall, summoning a star.
The fourth room is full of Para-Biddybudds. Use baseballs to hit the POW Blocks and clear them out. This spawns a star.
In the final room, there are three question mark tiles guarded by Thwomps. Quickly chuck baseballs at the three tiles when the Thwomps rise to summon a final star.
When this series of eight question mark bricks rolls by, toss a Bob-omb. This activates a series of platforms that will help you reach the star above.
When the path splits, grab a Bob-omb and run at the bottom right vehicle. Use the Bob-omb to destroy the big brick here, revealing a star.
When you reach the caravan with stacked coins, there will be a question mark brick on the left side of the vehicle. Smack it a few times (a Tanooki Suit tail works best) to extend additional bricks to the right. Use these to reach the star suspended in the air.
When the final vehicle rolls up, save a Bob-omb and throw it all the cracked Bowser wall behind the warp pipe. There's a stamp back here.
Defeat Motley Bossblob to receive this star.
The first star is pretty simple to grab; you'll spot inside a clear pipe. Avoid the Fire Bros. attacks while in the pipeline to claim your prize.
When you reach the two platforms with rotating flames, move to the second question mark block. If you ground pound this, it will become a tower of bricks, carrying you up to a previously unseen stamp.
Past the checkpoint are some Thwomps. Jump onto the clear pipe rather than hopping inside, and you'll be able to leap atop the Thwomp. Ride it to the top of the wall, where you'll find a warp pipe. Inside the hidden area, you'll have to guide a ball to the goal using flip panels. Be smart with your jumps, and you won't have much trouble.
Just past the Thwomps is a hollow green star. Hit it to spawn eight green coins. Grab them before time runs out, and you'll earn a star. To make this easier, hit the POW Blocks to get rid of the Wind-Up Soldiers.
After the second tile room, you'll reach a trio of Spiny and four unlit torches. Use a Fire Flower to light them and spawn a star.
Immediately after the checkpoint, look for this hidden tunnel. It leads to another star.
When you ride the platform over some lava, leap to the right. On this ledge is a stamp.
Before exiting the level through the warp pipe, hit the invisible block in the back of the room. From there, spin jump into the alcove above to find one more star,
The path splits a few times here. At the second fork, head right. Leap over the gap to grab the star.
After blasting from the clear pipe, you'll land near a hollow green star. Hit it to spawn eight green coins, then quickly collect them to spawn a star.
As you reach the final stretch of the level, bear left. When you reach the falling platforms, leap across the gap to nab the floating stamp.
Right after the stamp, leap to the center path. The star is between two rotating spike wheels.
This opens after completing World 7-3. Enter from the map to claim the stamp inside.
Before entering World 7-4, examine the rubble nearby to spawn a warp pipe. Take it to reach World 7-C. Enter, then take out the team of Fire Bros. before time runs out to spawn a star.
Early in the level, you'll come across a hollow green star; hit it to spawn eight green coins. Run clockwise along the blocks that rise to nab them all, spawning a star.
When you cross the large lava pit on rising platforms, you'll spot this to the side. Leap to it to claimyour prize.
Along the same path is a mystery box. Leap to it to reach a hidden area. Here, you'll have 10 seconds to defeat a Bully, spawning a star.
As you cross the rollers at the level's climax, stop at the fourth one. There's a smaller roller to its front where a star sits.
This is just a repeat of the Boss Brolder fight. Fight him just life before, but avoid his new rolling magma balls. Win the fight to earn a star.
Like 7-A, this is a repeat battle. Price Bully has a new trio of blue fireballs that chase you, but that's it. Beat him the same way as before to earn a star.
You'll find the first star very early in the level, but you'll need a Cat Suit. After riding the second set of yellow platforms, leap to the left ledge. Scramble up here to find the star.
This is literally directly above the first star. Scramble up the wall to grab it.
When you reach the top of the first tower, you'll encounter a trio of Magickoopas. Take them out to earn a star.
As you ascend the second tower, look for these bricks along the way. Smash through them and move through the tiny tunnel to find one last star.
Early in the level, you'll spot a line of crates. Bust through them to find a star.
Just after the warp pipe, lots of Rammerheads will cycle through a narrow canal. The star is inside one the bubbles on a Rammerhead's tail.
This one can be tough to get, as you have to keep a Fire Flower going throughout most of the course. When you reach the rotating pairs of Rammerheads, you'll see a clear pipe with spike balls and the last star. Throw a fireball through the pipe to destroy the spikes, then slide through to grab the star.
You'll find this at the final stretch of the level, where Rammerheads swim in columns. It's at the top of the second column. Navigate the moving rows of enemies to get there.
You'll see this early on in the level. Have the Boomerang Suit ready, then simply throw a boomerang at the star to nab it.
A little later on, you'll spot a hollow green star. Hit it to spawn eight green coins. If you can collect them all before time runs out, you'll receive a star.
This is under a grate just past the checkpoint. Rush down there and grab it while the lava level is going down, then quickly run back up to safe ground.
Stop at the large grey platform just past the stamp. When the lava goes down, there will be a path to the south you can take. Rush along it to safe ground where the star rests.
This level is all about timing. The first star is an alcove behind the first Thwomp. Slip back there when it's airborne to grab it.
When you ride a Thwomp to the next floor, look for this in the corner.
On the next level up, slide along the conveyor belt after the Bullet Bills have passed, and grab this in the corner.
This is atop the first Thwomp you encountered. Step onto his head while he's rising from below to grab it.
When you reach the top of the level, quickly run along the plank between Bullet Bills. Drop into the hole to reach the balcony where the last star lies.
Grabbing the first star is a pain; it lies just above the lave next to the spinning fire. You have to jump the gap, slide down the wall to grab it, then wall jump back before touching the deadly lava. Good luck!
Just beyond is a cannon firing soccer ball bombs. Kick one into the big bricks to reveal s switch - don't press it yet! First, use a Cat Suit to scramble up the walkway before you lower it; there's a star up there.
Now move to the alcove with the switch. Wall jump upwards to find a high altitude stamp.
After the checkpoint, you'll cross a narrow walkway. Halfway over it, you'll spot the last star floating over the lava. Use a toss with the Boomerang Suit to grab it.
Take a left from the Fire Bros. and carefully cross the spike bridges. Use a Cat Suit to scramble up the pillar at the end of the path to find a star on top.
Immediately after the checkpoint, you'll enter a warp box. On the other side, head left instead of the right way the sign is point. The stamp is at the end of this detour.
Now head the correct way along the spike bridge. When you reach the Fire Bros., take him out and use a Cat Suit to scramble up the pillar. Enter the mystery box here to find a secret area. In here, you'll have ten seconds to scramble over some walls, hit the switch, then grab the star it spawns.
When you reach the platform covered in Parabones, turn left. You'll have to traverse those spiked platforms to reach the end of the level anyway, but there's a star to be had. You'll have to grab it from the falling platform, then jump back to the spiked one before falling. You can do it!
The first star is hovering above the first part of the level. Bounce off of your enemies' heads to reach it.
After the big drop, continue through the snaking path. When you see a group of Para-Biddybuds, leap over them to snatch the star.
Just beyond the second star is a pair of Bowser sand sculptures. Pass right between them and keep moving straight - clouds will appear, guiding you to the stamp.
In the next section, you'll pass over some broken pieces of land. When you spot another Bowser sculpture, smash into it. This generates a star on the next sand mound.
After passing the Giant Piranha Plant, hop onto the next cog. Turn left and hop onto the cog behind you, then ride it up to spot the first star. It is possible to reach this with a jump, but a throw from the Boomerang Suit makes the job much easier.
Just after the clear pipe is a line of Spiny Ant Troopers. Grab the Boomerang Flower in their lineup, then take them out. Drop into the hole they were patrolling to grab the stamp.
Right after, you'll encounter two patrols of Spiny Ant Troopers. Use your Boomerang Suit to clear them out again, then drop through the holes they were guarding. Hop into the mystery box down here to enter a challenging secret room. Inside, you'll be atop a spinning wheel. Keep moving forward to stay aground, dodging the blocks and Piranha Plants that roll by. Keep an eye out for the star, then grab it as it flies by.
There's actually a platform behind the flagpole; use a long jump to reach it. You'll find lots of coins, bonus time, and rabbit there. Catch the rabbit to earn a star.
This is atop the very first train car you see. Hit the wide question mark block, then jump in the middle to hit an invisible block. Use this to reach the star.
Shortly after, you'll spot a hollow green star above some pendulous spikes. Hit it to spawn eight green coins; grab them before they disappear to earn a star.
When you reach the tall train car, you'll see the stamp on the roof. Don't worry about getting up there right now. Instead, head through the door into the train car. Ground pound the right question mark block to generate bricks that carry you right up to the stamp.
When you reach the front of the train, drop down to the lower ledge. Take out the Fire Bro. to nab the star behind him.
This level is quite tricky thanks to the semi-visible pathway mechanic. When you run past the Parabones, you'll see this floating in the air. Leap to it; a platform will appear underneath you.
As you cross the section with rolling spikes, you'll approach a hollow green star. Hit it to spawn eight green coins on the spikes' path. Grab them before time runs out to earn a star.
You'll come to a platform targeted by Cat Suit Bullet Bills. Leap to the right to land on an invisible platform. Up the invisible steps here is the stamp.
While navigating the same walkway with the Cat Suit Bullet Bills, look for a narrow path to the left. This leads to a mystery box; hop inside. In here, you'll have ten seconds to reach the star. The walkway is pretty broad, so quickly leap atop the Thwomp to reach your prize.
This unlocks after completing World 8-4. Enter from the map to claim the stamp inside.
This is found very close to the start of the level. When you ascend the narrow canal, ride the water up and over the spikes to grab it.
When you ascend the very next canal, use a Cat Suit to scramble up the left wall. There's a star in a hidden alcove up here.
After riding Plessie, use your Cat Suit to scramble up the walls you stop near. There's a star on a high ledge up here.
Instead of taking the green warp pipe to the end of the level, use your Cat Suit to scramble up the wall. The cloud up here will shoot you to a secret area. Dash through the course to grab the star at the end.
While riding the first moving platform, you can spot this Luigi switch. Have Luigi step on it to spawn a stamp.
Drop from the first moving platform and backtrack a bit. You'll see the star in the mirror; move toward the camera to grab it.
When your ride the second moving platform down the hallway of Bowser statues, leap to this mystery box on the right to enter a secret area. Inside, you have ten seconds to defeat several Boos with your Beam Box. Do it to receive a star.
The final star is at the end of the final hallway, guarded by a Giant Boo. If you still have a Beam Box, you can take him out and grab it easily. Otherwise, you can always lure him away, then dash in and grab the star when it's safe.
The moving blocks in this course are very challenging to navigate; we'll tell you that upfront. After the first drop, you'll pass a pillar with a star on it. Leap to the pillar to acquire it.
You'll want a Tanooki Suit for this. After the checkpoint, you'll ride a block down a lava ramp. At the end is pillar supporting a Hammer Bros. and a stamp. Leap onto your foe's head to safely grab the collectible.
After the second lava ramp, you'll spot a hollow green star along some platforms. Hit it to spawn eight green coins. Grab them before time runs out, and you'll earn another star.
This is found during the final stretch of the level. The block here will move length- and width-wise. When it's at its tallest, you can grab the star from above.
Motley Bossblob is back, and this time he causes shockwaves when he jumps. Keep this in mind, and take him down the same way as before to earn a star.
Hisstocrat has also come back for more, and this time, it's a lady boss. The other difference this time is a bunch of fireballs: she can spit them, and they rain down when she emerges from the ground. But just like the other boss, fight her the same way as before. You'll receive a star when she goes down.
This course is a series of timed climbing challenges using the Cat Suit. In the first room, immediately hit the question mark blocks to spawn some Super Bells. Grab them, then use your Cat Suit powers to scramble up the wall to the first star.
In the second room, quickly run through the narrow tunnel, then scramble to the upper floor where the star awaits.
You'll have to climb beep blocks to the third room's star. Time your jump right to make it up in time.
Room four is pretty straightforward. Dash across the bridge, then scramble up the wall to the star.
Room five is identical to room one, except this time, you have to climb to the very top. Move quickly to grab your prize in time.
Room six is identical room two, but with some added purple blocks. Scratch through these, then scramble up to the upper floor to claim your prize.
Room seven brings back the beep blocks. Thing is, the star is too high to scramble to in one go. You have to scramble up a beep block, get your energy back, then scramble up to the star within ten seconds.
Room eight is identical to room four, except the star has moved over the lava pit. You'll have to jump to the wall by the gap and scramble up to grab it.
Room nine is tough; it's like rooms six and two, but now filled with blocks. Scratch your way through, hitting the POW Block as fast as possible. With the blocks cleared, claim your star.
The final room is very straightforward, but still challenging. As you climb the stack of blocks, they will fall one by one. Move quickly to reach the last star on top.
While running across the rooftops in the fireball rain, look for a small rooftop below the left turn. The star is down there; there's also an invisible block to help you get back up.
You'll soon reach a ferris wheel with several Bullies. Defeat them all to spawn a star.
As you ascend the tower while being hounded by Cat Suit Bowser, you'll spot a hollow green star. Hit it to spawn eight green coins along the cloud platforms. Grab them before time runs out to receive a star.
This sits atop a tree at the very end of the level.
Look for a pair of bricks above the first set of rainbow rollers. Use a Cat Suit to scramble up the wall here and find a warp pipe. This leads to a secret area, where you have to manipulate switch panels to roll two balls to pressure pads. Do this to earn a star.
You can grab this while riding Plessie. It's among some gold rings on the right side of the track.
Immediately after riding Plessie, you'll disembark near two unlit torches. Hit the invisible block on the left side of the platform for a Fire Flower, then light the torches to reveal a cloud that blasts you to a secret area. Step on all the colored blocks here before the music times out to create an eight-bit Link, then claim your star prize.
Also after riding Plessie, you'll hop off near a hollow green star. Hit it to spawn eight green coins; collect them in time to receive a star.
You'll spot the first star above a brick along the path. Jump onto the brick, then jump up again to nab the star.
Just past the checkpoint, you'll encounter a trio of Octoombas. Use blocks to reach this high platform, then use a Cat Suit to scramble up the blue tiles to the stamp.
When you reach a checkerboard of the red and blue squares, look to the west edge of the section. A red square here holds a star.
This is found underneath the warp box the end of the level. You'll have to run out and grab the star, then get back before you get spun into space.
Not too far into the level, you'll roll past a mysterious box. Hop inside to reach a hidden area. Here, you have ten seconds to run through the inside of a roller like a hamster wheel to reach a star. You can do it!
You'll find this on the series of rollers past the checkpoint. Hop to the little roller before the next platform; rotate it to bring the star to you.
When rolling the giant roller near the end of the level, look south for a little pathway. Down there is a Rosalina switch; use her to hit it and spawn a stamp.
You usually have to play cooperatively to get this one. Further toward the end of the stage is a little alleyway with some bees. At its end is a two-man elevator which will take you to the last star. You can also wall jump up to the ledges on the sides, then use a Cat Suit to scramble up the star.
This one is hard to miss it's right along the path while you chase down the flagpole.
This too is easy to spot along the path, but it's guarded by a Walleye. You'll probably take a hit while grabbing it.
Again, this is easy to spot. Make sure to get back before the platforms fall too far.
This is found during the final stretch, when you actually have to catch the flagpole. Just before the straightaway of falling platforms, there is a series of them that ascend. Take them up to find this star above where the flagpole runs.
Enter this from the map to claim another stamp inside.
Before exiting the first area, hit these question mark blocks to create a tower that takes you to the tall platform here. Hop into the mystery box here to reach a hidden area. Inside, you have ten seconds to hit more question mark blocks, generating more blocks that let you reach the star. We believe in you!
This is in a corner of the course right by the warp box. Fun fact: if you're regular size, you can ground pound through these big blocks by holding the move for a few seconds. Do this to bust through and find the stamp underneath.
You'll find this inside a grey block just past the checkpoint. Use a Bob-omb or loose bomb to blow it up.
Before taking the unlocked warp block out of the level, grab a Bob-omb from the Bowser Box on the right side of the course. Toss it into the big block above, then head up to that platform. Hit the question mark block here a few times to create a tower of blocks, then wall jump you way up them to find a star.
Early in the level, you can spot an exclamation mark block in the air - the best way to hit it is with a throw from the Boomerang Suit. Do this to generate a path to the right, letting you reach the star.
Just after the clear pipe is an open section with tons of Para-Biddybuds. Take them all out - again, the Boomerang Suit is preferred - to spawn a star.
When the ice and lava panels start slamming into place, the third star will be above the lava. Use - you guessed it - the Boomerang Suit to safely grab it.
Just beyond, there will be a large group of bee enemies. To the right, floating in space, is the stamp. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, it's Boomerang Suit time once again.
You'll grab the Mega Mushroom early in the level. Run to the right, but don't stomp through the big blocks on the ground yet. Instead, jump into the cluster of blocks above the grab this.
Just beyond is a wall of those mean purple blocks. Tap them on the GamePad to make them disappear for a second, then step into the alcove. Wall jump up to grab the star in here.
When you see this big blocks underwater, surface. Hit the question mark block here to find another Mega Mushroom. Jump back into the water and head right. Leap upwards from the bouncy mushrooms to break through several layers of big blocks - there's a star up here.
Instead of taking the warp pipe out of the water, swim directly up. In this hidden alcove is another warp pipe. Take it to reach an area with a switch and a question mark block. Hit the block first to grab another Mega Mushroom, then step onto the switch. As Mega Mario, collect all the columns of blue coins the switch generates to spawn a star.
Captain Toad is being harassed by ghosts at the northern end of the starting zone. Look east for a glowing spot in front of a tombstone, then ground pound it to reveal an Invincibility Star. Grab it and use your powers to take out those ghosts, freeing Captain Toad and earning you a star.
Just past the checkpoint are two Snow Pokeys and two mystery boxes. Enter the one on the right to reach a hidden area. You have ten seconds to collect the star here, but it will disappear when approached. Grab a snowball, back up, then chuck it at the star when it reappears. Star collected!
Now take out one of the Snow Pokeys and grab yourself a snowball. Take it down the left side of the next walkway, then chuck it at the elevated star to collect it.
Before taking the warp box to the level's end, make a right along the walkway. Leap the gap to find a stamp over here.
Grab the Cannon Block from the first platform, then continue on the switchboard. When you see this group of question mark blocks, hit them with a cannonball. This will generate a path of bricks to the stamp.
After ascending the wall with the cannon trio, move to the right ledge. Use your Cannon Block to blow through the cracked wall to the star on the other side.
While in the underwater section, look for this group of bricks. Bust through to find a star inside a hidden area.
While on the second switchboard, you'll pass some exclamation mark blocks. Shoot the second one to aim your track towards the star. Shoot it with a cannon ball to collect it.
Press the switch to rotate the cube, then drop down a level. When the enemy is neutral (purple) move past him to grab the first star.
Drop to the ground and hit the switch to rotate the cube again. Drop to the new ground level, and head up the ramp to the second star.
Hit the switch on this same ramp to rotate the cube, then drop to ground. Move to the corner to spot the third star behind some enemies. Grab it while they're purple.
Move to the switch up the ramp, but don't press it yet. Press it when the nearby enemy is neutral, and the cube will rotate, dropping you onto the enemy's head. Now you can safely grab the star.
Hit the switch to rotate the cube one last time. Carefully drop down the ledges, watching the enemies for neutrality, to grab the final star.
You'll encounter a hollow green star early on; hit it to spawn eight green coins. Collect them before time runs out to earn a star.
Take the upper ledges inside the tunnel. Leap above where the warp pipe is to find a cloud platform. Leap to the next alcove to find a star.
Now enter said warp pipe. Inside, you have to touch all the tiles before the music stops. Do this to earn a star.
This is hidden behind a treetop at the start of the mountain.
About halfway up the mountain is this group of bricks. Bust them up to find a warp pipe beyond; take it to a secret area. Hit the blue switch here to spawn three sets of blue coins. Collect them all before time runs out to earn a star.
There are three trees at the top of the mountain. Leap from the rightmost one to reach the star high in the air.
Use a Cat Suit to climb the first red gate. The star is on the upper path here.
Just before the dip in the stream, you'll see this floating above the water. Move towards it to see some cloud platforms become visible. Use these to reach the star.
Don't take the warp box out of the level. Instead, use your Cat Suit to scramble up the wall at the edge of the course. There's a star up there.
This appears above you when you go through the red door. Hop up the platforms to grab the Boomerang Flower, then toss a boomerang to grab the star.
The second star is on a ledge just below where the Boomerang Flower was.
This is on a high ledge just past the stack of Goombas. Wall kick up there, or scramble up with a Cat Suit to grab it.
You'll spot this inside a large clear pipe. Throw a baseball into the pipe to clear the spike, then hop in to claim your prize.
When you reach the rooftop, you'll see a hollow green star. Grab a Propeller Box and hit it spawn eight green coins. Collect them all before time runs out (you need the Propeller Box for the ones over the edge) to spawn a star.
As you ascend to the top, tap the Bowser gong on the GamePad; this spawns a warp box. Use it to reach a little room with coins and the level's last star.
This hollow green star is right at the start of the level. Hit it to spawn eight green coins; collect them before time runs out to earn a star.
When you reach the third warp box, don't hop in immediately. Instead, look to the side of the platform for a narrow planked walkway. Follow this to find another star.
After the third warp box, grab the Mega Mushroom from the nearby question mark block. Cross the planks as Mega Mario, continue past the path to the next ship. Leap up from this dead end to grab a high altitude star.
A Tanooki Suit is key for every star in this course. This floats above the lava near a set of Parabones. Leap to it when the platform beneath temporarily rises.
This one's tough to get. It's on top of the second group of rotating spikes along the zigzagging path.
The last star is on a cloud platform behind the warp pipe at the level's end. Use a Tanooki Suit to leap to it.
This bonus stage is just series of battles, all of which have ten second timer; complete the battle in time to receive a star. The first is against a trio of Chargin' Chucks.
The second is against three Snow Pokeys.
The third is against a pair of Hop-Chops.
The fourth is against a trio of Boomerang Bros.
The fifth is against a Coin Purse. He's hiding by the upper left trio of grass tufts.
The sixth is against three stacks of Goombas.
The seventh is against a trio of Fizzlits.
The eighth is against a trio of Magickoopa.
The ninth is against a trio of Piranha Creepers.
The final battle is against a trio of Hammer Bros.
Turn around at the start of the level to find a mystery box; hop in to reach a secret area. In here, you have ten seconds to hit four switch panels. Do it to earn a star.
Just past the Hammer Bros. is a series of ledges. On the left side is a hollow green star. Hit it to spawn eight green coins. If you can collect them all before time runs out, you'll earn a star.
When you shoot from the clear pipeline cannon, break open the wooden crates on the platform to reveal baseballs. Toss one at the star suspended off to the right.
Hit the question mark block at the level start to find Super Bell. Use the Cat Suit to climb directly up from this location for the first star.
Strike the POW Block a little ways into the mine to destroy the big block nearby, revealing a star.
When the level starts moving vertically again, you'll be near a hollow green star. Hit it to spawn eight green coins; grab them before time runs out to earn a star.
Before reaching the warp pipe, there are eight unlit torches. Use a Fire Flower to light them all, spawning a star.
In the second area are twelve unlit torches. Use a Fire Flower on these too to earn another star.
Just before the flagpole are three more torches. Light them with the Fire Flower to earn one last star.
This is atop a stack of Goombas at the very start of the level.
There is a pair of hidden blocks by the first Thwomp. Use them to reach the ledge above; there's a star up here.
There's a glowing spot by the Wind-Up Soldiers. Ground pound it to reveal a star.
You'll see a giant rabbit upon starting the level; chase him down to earn a star. He's extremely fast, so you'll have to use the boost pads around the area to catch him.
There's a clear pipe on the eastern side of the savanna that has a cloud platform above it. Scramble up there with a Cat Suit to grab the star above.
The final star is near the flagpole. At the top of the cliff are two Conkdors and a Toad switch. Use him to hit the switch and spawn a star on the cloud platforms just before the flagpole.
This is right at the start of the level, behind the Big Boo. Lure it away from the wall a bit to safely rush back and grab your prize.
When the path splits, take the upper level. Hop onto the couch to be lifted to a 1-Up Mushroom. To your right are some invisible cloud platforms that lead to the second star.
You'll find this at the end of the long hallway just before exiting to the flagpole.
Make sure to grab a Cannon Block from the start of the level. A little ways into the underwater section, you'll encounter some big blocks. Blow through them to reach the star on the other side.
When you reach the large spike blocks, swim upwards to discover a grotto. Avoid the Bloopers in this narrow channel, and you'll find a star at the end.
Now sink deeper into the water. You'll spot some big blocks by a sunken ship. Blow them away to find a hollow green star. Hit it, then collect the eight green coins that spawn before time runs out to earn a star.
The beep blocks in this course switch very quickly, so be on your toes; a Tanooki Suit is a good idea here. As you round the bend a bit into the level, you'll see the first star above a question mark block.
There's a hollow green star by the checkpoint. Hit it to spawn eight green coins, which you'll need collect within a time limit. Do this to earn a star; to reach the ones on the upper ledge, hop onto the blow platform and blow into the GamePad's mic.
You'll find this on the beep block slide leading to the level's end.
Head left from the level start to find a pier with four unlit torches. Hit the question mark box near the pier for a Fire Flower. Light all four, and a star appears. Alternatively, you can stand by the torches and get the Fire Bro. atop the Goomba stack here to light them.
Head back to the right. Hop inside the clear pipe here to reach a cloud platform above. There's a star up there.
On the far right side of the beach is a stack of three Goombas, all fast asleep. Snatch the start from over them.
Grab the Boomerang Flower from the question mark block at the level start - you're going to need it. Just past the two lines of Para-Biddybuds are the star and a Piranha Plant. Throw a boomerang over the gap to grab the star as it flies by.
Just after the spinning fire spokes is a clear pipe. Enter it from the right side of the pathway to pop out and grab the second star.
You'll find this during the final stretch of the level, when the hexagons are flying into place. It's floating solo at first, but then a lava piece connects underneath of it. Throw a boomerang to collect it the safe way.
The first star is to the left of the second Fire Bro. Cross when the spikes are receding, and use a Cat Suit to scramble up to the platform where the star is.
Just after the checkpoint, you'll come to a bridge with waves of moving spikes. Stop at the first pillar and take out the Fire Bro., then use a Cat Suit to scramble to the star on the side of the platform here.
Just past the bridge is a large platform almost entirely covered by a spotlight. Stick to the edges and move to the back to find star. This too has a spotlight on it, so be prepared to get out of there quickly or take the hit.
This level is just a gauntlet of previous boss battles, but you get stars for three of the fights. You'll get the first for defeating Boss Brolder.
The Hisstocrats actually fight together this time, meaning you have to hit each one three times to win. You'll get another star for taking them down.
And you'll get one more for beating Motley Bossblob.
Enter the tent from the map to claim the stamp inside.
Yeah, this level is almost unfairly difficult, and it's long; we lost a lot of lives. Bring a Tanooki Suit if you can. That said, the first star can't be missed. It sits at the end of the beep blocks, right before you enter a clear pipe.
This one is also impossible to miss. It's right after the swinging rollers, just before you enter a warp box.
You'll find this among the huge section of dash panels a bit later into the level.
The stamp is right at the end of the level, right before you leap to the flagpole.
Drop off the ledge and let the rising lava take you to the first star.
The second star is tucked inside a block in the middle of the map. Run in and grab it while the lava level is low, then get back to the safety of a red raft.
You'll need to use blow platforms to continue forward. One of them automatically takes you to a star. Keep blowing into the GamePad mic to stay hovering above the lava.
The very next blow platform takes you to a bridge made of falling platforms. There's a star along it.
When you reach the platform with the Piranha Plant, drop to the central blow platform. Use it to reach the cloud above, where you'll find this stamp and a bunch of gold coins.
Drop through the hole in the cloud to land on and defeat the Piranha Plant below. Now you can grab the final star behind it.
This final stage is a series of 30 (seriously, 30) challenges, each with a time limit. For the first, you have ten seconds to defeat a trio of Koopa Troopas.
For the second, you must cross some swinging platforms. Watch out for the rolling spike on the final one.
You have to press three switches in the next challenge. Quickly stun the two Brolders that appear, then toss them onto a switch each. Stand on the third yourself to spawn as star.
In the next room, immediately hit the question mark block and grab the Fire Flower that pops out. Light the four torches for a star.
The next room is perpetually spinning. Dodge the ghosts and grab the star when it gets close enough.
The star is located in one of the crates in challenge six; you'll need to bust up the four in the upper right to find it. If you still have the Fire Flower, this will be much easier.
The next room has a Goomba and several Mini Goombas. Take them out to earn a star.
The star in room eight is down a ramp. Grab a baseball and chuck it down to collect it. If you take out a Biddybud instead, quickly throw another.
In the next room are a few of those trampoline enemies. Stun the one to the far right, and it will become a regular trampoline. Use it to reach the star.
Room ten has those walkways that only appear when you get close. Run out and ride a Thwomp to the upper level to grab the star.
Grab an Ice Skate as soon as you warp here, then move forward. The Walleyes here are absolutely annoying, but you'll have to pass them to reach the star.
Immediately hit the question mark block in here for a Super Bell. Use your Cat Suit powers to scramble over the wall, and hit the switch. Scramble back over to grab the star it spawns.
The next room is a climbing challenge. Scramble to the top as fast as you can to grab the star.
The next room has a series of beep blocks. Time your jumps up them, then scramble up the wall to grab another star.
The fifteenth room is another climbing challenge, but the blocks will descend as soon as you latch on. Scramble up quickly to reach the star.
Halfway there! In there next room are a spinning wheel and several Fuzzies. Scramble around the wheel to the star between the groups of enemies to nab it.
A tiny rabbit is inside the next room. Use the dash panels to catch it and earn another star.
You have to hit a switch on a wall in here. Grab a baseball and use the jump pad to launch yourself closer, then chuck the ball to hit the switch and spawn a star.
The next room is a giant roller. Spin the room until you can hop to a ledge, then from there, leap to the star. Watch out for the Piranha Plants too!
There are two Bullies inside the next room. Knock them into the lava for another star.
In the next room are three question mark blocks; striking them will spawn more blocks you can use as platforms. Use this to reach the star above - a ground pound is most effective on the blocks.
This next room is tough; you have to hit the dash panel to reach the star in time, but it lies across some very narrow platforms. The Cat Suit Bullet Bills won't catch you while boosted, so focus on staying on the narrow walkway to reach your prize.
This room is also very tough. You have to bounce up the sleeping Piranha Creepers' heads. A Cat Suit will make this a little easier, but not by much. Good luck!
This room has three question mark panels, all guarded by something. Chuck baseballs at the left two when the Thwomp are in the air, then turn to the bricked up column. Kick the nearby bomb into it, then chuck a baseball at the last switch to spawn the star.
This room can be tricky: it holds two Potted Piranha Plants and several Fuzzies. Pick up a Piranha Plant and use it to gobble up every other enemy. Then let it go and stomp on it to clear the room and spawn a star.
The next room is just a big roller. Dash along and avoid the Piranha Plants until the star comes into view.
The star is in the upper right corner here. Quickly wall jump between the bricks to reach it. This will activate the spotlight and send Cat Suit Bullet Bills after you, so move fast.
Start running as soon as you spawn here - you need to cross some falling platforms. These give way with the Spikes' rollers too, so you need to get to the other side and leap for the star before they fall too far.
Boom Boom appears in this room, but you only have to hit him once. Stomp on his head to earn a star.
The last room is just a walkway with coins, a stamp, and a star. Just run forward to grab it all.
