Worms Walkthrough (Facebook) [Guide]

Those who have played this addictive game during the 90’s will surely be excited as Worms is now a social game on Facebook. This time around, you can play as your favorite creepy crawlies against online friends as you engage in miniature wars with amazing weapons and silly hats. This new incarnation will certainly entice both new and old fans of this classic turn based strategy game, due to it offering both classic gameplay and social themed functions and elements.

Gameplay
Worms is a turn based strategy game where two teams, each comprising of a number of worm soldiers, will do battle with each other using different types of armaments. Players can also customize their soldiers as well as their own islands. Coins can, as well as other rewards, be earned by doing tasks throughout the game, which could then be used to make them more formidable in battle.

Currency
Worms utilizes two forms of currency. Worm coins are the primary currency within the game and can be earned by completing tasks and by damaging enemies, among others. Worm credits, on the other hand, are harder to come by, and can also be rewarded in the same way as coins but would come at a limited quantity. Both can be used to purchase items such as weapons and ammunition in the store, although only worm credits can be used to purchase reinforcements as well as unlock and purchase premium items.

Reinforcements
Reinforcements work like energy, in the way that players would require four reinforcements to take part in a battle, while it would require one reinforcement to take part in a challenge. Additional reinforcements can be purchased, but this is also replenished automatically, and for free, over time.

Leveling Up
As players do battle and perform tasks, they will be able to level up. Leveling up means that your opponents will be stronger, and more items will be unlocked in the store for you to purchase. Thus, leveling up is the means by which you would be able to use all the items, as well as other unlockable locations, within the game.

Battles
Each battle takes about three minutes. Players are given 30 seconds each turn, with the computer randomly selecting the worm that you will be controlling in each turn. During their turn, players can move their worm in the map to get into position, and they can use their weapon once, unless the weapon is specifically allowed to be fired more than once. Once they have used their weapon, their turn automatically ends.

There are many different types of weapons that can be used, with each having different ranges and strengths. Most weapons are long range, while some require you to stand next to your target. You can also destroy the environment using your weapons, and some can also knock back enemies, which is very beneficial especially when you want them to drop into the water or over a ledge, which will result in an instant kill.

At the end of the three minute limit, the player with the most health, regardless of how many worms are remaining from each team, will be declared the winner. However, if you are able to dispatch all of the opposing team’s worms, then you will also be declared the winner.

Players can battle the computer as well as friends and strangers alike, as long as they are also online.

Tasks
From time to time, tasks will pop up on the screen. These can range from achievements such as using a weapon for the first time or purchasing a particular item. Check up on these as they appear as they will be able to reward you with coins, ammunition, and a lot of experience once they have been completed.

Store
The store is where you will be buying items that you will need throughout the game. These range from weapons and ammunition that you will use in battle, as well as hats and gravestones that you can use to customize your worms. You can also purchase decors to enhance the look of your island.

Social Function
The game also offers a social function where you can invite friends to join you. Players can also visit friends’ islands once per day and help them out, which will in turn reward you with coins, XP, ammunition, and even reinforcements.
