Rockstar wasn’t content with just having the typical batch of side missions and activities for GTA players to do. This time there are Random Events thrown in the mix as well. These events can happen at any time outside of a mission and can either be completely or ignored or completed.
This guide will help you handle every Random Event encountered in the game. But if you are looking for a full guide for the GTA V story, please use this guide:

The way you know a Random Event is happening is that the map flashes. Then the little dots on the map that represent people will pop up. If they are red dots, that means those people probably need killed. If they are blue dots, that means the people need help in some way. Dots that flash between blue and red indicate that you can choose to help the people or choose to kill them in order to satisfy the requirements of the mission.
===============
01. ATM ROBBERY
===============
A robbery at an ATM. Take out the perk to complete the event.
==============
02. BIKE THIEVES
==============
For these random events, all you need to do is recover a stolen bicycle. The easiest manner, as usual, is to just kill the thief as he is making his escape. After killing or scaring off the thief (if you’re the nice type I suppose), pick up the bike and return it to its rightful owner for a reward.
===========
03. BUS TOUR
===========
Want to give a tour to the tourists of Los Santos by driving a bus around the city? Of course you don’t. But do it anyway for this RE.

=========================
04. CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENT
=========================
One of the first Random Events encountered. A man at a construction site is risking death as a bunch of pipes fell on his truck and there is about to be an explosion. Very quickly hop into a bulldozer and knock the pipes out of the way that are blocking the driver’s side door. Make sure you knock them out of the way enough to give the guy room to run. If he dies in the explosion, the event will fail.
===================
05. ESCAPE PAPARAZZI
===================
A star needs help escaping from the paparazzi. Flee from them and upon escape, you will be rewarded.

=====================
06. GANG INTIMIDATION
=====================
Over in the hood, there is a little gang war that needs taken care of. Kill the gang members and then the police will show up. Successfully escape from the police to end the mission.

==================
07. GETAWAY DRIVER
==================
Exactly as the RE sounds, for this one, you just have to act as a getaway driver for a fugitive. Fleeing from the police will satisfy the requirement of the mission.
============
08. MUGGINGS
============
Down a few dark alleyways, people will be getting mugged at gunpoint by a thug. Quickly kill the thug to save the people and they will reward you for your efforts.

================
09. SECURITY VANS
================
10 different high-level security vans are used in San Andreas. They contain high amounts of cash and can sometimes be found driving around or parked. The trick is to get the cash and then escape the police successfully.
Before attempting this, be sure to buy a shotgun and body armor. Find the van, and then dispatch of the drivers in any way you want. Then quickly go to the back doors and shoot the back doors directly in the center with a shotgun repeatedly until the doors open. Then grab the cash and flee the police.

=================
10. SHOP ROBBERIES
=================
Stores are occasionally held up (when they aren’t being held up by you, of course). Kill the robbers to save the storefronts.
============
11. SNATCHED
============
The Lost have decided to kidnap a woman. First save the woman by killing the Lost. Shoot out their tires and then kill them when they exit their car. Then let the woman get in your car. Start driving her home and more of the Lost will show up. Kill all of them and then drop her off at her house to successfully complete the mission.
===================
12. SPORTS BIKE THIEF
===================
Another mission where someone has stolen something and someone else wants that something back. In this case, it’s just a sports bike. This is pretty much identical to the bike thief missions, albeit this bike is much faster. Kill or scare off the guy on the bike and then deliver it back to its rightful owner.

==================
13. SIMEON YETARIAN
==================
Remember that jerk that Franklin and Lamar were working for at the beginning of the game? Return to his dealership to start this RE. Unlike most Random Events, this one will not just appear on your map when you are near his store. You have to literally go inside the store to get it to start.
Anyway, it is just a shootout with a bunch of guys. Kill everyone in the dealership and then exit the store and you’ll be fine.
=====================
14. ABANDONED VEHICLES
=====================
There are two of these missions. And each time you approach the seemingly abandoned vehicle, things don’t go quite as expected. The first time results in being stun gunned in the face and then having to recover and kill the guy that attacked.
The second time this can happen is out by the wind farm. A couple are having sex in a van and they don’t like that you saw them screwing. When they get out of the van, they will attempt to gun you down, so kill them as quickly as they turn to red blips on the map.

==========
15. ARRESTS
==========
A couple of times during the game, you may come cross police officers attempting to arrest criminals. At that juncture, you have two options. You can either help the criminals by killing the cops or you can help the cops by killing the criminal. Either way will result in the cops chasing you, so these missions always end by escaping the police.
=================
16. BORDER PATROLS
=================
Crazy racists out in the desert will assume you to be an immigrant…even if you are Michael. Right. Anyway, they will attempt to kill you for being an illegal immigrant. Kill them first. Pretty cut and dry, and simple as that.
=========
17. BURIAL
=========
Some jerk thugs are attempting to bury a woman alive. Save the woman by killing the thugs and then take her where she wants to go by following your GPS.
To Top
=============
18. CAR THEFTS
=============
People steal cars. Kill them and then return the cars.
================
19. CHASE THIEVES
================
Thieves like to snatch purses and wallets from poor, unsuspecting civilians. Chase down the thieves and ice them. Then pick up the wallet/purse/whatever. To complete the mission, you can either walk away with the goods or deliver them to their rightful owner.
===============
20. COUNTRYSIDE
===============
In the Countryside, there are a couple of different Random Events to keep in mind. For one, there is the “Chase Thieves” business that we’ve already been through, except in the country. Kill the thieves, then either take the money or return it.
There’s also some gang fighting in the Countryside. Just kill all of the gangsters to save the innocent mn caught in the crossfire and kill all of the other gangsters that show up as reinforcements.

===============
21. CRASH RESCUE
===============
A civilian has crashed their vehicle and needs assistance. Save her and then drive her to her safehouse. This woman, Taliana Martinez, will now join your crew as a result of saving her life for use in Heists.
===================
22. DEAL GONE WRONG
===================
A drug deal has gone horribly wrong. At the site of the deal are a bunch of dead bodies, but one guy is still barely alive. Collect the briefcase full of money and then flee from the location. More drug dealers will show up, so kill them and then you can claim the money for yourself.
============
23. DOMESTIC
============
A poor guy has been kicked out of the house by his wife for cheating. Pick him up and drive him to the golf course so he can blow off steam. Doing this will make him an option to play golf with whenever you go to do so.

=================
24. DRUG SHOOTOUT
=================
At the weed farm out in the countryside, you’ll find a bunch of dealers duking it out. Kill them all and collect their money. You get a ton of money from doing this, so I recommend doing this mission even if you already have satisfied the 14 required Random Events for 100% completion stat.
================
25. DRUNK DRIVERS
================
These missions are simple enough. A few people are just too drunk to get home. So pick them up and take them where they want to go. If you are playing as Trevor when doing this, you can choose to take them to their destination or take them to the Altruist Cult. Either method will satisfy the Random Events requirements. More on the Altruist Cult option in the next Random Event…
=============
26. HITCH LIFTS
=============
Sometimes people are just looking for a ride. When you come across these people, you can pick them up in whatever vehicle you are driving and then take them to their desired destination. But if you are playing as Trevor, well, you have more options.
Trevor can take people to where they’re wanting to go, or he can also drop them off at the Altruist Cult. This cult is located deep in the mountains, but whenever Trevor picks up a hitchhiker, the symbol for the cult’s location will pop up on the map. Just mark it and drive them there. This will net you an achievement, though isn’t required for the in-game 100% completion stat.

==================
27. ROGUE ALTRUISTS
==================
Kill the cult members causing trouble and saving the woman they are beating up on. Then take the woman home.
========================
28. LURING GIRL INTO ALLEY
========================
When you come across a girl screaming for help for her hurt friend, be weary. This is actually a trap to mug you. So as soon as they turn their guns, whip out a gun of your own and smoke them both, then collect the cash off their dead bodies.
================
29. PRISONER LIFTS
================
In one of these missions, you have to simply rescue the prisoner. Another time, the prisoner will attempt to steal your car at the end of it, so kill him to fully complete the mission.

=======================
30. STAG DO RUNNING MAN
=======================
Out in the desert (of course it’s in the desert) is a guy that is in pink underwear and tied to a pole. Rescue him from the pole and take him to the store to get properly dressed for his wedding. Then drive him to the wedding. After the wedding, you get to keep the car. Sweet.
