The only weapon that these pilots have is their own plane, be it militarized or not. The pilots will start using it against you and they will not rest unless they wipe you off the map.

The creator of the angry pilots mod for GTA 5 PC has released a video where the player is in a monster truck. It is such a saving grace because if he or she was not in a vehicle, the flight people would have taken them in an instant. As soon as the mod is activated, every plane comes close to the ground searching for you and once they find you, they start attacking.

While commercial planes and cargo ships not equipped with guns will directly try to hit you by crashing, the military jets are exceptionally strong.
