We are now at that time of the year when two great football games are about to kick off. As usual, the FIFA and PES fans will say that their favorite game is the best, but we can’t say too much until both of the games will be released.
We can clearly say that the FIFA game published by EA is more popular than the PES game published by Konami. However, that doesn’t mean that the FIFA game is better than PES. However, we’ve already noticed that the PES game is gaining more and more popularity and we’re pretty sure that, this year, these games will have a fair “fight”.
Licensing and Management
This is one of the areas where EA is better after each year. Likewise old FIFA games, the upcoming FIFA 16 will feature a lot of real life teams and leagues that you will enjoy. We remind you that FIFA 15 came with around 25 licensed championships and EA is looking to come with more.
It is good to know that FIFA 16 will feature international women’s teams, which we’re pretty sure that a lot of players will enjoy and this will boost the sales on the upcoming FIFA 16 game.
On the other hand, Konami will need some licensing deals for their PES 2016 game or else they will be left behind by FIFA 16. However, Konami has some important license for hosting the UEFA Champions League in its game.
Gameplay Mechanics
While Konami doesn’t always comes with all the licensed teams and leagues, but they come with some real great gameplay mechanics. They are doing this since when the game was released for PlayStation 2 and they continue to do a great job right now.
However, that was a long time ago and it seems that EA understood how important the gameplay mechanics feature is. The developer improved the AI and made more “human-like” players, the ball can be controlled better and the game is more dynamic.
Multiplayer mode
Multiplayer is another feature that is found on FIFA 16 and it is enjoyed by a lot of players. Even if this feature wasn’t added to PES 2015, the developers are currently working on it and we’re pretty sure that multiplayer mode will be available on PES 2016.
Conclusion
We’re pretty sure that this year we will have a pretty “massive” battle between FIFA 16 and PES 2016. However, we already feel that FIFA 16 will most likely win this battle once again.
However, let’s not give a verdict until both of these two games are released.
