Why Ubisoft Should Make Assassin’s Creed Syndicate the Last Game

Ubisoft has probably milked the franchise like never before and if they make an announcement that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is the last game in the series, it would be such a relief for most gamers.

It is one of the worst games in history at the moment because the story that began with Altair has ended with Ezio and there isn’t much link to it from then on. Random people started jumping into the story campaign including a pirate who turns into a deadly killer and then another guy from the French revolution era. But, now things are exceptionally worse where it is set in the Victorian era. It’s not because of the time, but the one hour game play video released by Ubisoft confirms there is nothing new to do in the game.

Same Gameplay, Boring Enemies

There is nothing new to be excited by Assassin’s Creed Syndicate except for the somewhat passable combat on horse wagons. You just can’t buy a game simply because it has one new feature to offer, while everything else is the same. Players get to roam in London now and it doesn’t look any different than Florence or France! You move on rooftops and kill anyone who is alerted by your presence. Then the mission comes where you start following people anonymously, fight soldiers and kill the target once he reaches the spot.

Haven’t we played this already? Isn’t it so boring to make a new game with the same combat, setup and movements? The game developers should probably be really bored by now, which is why Ubisoft keeps changing studios, but they never let the gamers get a break. They have to pay $60 to buy another stupid game that offers nothing. Maybe, it might come with a whole load of new bugs even though it’s tough to beat Assassin’s Creed Unity from its record.

Prince of Persia is a better Choice

Maybe, Ubisoft could forget this entire Assassin’s Creed Syndicate crap and focus on making, maybe a new Prince of Persia after a long break. If a game helps you make revenue, it is ok to make two or three, but making six or seven out of it purely annoying.

Activision has already broken records with Call of Duty, but at least it has a multiplayer mode. Assassin’s Creed got nothing to interest most players and it would be a favor if the publisher were to finally get rid of it so that Ezio would rest in peace.
