Dishonored: Rat Assassin is a new game by Bethesda Softworks (best known for Skyrim and the rest of the Elder Scrolls series of course). This is a mini game of sorts that leads up to the release of Dishonored, but Rat Assassin is a fun game in its own right. It plays much like Samurai vs Zombies or Fruit Ninja, or Zombie Swipeout, where you slash rats and make combinations to get points, win coins and buy goodies. Read on for some tips and tricks for Dishonored: Rat Assassin!
To maximize the points that you earn in the game, not only should you try to swipe and slice more than two rats with one slice to earn combo bonuses, but even after you slice them, keep slicing their carcasses over and over. Each time that you slice a rat carcass you earn even more points, so you can potentially double or even triple your scores just by using this trick.
Better yet, use two fingers (or more, if you’re extra skilled or playing the game on an iPad) to slice up multiple rat carcasses, or rows of rats and rat carcasses, and you’ll earn even more bonuses, in the form of dice combo bonuses, making it very easy to rack up high scores, especially on timed mode.
On challenge mode, for the challenges where multiple rats are dropping at the same time, use a trailing swipe, with two fingers if needed, to kill every rat that you need to kill in order to beat the challenges.
For challenges where there aren’t falling bombs everywhere (but there are stationary bombs all over the screen, since they are always there anyways), use the dicing techniques to rack up your score and get an easy three stars on everything. And don’t slow down when the word “extra” starts popping up next to everything.
