City Story Metro: Halloween (iOS): Get more Energy and Goods

In the Halloween Edition of the smash hit City Story Metro, by TeamLava, goods and energy are just as important to the game as they were in the non-Halloween version. You need to have goods in order to supply your businesses, so that they can earn you all kinds of money. You need to have energy to actually do anything in the game, whether it be collecting coins or goods from your businesses, or completing construction on an incomplete building.

To load up on goods, you need to do two things. First, maximize the amount of population you have, by any means possible, so that you can build more industrial buildings, such as greenhouses. Second, as you increase the population in your city, increase the number of greenhouses that exist in your city. Build as many of them as you can.

Then, once you have them built, run them on the short contract over and over again. (in the case of the greenhouse, the short contract will be the Fruits ‘n Veggies contract) to get the goods very quickly. The more industry buildings that you can run contracts on, the faster you can rack up goods, and short contracts are always the quickest and most efficient at the job.

There are a few ways to get more energy, besides the obligatory “sit around and wait for your energy to charge back up” solution. One of them is, obviously, to buy more energy in the marketplace in exchange for gems, but that’s way too many gems spent for not that much energy.

Every time that you gain an experience level, you will also get a full refill in energy, so try to time the gaining of experience levels to happen when your entire energy bar is depleted so that you can get your money’s worth in energy. In addition, every day that you visit a neighbor (not a random person in the community, but someone who is your neighbor because one of you invited the other via Storm8 ID) you can get a random bonus, which can consist of coins, experience, or of course, energy.
