The green target button that’s in the upper left corner of the screen, right next to wear the heart button appears, is the missions button. Tap it to see what missions you have, and what you have to do to accomplish them. Whenever you accomplish a mission, tap on the green target and hit the “collect” button next to the mission that you just finished. Missions will earn you coins, diamonds, experience points, or hearts.
Coins, of course, are the primary currency, with which you can buy most of your weapons. Diamonds, the premium currency, allow you to buy weapons that you normally have to wait in the workshop to build.
In addition, after you gain a few levels, you will be taken to the map area of the screen. Here you can see the various areas that you can unlock, or that you have already unlocked, which you can then tap on. When you tap them, you’ll be transported to those areas, and you can kill the boss in those areas. There are various different background elements in each background that you can interact with, plus the boss has different quotes depending on which area you attack him at.
In addition, there is a pirate ship that pops up in the lower right corner of the map screen. If you click on it, you will be able to play a treasure chest game, and when you play it you will be able to pick between one of nine different treasure chests. Each one has either coins, diamonds, hearts or weapon parts.
You will get one free play every four hours, but after you use your free play, you will have a chance to continue and get another free play. If time on the continue runs out, or if you decide to play at any other time, the play will cost diamonds for you to do.
