Dragon Soul is a brand new dragon raising game for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. This one takes a tried and true genre known for games such as Dragon City, DragonVale, Little Dragons and Dragon Story, and puts its own unique spin on it. In this one, the city building elements (for the most part) have been removed from the game, leaving you instead with a more graphically intensive interface, and allowing you to get to simply raising dragons without some of the other bothersome details from the other games. Read on for some tips and tricks for Dragon Soul!
You only have a limited number of dragon habitats that you can get in the game, so if you really want to maximize coins, maximize the most lucrative habitats that you can get. Fire habitats are the least lucrative as they only max out at 300 coins (600 for superior fire habitats) before you can collect, but ice ones do far better at 3000 coins (6000 for superior habitats)
Even better are the wind habitats at 5,000 coins maximum before you are forced to collect, and earth habitats at 10,000 coins before you have to collect. This leaves the fire habitat as not being good for much other than having a fire dragon to breeed.
You can always sell a dragon when you do not need it anymore either. To do this, tap on the habitat, then tap on the dragon inside of the habitat, and hit the “sell” button on the dragon’s profile screen that pops up. Sell dragons whenever you have too many duplicates of the same dragon, and are trying to make room for something better (e.g. a hybrid dragon). You can sell habitats in the same manner as long as the habitat has no dragons inside of it.
Don’t buy the superior version of any one habitat right from the beginning. Buy the regular version, and then upgrade to the superior version after it’s built. It will take a shorter amount of time to do so (upgrades take no time) and you will earn more total experience points for doing so.
