Guide to Monster Hospital for iOS: Tips, tricks, hints, cheats and strategies

Monster Hospital is a new time management game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. If you have been a fan of games such as Diner Dash and Wedding Dash you’ll recognize the gameplay immediately, as the goal is to get monsters from waiting chairs to diagnostic machines to treating machines to the recovery beds and out as quickly as possible before your shift is over. You can pick from either easy, medium or hard rounds, and the rewards will be different depending on which stage you choose, as will the difficulty. Read on for some tips and tricks for Monster Hospital!

Pick the stage that you decide to play based on which rewards you are trying to go for. If you are trying to upgrade your lab machines as quickly as possible, play the easy stages, so that you can earn easy four star rewards and free employees for the hospital by earning as many spins on the DNA roulette as possible. For more coins and upgrade points for your employees, though, play the hardest stage that you have unlocked.

If you are waiting for an upgrade to finish somewhere in your hospital, on one of your stations, normally it can take anywhere between 10 minutes and a few hours to wait for it to happen. You can speed it up though by going to the iPhone date and time settings and setting the time ahead by however much time you need in order to complete the upgrade or upgrades. Then go back to the game and finish up the upgrade. Finish the upgrade before you set the time back to normal, though, or the time will reset it self when you set it back to normal.

Since you only start with one treatment machine, make sure that somebody is stationed there and use your upgrade points to upgrade their skills there. Make sure it’s a doctor, not a nurse. Upgrade this station first, too. Once you unlock a second treatment machine, though, the recovery beds will become the huge sticking point, so start upgrading those as quickly as possible.
