In the Gridiron mode, instead of picking up gold balls or silver balls, you’ll pick up red balls instead. These work the same way, where you will get to redeem them at the end of the game, and normally, they will have better prizes than the gold or silver balls, such as better card packs or more gold.

In addition, there are two ways to get rewards. One of them is by earning more ranking points (which you do by winning). When you play the Gridiron game, the more difficult the player who you play against, the more points you will earn for beating them. In addition, you’ll go on a “drive” that will extend by one game each time that you win, as long as you play each game within 10 minutes of the previous one. You will get significant rewards such as event tickets, card packs and high grade cards for making certain milestones, both for your total points and for your drive.

There are two different types of energy in NFL Shuffle. One of them is the season energy (the bar in blue) and the other is versus energy (the bar in red). Each half costs 10 energy, meaning that one season game will cost 20 season energy (ten for each half). Gridiron games cost no energy, since they cost tickets instead. Oftentimes, you will earn free energy refills inside of silver, gold and red balls, and you can use them once your energy runs out.

Building a good team is the hard part. You get six offensive players and six defensive players for your main team. For offense you have a quarterback, a wide receiver and a running back, and for defense you get a defensive lineman, a linebacker and a defensive back. You also get three flex players for each, which can be any player on offense (for your offensive team) and any player on defense (for your defensive team).
