If you don’t date someone in awhile, they will call you and break up with you. You can either accept the breakup, or you can charm them using Stars (the premium currency of the game). Stars can also be used to charm other people in bars who refuse to talk to you because you’re on too low of a list (say, the E-list as opposed to the D-list) or to buy premium clothing.
When you are doing a film project, if you have contacts, you will see a bubble with a silhouette of a person and a plus sign. Tap it and you can call one of your fellow actors or actresses to come act with you in the project. When they join you, you’ll earn extra rewards, such as more fans or more money for doing the project. In addition, their fan base will increase each time they do a project with you, increasing your rewards even more.
You can move into different condos or apartments in various areas (Downtown, the Coast, etc) and when you do, the main benefit will be that you can go to the petstore and buy pets (you can’t have them in your beginning apartment). Each pet that you buy will earn you a bonus, such as more fans or money for anything that you do. The more pets you have, the higher your bonus, so it’s worth it to buy a more expensive home that allows you to have more pets.
Each time that you do a project or a date or a shift at Starbeans, when you complete an action, and rewards drop, you can either allow them to collect automatically or tap them yourself and collect them. Each one that you tap yourself will make an energy point restore 5 seconds quicker (each one normally takes 5 seconds to restore.
That’s all for the beginner’s guide to Stardom: Hollywood! Happy acting!
