I Am MT (iOS): How to synthesize cards, unlock the arena and the academy

There are a number of unlockable elements in I Am MT, the iOS game based on I’m MT, the Chinese cartoon based on World of Warcraft. Synthesizing cards is one of the best ways to earn rare and powerful cards. The arena allows you to fight in PvP battles and compete to take over various arenas, while the academy allows you to learn brand new leader skills. Read on to find out how to get all three of these!

Synthesizing cards can be unlocked at level 10. This is the first thing that you can unlock in the game, the second being the ability to double the speed of your battles at level 15. Synthesizing cards is done by using card pieces. You can get either universal card pieces, which work for any card that you want to synthesize, or by using card-specific pieces, which work for only one type of card.

Half of the pieces that you synthesize has to be done with at least half of the pieces being card-specific, while you can use the universal cards for the rest of them. However, you can use up to 100% card specific pieces if you want, although that’s a less efficient way to do it.

To unlock the academy, you have to increase your level up to 30. Once you do that, tap on the academy tab and you will be able to learn brand new leader skills. There will always be one random skill available, and it can be regenerated twice a day for free. Otherwise, you have to pay runes for it. You can either teach a character a leader skill when they don’t have one, or you can replace one leader skill with another one.

You can unlock the arenas at level 35, and in the arenas you can fight against other players. there are four arenas, one for each different card quality (purple, blue, green or white). Your goal is to seize a particular arena from another player, and to do that you have to beat them. Each arena has three different difficulty levels, and the higher the difficulty you beat the arena on, the longer you get to keep it for. If you get beaten, you lose the arena.
