Welcome to the beginner’s guide to Guncrafter, the iOS app where you build guns out of blocks, and then shoot Minecraftesque structures that are made out of blocks! Your goal in this game is to build guns, go to various stages, and compete against either computer controlled opponents in a PvE battle, or real life players in PvP battles, to see who can shoot the most blocks out of a block structure in a set amount of time. Read on for the beginner’s guide to Guncrafter!
To begin, you build a gun out of blocks. At first, you will only have one grid option and one choice of materials to build your gun with. You can make the gun look like anything you want, as long as you have a trigger and a muzzle somewhere on the grid. Beyond that, though, it doesn’t matter how many blocks you use, and where you put the muzzle and the trigger, or even if the gun has a pistol grip. Half the fun, though, is building guns which look like your favorite real-life weapons.
Next, you are taken to a stage where you play in a timed shootout against another player. You have one minute to shoot out more blocks than the other guy or girl. If you beat them, you will be rewarded with five coins; if you lose, you will be rewarded with just one coin. After the round is done, you can either rematch them or hit the “give up” button to go and find another opponent.
Your aiming is done by tilting your phone or device in the direction that you want to shoot, and you shoot by simply tapping on the screen. Once you run out of bullets in your clip, you’ll have to drag the bullet button in the upper right corner of the screen downward in order to reload your clip.
As you earn more coins, you will be able to unlock bigger grids and more guns that you can play with. Your starting grid is a 4×4 grid, but you can unlock a 4×6, a 5×7, all the way up to a 10×6 grid. Bigger grids allow you to hold more ammunition in one clip. therefore allowing you to fire more rounds before you have to reload.
