RumbleKitten is a new “fighting” game for the iPhone and Android. The goal is to beat other cats in fights in order to get the evil Daddy Cat to free your cat buddies (why not just attack Daddy Cat? Who knows. Anyways…) The fights, however, are decided by Fruit Ninja-style rounds of swiping at stars and avoiding bombs, with each star that you hit taking away an enemy cat’s hit points, and each bomb taking away yours. Read on for some tips and tricks for RumbleKitten!
Combos are important to get in this game, and the way that you can land a combo is by knocking out three or more stars with the same swipe (no turning or swiping slowly, it has to be all at once). However, each star that you don’t swipe, that falls off of the screen, will take away some of your hit points, so if you have to, ignore the combo opportunity in order to make sure that you swipe all of the stars before they fall off the screen.
If you are stuck on a round, you can go back and earn more gold and cashnip by playing old rounds that you have already beaten. Rounds get harder as you go on in the game, so this is also a good way to complete the three missions that you unlock at a time, as well. The earlier the round, the easier the mission usually is.
The extra gold you earn (and cashnip) buys you extra swagger, so go to the store and buy as many swagger items as you can. Doing it this way, you can then save up all of the gold that you earn from the rounds that you do next if you have extra swagger items available to you, and then use that gold for even more swagger later on.
You can use that extra gold to rescue your pound friends early, as well. Normally, you have to wait until you beat a certain stage in order to rescue the pound friends, but if you have enough gold, go to the “home” button and then go to the Pound Friends page and start rescuing them.
