King’s Empire (iOS) Tips and Tricks: Hints, Cheats and Strategies

King’s Empire is a MMO strategy game by Tap4Fun, the same company that did the smash hit Galaxy Empire and Spartan Wars games, and while this game is older than both of those ones, it’s come back and is now still one of the biggest hits in the Tap4Fun Library. You run a castle in medieval times, and your goal is to dominate as much of the surrounding area (and the world in general) as you can by building up your own resources and power. Read on for some tips and tricks for King’s Empire!

After you complete the initial quests at the beginning of the game, upgrade your warehouse so that you can hold more food, wood, stone and iron, but beyond that, don’t bother upgrading your resource producing facilities more than you have to. Keep them low so that your city looks unattractive to other players for attacking. Get your resources in two ways. Save your quest rewards for when you need them (don’t collect them right away) and attack robber camps, ashka brotherhood camps, scarlet crusader camps and villages.

Even better, use the spy function to find players who have long abandoned their castles (there are more of them in the full worlds, rather than the newest servers) and raid their castles over and over for resources. You can tell who these players are because they have no troops, and no defenses at their wall, yet their castle keeps on producing resources over and over again.

Load up on your alliance’s people and power by using some strategy to recruit people. For example, come up with a specific cultural theme to your alliance (ex. Spanish speakers in the US, or fans of Breaking Bad) and recruit people that way. Then have everybody power up and give to the alliance to grow it, recruit even more members, and increase your power to the point where you can declare war on the capital and be successful.

Or, to get loads of people into an alliance, find all of the surrounding players if you’re in an area full of newbies, and send them mail inviting them to the alliance. Or, send the players who are a little further away all of the invites, and attack the closest nearby cities so that battles don’t take as long to complete.
