Zenonia 5: Wheel of Destiny Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats and Strategies

Zenonia 5: Wheel of Destiny is the latest in the lengthy and excellent action RPG franchise by Gamevil, Inc. It plays much more like a console action RPG than your typical iPhone game, and fans of classic SNES, Sega Genesis, Saturn and Playstation RPGs are certain to love Zenonia 5, same as with all of the other Zenonia games. Read on for some tips and tricks for Zenonia 5 for the iPhone and iPad!

Picking your character at the beginning of the game is mostly a function of what kind of attack strategy you want to use. The Berserker has long, slow, powerful swings with high range. The Mechanic fires quick shots which have a long range and can hit multiple enemies. The Wizard also fires long range shots, which are slower yet more powerful, but can’t hit multiple enemies at once. The Paladin swings a small and very quick sword (the quickest of all the characters), which is arguably the best attack for hitting multiple enemies at once.

The bosses can be extremely difficult to beat in this game, but there are some ways to make it easier. Use the “hit and run” strategy, nailing the boss one or two times rather than trying to use combo attacks, then leading them on a chase in circles, avoiding their attacks and attacking again after they attack. The slower you play them, the better you’ll do.

If a boss in a specialized boss area kills you (or immediately before they kill you) and you saved right beforehand, close the app completely, rather than restarting the battle with experience and gold penalties. Open the app back up, pick the same save game slot, and you’ll restart with zero penalties. You can do this as many times as you want until you kill the boss.

If you skip a storyline part of a quest and forget what you need to do, pause the game and go to the quest menu to run back through what you need to do and who you need to talk to in order to complete the quests and side quests. Then, tap on the map in the upper right corner of the screen to go to the big map, and it will highlight the area that you need to go to in order to complete the next major quest (not the side quests).

Clear out your inventory as soon as it fills up, rather than when you need to in order to pick up a drop, because often when you’re clearing the inventory, the item drop that you’re trying to pick up will simply disappear. Use the “To Bank” option to sell the item, rather than breaking it, and you’ll earn a load of extra gold.
