Welcome to part three of the My Muppets Show beginner’s guide! Click here to go back to part 2 of the guide.
You’ll run out of room for muppets fairly quickly in this game. In order to get more room for your muppets, go to the dressing room and upgrade it. It usually takes awhile to finish upgrading (although you can speed up any upgrade, as well as any digitization and Harv-E), by using diamonds. Once the upgrade is done, you’ll have more room for muppets. You can also sell any muppet that you want, at any time, to earn coins and to make space for new ones.
When your band performs well, the audience will sometimes throw roses on stage. Tap the roses to pick them up, and you’ll get free coins for doing so.
The game has a strong social component as well. In the social menu, you can add friends using either a friend code, Facebook, or Apple Game Center. Once you add someone, you can go to their stage, and once you are there you are can pick up any of their roses that their audience has thrown, which will earn coins for both of you.
Even without using any of the social components, you’ll still have one built in computer controlled friend, although his stage never seems to have any roses on the ground. Tap the random button to go to any random stage. Once you’re there you can either like or dislike them. The most liked stage will earn free diamonds every week, so organize your stage well and try to get all of the muppets to have the highest chance at being the most liked.
You can invite other people using Facebook, Twitter or email for free diamond bonuses as well.
Later on in the game you can unlock new stages and backgrounds, which can then be purchased with coins. Owning new stages and backdrops is a great way to increase your likes. While they really don’t have any practical use, they are fun to have.
In the options menu you can edit the sounds, see the credits, or even increase the zoom range. You can submit a friend’s referral code for bonuses, too.
That’s all for My Muppets Show! Enjoy the game!
