You can sell your classmates at any time that you want, as well. This is useful because it will allow you to make room for new, rarer types of classmates, but at the same time, you can always keep your hangouts full. The nerd hangout holds up to 2 nerds, while the jock and prep hangout hold up to 3 of each.
Later on, at experience level 6, you will be able to build an artist hangout and get artists at your school, as well. Artist hangouts hold up to 3 students, and they earn a maximum of 2,500 coins.
The main center of the game is the quest menu. In here you’ll find guidance on tasks that you need to accomplish in order to advance the storyline and earn experience points. Experience points can only be earned by completing quests, but other bonuses can be earned too – for example, coins, books, new classmates, and sometimes, you can even earn rings.
As you advance in levels and complete quests you’ll be able to unlock important new buildings. The Party Central will be unlockable after completing a certain quest. The way it works is that you can pick two different students to throw a party, and after the party is over, a new type of student appears.
Different students that can be unlocked from parties are the student government, gamers, cheerleaders, dancers, actors, filmmakers, and the homecoming queen and king. These “combination” types can be put in the hangout of any of their types – for example, the gamer can go in either the jock or nerd hangout.
Also later on in the game, you’ll be able to unlock the Isle of Love. This allows you to send any two students that you want on a date, regardless of gender or clique. You don’t get any immediate bonuses, but for each five successful dates, they earn a heart and advance the relationship, which can earn you a bonus of coins or better.
