Puzzle Trooper Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats and Strategies

Puzzle Trooper is a new game by Kabam, with similar gameplay to Puzzle & Dragons, but a whole lot funnier. You play as the commander of either the Iron Bulls, Green Gorillas or Aqua Marines, and your goal is to quest throughout a number of lands in order to fight and defeat E.V.I.L. or the Evil Villains In League. Read on for some tips and tricks for Puzzle Trooper!

Red beats green, green beats blue, blue beats red, and yellow and purple beat each other. If you have a large list of backup soldiers, organize your team around what you find in the world that you’re presently in. If you are in a green level, such as The Sore Shores III, then load up on red teammates. Or simply put the strongest fighters on your team, colors mixed up as evenly as possible, so that you can always have an edge. Switch it up if you are having trouble with a certain configuration on one level.

When you can’t beat a particular level, go back to old levels and beat them over again, so that you can earn more cards to use for evolution and for gaining experience points.

If you’re looking for the right materials to evolve a max level card, first, go to the max level card’s profile and it will show you what you need to get. If you can evolve it with what you have, the “evolve” button will light up. Usually, you’ll need a certain mix of other soldiers in order to evolve a card, most of which can be earned in the main stages.

However, if you can’t find them, go to the special event stages and beat them, and you’ll find soldiers that you wouldn’t find otherwise. Even if you aren’t at max level, go to the special event stages and often you can find rare and powerful soldiers that you can add to your team in order to beat the difficult levels in the main missions.

Any card that you can’t add to your main battle party is either a level up unit or an evolution unit. Tap on their profile in order to figure out which one they are before you sell them or use them for anything.
