X-Men: Battle of the Atom – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats and Strategies

X-Men: Battle of the Atom is a new card battling game for the iOS platform. This game takes you through 50 years of X-Men history with multiple versions of your favorite characters, and even bit characters who aren’t all that common make an appearance as well. You can go through multiple heroes’ quests, collect cards and power up your team, and even evolve your cards to make stronger mutants. Read on for some tips and tricks for X-Men: Battle of the Atom!

You have two choices of attacks during the mission battles. You can either attack using your mission leader, or summon one or all of the five characters on the list at the bottom of the screen to attack. For practical purposes, there is absolutely no reason to summon less than five of those characters, because all of the possible bonuses (team and communication bonuses) will be earned if you summon everyone. So hit “Ready All” to do the maximum possible damage.

You’ll earn lots of new characters just by completing missions, or by taking your recruit points and spending them on new recruits. Always look to evolve characters, as each evolution increases rarity of a character by one point. If you start to run out of room in your inventory, though, use the transfusion to clear space and to power up the main members of your squad. The rarest members should be the ones to get the power ups, because they are the least likely to be replaced.

Every time that you make a big change to your team, go to the Squad area and redo your entire team all at once by hitting auto-rebuild. Ignore this if you build the team yourself (to maximize bonuses or for any other reason), but auto-setting your team automatically builds the strongest team. You need to manually keep up though in order to keep your team strong.

If you want to play for as long as possible at a time, use all of the skill points that you earned from completing missions and leveling up to improve your stamina. Improving your stamina allows you to complete more missions, meaning you will earn more experience points, and every time that you gain and experience level, your stamina will be refilled entirely.
