Flappy Bird came in like a wrecking ball – and then when it was taken down, all it did was bree-eeak everyone! So somehow, it seems kind of fitting that there is now a clone of Flappy Bird featuring Miley Cyrus’ head. In Flying Cyrus – Wrecking Ball, you have to try to bounce her head through obstacles – only instead of pipes, now it’s wrecking balls and hammers. It’s also one of the more difficult of the clone games. Read on for some tips and tricks for Flying Cyrus – Wrecking Ball!
The main tip is to figure out the rhythm with which to keep Miley’s head flying straight. If you tap the screen at 120 BPM, or, ironically, to the beat of the actual Wrecking Ball song, her head will keep on flying straight. Stay around the middle of the screen using this rhythm.
The sprites in this game are far larger than they are in Flappy Bird, so you will have to be that much more careful when you’re taking Miley’s head for a flight. Try to aim for the bottom portion of the gap between the wrecking ball and the hammer, and bounce JUST before you’re about to fall on the pipe. Much higher, and you will end up smashing into the wrecking ball.
Just like Flappy and it’s other clones, the main thing is to RELAX when you are playing this game. If you don’t relax, you will end up extremely frustrated and dying very early on in the run. If you need to, take a break for an hour or two, and then come back to the game and play it again.
You have seven different medals that you can earn in the game. To earn the green medal you have to earn 10 points, and the medals go all the way up to the gold medal at 70 points.
If you can manage to get 70 in this game (or even 10 in this game), go back to Flappy Bird and try to play it again. You will be surprised at how EASY Flappy Bird is, because of its smaller sprites and smoother graphics, and you’ll most likely demolish your old high score on the first try.
