Brave Bird: Flap Again – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats and Strategies

Brave Bird: Flap Again is a new game for the iOS and Android. Truth be told, it’s basically a complete clone of Flappy Bird, except that the collision detection in the game is slightly different, which makes it far more difficult than even the original game. You might notice your scores dropping if you have played both games. Read on for some tips and tricks for Brave Bird: Flap Again!

In general, the speed of the bird’s jumps and falls, as well as the height, is the same as it was in the original game. If you tap the screen at about 100 BPM, you’ll keep the bird even the entire time. A good example of 100 BPM (or thereabouts) is the rhythm for “Stayin Alive” by the Bee Gees, or slightly faster is “Another One Bites The Dust” by Queen. In general, use either of these songs as an indicator and you’ll be set.

Once you have that down, you will have to know where to aim the bird. Aim so that you jump right above the top of the bottom pipe. Do this and you will pass through the gap in the pipe almost every time. Pass too high though, and the bird will hit his head on the top pipe, destroying your run.

Just like in the original game, you will get medals for every milestone that you pass, up to fifty. Ten points will earn you a bronze medal. Twenty will earn you a silver medal. Thirty will earn you a gold medal, while 40 will earn you a platinum medal. Beyond that, you won’t get any additional medals, you’ll just get bragging rights.

Take a break from the game if you get frustrated. This is probably even more important in Brave Bird: Flap Again than in Flappy Bird, because it’s so extremely difficult to score even 10 points in this game.

The hardest pipes to pass are when you follow up a high gap with a low gap. You have to make sure not to bounce too high or bounce more than you have to in order to be able to drop far enough to pass the next pipe. Once you have this transition down, you will be ready to make extremely high scores at this game. All it takes is a good bit of practice and staying calm as you play.
