Pocket Gunfighters – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats and Strategies

Pocket Gunfighters is a new shoot-em-up by Gamevil, Inc, and Free Range Games. This new iOS and Android adventure blends card-collecting elements with shooting gameplay that resembles a cross between Front Line Commando and Fruit Ninja. Your goal is to trek through stages as Blondie and friends, shooting up loads of bad guys with pistols, shotguns, machine guns, and various other weapons. Read on for some tips and tricks for Pocket Gunfighters!

When your gunfighter dies in battle, you won’t be able to fight with them again for quite awhile. Worse, it can be VERY EASY to die in battle, due to how few lives your gunfighters have. Fortunately, though, there is an easy cheat that you can do in order to revive your gunfighters right away. Simply set the time ahead on your phone by however much time your gunfighter hast left to be revived. When you go back to the game, you will be able to use them immediately.

You can do this however many times that you want. After your gunfighter is revived, go back to the date and time settings on your phone and set the time right back to normal. Then do this trick as many times as you want or need to in order to keep playing for an unlimited amount of time.

If you don’t want to mess with the time, though, the easiest way to survive and thrive is to 1) have more gunfighters, obviously. But otherwise, use the upgrade function to give your gunfighters more hearts. Typically, this is a far more important upgrade than most of the others, although increasing the ammo is good, too, or the blast radius (for shotguns).

When using pistols, you can tap enemies instead of swiping them if there are only one or two on screen, if you just want to kill one at a time. You don’t have to swipe in a straight line, either. You can swipe with complete zig zags or with the messiest swipes ever in order to make huge combos. Make sure to manually reload during slow times so that you don’t run out of ammo in the middle of a shootout, though if you do, you can always slide back and forth in order to avoid their attacks.

Always be sure to keep checking back at the achievements area. You won’t get notifications when you complete achievements, but if you go back and collect them, you can collect thousands of coins at once, or even stars.
