Bubble Witch Saga 2 is the first direct sequel ever released (as far as is currently known) by King.com, makers of Candy Crush Saga and, of course, the original Bubble Witch Saga. Unlike the rest, Bubble Witch Saga 2 is now available on Android, Facebook and iOS all at the same time. The gameplay is mostly the same, with an extra dose of cute added to the original formula. Read on for some tips and tricks for Bubble Witch Saga 2!
You get up to five lives in this game, and if you win a stage, you keep them, but if you lose a stage, you lose a life. You’ll want to be connected via Facebook no matter what platform you are using, so that you and your friends can send lives back and forth. You’ll most likely have at least one friend playing this game within a week of release, but if not, find people on the comments section here, Facebook pages for the game, or App Store review pages who want “add me” requests, or you can post your own requests.
Or you can set the time ahead on your phone in order to have all of your lives restored. Note that this may only work if you are disconnected from Facebook, but if you set the time ahead on your phone or tablet by half an hour per life lost, you’ll get a free full refill. Then, go back to the game, then go back to date and time and set the time back to normal. Then go back to the game again and all of your lives will still be there.
Make consecutive matches in a row in order to rack up combos (denoted by 3 hit!, 4 hit!, etc). The longer the combo, the more spiders will appear on the bottom of the screen, which act as point-scoring pinball posts when bubbles fall. And once your combo gets long enough, you will score double-points per combo for a limited time.
Practice banking shots off of the wall. The non-banked shots are very easy and straightforward to make due to the dotted line that helps you aim, but with banked shots, the dotted line cuts off at the wall. So your goal is to guess where the ball will be after the bounce. The more accurate you are, the better the combos that you will make.
There is no real bonus to finishing extremely quickly, aside from the extra bouncing bubbles at the end of the round if you drop a lot of hanging bubbles. If you want to get a few extra points, make a few short combos in a row at the bottom of the bubble stack so that you have more spiders to bounce the bubbles off of.
