Madden NFL Mobile – Tips and Cheats: The Strategy Guide

Madden NFL Mobile is the latest in the mobile Madden games, and the second one that’s gone F2P, after last year’s Madden NFL 25. Half football game and half card-battling collection game, this might draw the consternation of fans who are expecting something exactly like the console experience, but for anyone who wants to play some football on their phone, it can’t be beat. Read on for some tips and tricks for Madden NFL Mobile!

The football games are fun to play, and fairly easy as long as the teams are evenly matched (or as long as your team is more powerful). Your overall team ranking is a combined total of everyone on your team combined, offense, defense and special teams. To increase your team ranking, purchase new player cards and gradually power up your team using one of many methods.

You can buy card packs, but arguably the most fun method is the live auction area in the marketplace. Run your stamina out and then spend your recovery time (and your coins) in the market. Other players can post up their cards here, as can you. It’s recommended to take any position in which you have a surplus of talent, sell off the extras, and then use the coins to purchase stronger cards for weak positions. Or, if you’re extra savvy, engage in some marketplace arbitrage.

The way to do this is to find a player who’s going for a far lower price than their stats and rarity indicate that they are worth, and purchase them. Wait until the last second of an auction if you have to. Then, sell them again but with a higher minimum and a higher buy it now price, but still low enough to realistically draw buyers. Buy and sell cards for a profit and put these extra coins toward stronger and stronger cards.

As much consternation as is typically drawn by F2P games, you can dominate all of the whales and the pay to win crowd with some savvy trading. There is no need to spend money on coins or cash. To earn more coins, blow out all of your stamina on the season mode, PvP (head to head) and on event modes.

In the game mode itself, there are 100 different ways to skin a cat, but one interesting tidbit is that the enemy AI doesn’t seem to have figured out a way to deal with quarterback scrambles or wildcat-style plays. If you don’t get blitzed right at the beginning, then your quarterback will end up with almost complete impunity when he runs. Take advantage of this for some EXTREMELY easy first downs, especially if you are lucky enough to end up with someone like Wilson or Kaepernick as your QB.
