Wipeout 2 (iOS/Android version) – The Ultimate Tips, Cheats and Strategy Guide

Wipeout 2 is Activision and The Future Games of London’s latest release for the iOS, Android and Kindle Fire platforms. Being based off of the TV show, the plot is of course predictable, but as expected for a TV show that is essentially the real-life version of Super Mario 64, the game version is an insanely tough and challenging platformer with a nearly endless amount of levels. Read on for some tips and tricks for Wipeout 2!

-You can earn 1, 2, or 3 stars for each stage. The timer at the top of the screen tells you how much time you have until you lose a star, not until the level times out.
-Slow down a little bit so that you can avoid the various obstacles and time your jumps properly.
-Avoid the various swinging objects. Time your runs so that you get through without getting wiped out. There’s no funny commentary unlike the show so there’s no point in wiping out.

-The Big Balls are rather tough to aim on. Try to land on the far side of the balls, or more towards the center, and aim for a safe spot on the next ball.
-If you fall, get up and try again. Use your rewind if you really must win the stage or if it’s one that has been frustrating you and you just want to win.

-You have an opponent on each stage that you race against. Your ultimate goal is to stay ahead of them, though it is still possible to earn three stars and lose to your opponent.
-You might lose ground to your opponent in each parts of the stage such as the straight runs; however, on tough stages like the big balls, expect to make it back easily.

-You have different side quests that you can complete for each stage which will earn you bonus coins and experience.
-To recover all of your energy back instantly, go to the date and time settings on your phone or tablet and set the time ahead on your phone.
-Set the time on your phone back to normal if you so choose to, and then you will still keep your full recovery.

-Build collections of all of the characters, or as many as you can. Each one has their own advantages and disadvantages.
-Each character has four stats: speed, slide, recovery and air control. The more you play, the more you level up your character and thus boost their stats.
-Play the round of the day as close to the end of the day as possible, or while you’re on a roll, because typically it will be one of the harder stages out of your selection.
