Jungle Cubes – Guide: Tips, Cheats and Strategies

Jungle Cubes is a new match-three puzzle game by Pocket Playlab, the company that developed Juice Cubes and release it under publisher Rovio Stars’ label. Jungle Cubes is a surprisingly innovative game that takes the Puzzle and Dragons style of matching three (dragging one piece around and displacing other pieces), and transfers it, for the first time, to an non-RPG. Read on for some tips and tricks for Jungle Cubes!

When you drag a cube around, every cube that it passes through will be displaced by one square. You can only drag a cube for one second at a time before it goes flying back to its original spot, so be sure to let it go after you’re happy with the combos that you’ve made, but start making moves as quickly as possible in order to maximize your score.

You can make all kinds of combos, including matches of 6 in a row, or of a nearly limitless amount of cubes in T, L or + shapes, or anything in between. Special tiles pop up similar to Candy Crush and Farm Heroes, with four in a row giving you a line-clearing tile, an L, T or + giving you a bomb tile, and 5 in a row giving you a rainbow tile that clears out all of one piece.

Like many games of this genre you begin with 5 lives, and if you lose a stage you lose a life. If you lose a life it takes 30 minutes to wait for it to come back, unless you start asking your Facebook friends who play the game for lives. If you have none who do, then make a second Facebook account and find people to add who play this game. (search for Jungle Cubes or Juice Cubes groups)

If you want to get all of your lives back right away, set the time ahead on your phone by between 30 minutes and 2 hours, 30 minutes, depending on how many lives you need to recover. Once you go back to the game, all of your lives will be recovered.

Better yet, you can do this trick as many times as you want. At any point in time you can go to the date and time settings on your phone or tablet and set the time back to normal. Then, when you go back to the game, all of the free lives that you earned using the cheat will still be there – unless, of course, you spent them all already.

Finish a stage with as many leftover moves as possible, so that at the end, they will be converted into blast tiles that blow up one row and one column apiece. Finish with a high number of moves left and they often end up blasting apart the entire stage, causing residual combos to make it so that loads of special tiles start popping up, which then get blown up, and so on and so forth. Tl:dr; the move moves left at the end, the bigger the chain reaction.
