Circle Pong is a new twist on the classic Pong concept for the iOS and Android, as well as web browsers. It’s a one player version of Pong, with the paddle going around in a circle, and your mission is to tap to change the direction of the spinning paddle so that you can continue hitting the ball. The more you hit the ball, the higher your score will be. Read on for some tips and tricks for Circle Pong!
The first tap will send the paddle spinning, and the second tap will release the ball straight downward without changing the direction of the paddle. After that, the ball will be on its own trajectory, and the paddle will be under your control. Work out the timing of the ball and the paddle – it seems tough but it gets a whole lot easier.
Try to reach the ball with as few taps as possible. Let the paddle go a bit past where you want it to be, then reverse. The more times you have to hit the screen to get the paddle to the right place, the more erratic and haphazard a task it becomes to actually get it there.
However, two big things to keep in mind are the following. The ball will always move at the same speed, and the paddle will always move at the same speed. That will make it much easier to time the ball and keep playing for a long time. Scores well over a hundred will be easy to get, as long as you don’t get too bored and lose focus.
Try to knock the ball slightly cockeyed. If you do it right, you’ll be able to just let the paddle keep spinning in a circle over and over, and it will meet the ball without you having to tap anything. Theoretically, if you time it right, you can get it so that the paddle and ball keep going in a circle/triangle forever, but it’s pretty common to get a few good points out of it.
If you want to play without the ads, all you have to do is put your phone in airplane mode, or turn off the cellular and wifi. However, it’s not recommended that you do this because the ads are not very intrusive and they are the developer’s way of making a living. So don’t turn them off unless they are really, REALLY bugging you.
