Rescue Quest: Tips, Tricks, Cheats, and Strategy Guide

Rescue Quest is a new match three game for the iPhone and iPad. Unlike the majority of them out there, which are essentially the same as Candy Crush Saga but with a few changes here and there, this one stands out on its own as a combination of the match three gameplay and the Diamond Digger style of exploration. Read on for some tips and tricks for Rescue Quest!

This is one of the few match three games where you can’t use the time lapse cheat to set the time ahead for extra lives. However, if you connect the game to Facebook, you and your friends can send lives back and forth. If you don’t have any friends who play the game, invite people who play match three games (everyone knows at least one person).

Otherwise, the best idea is to have a second Facebook account for playing games and adding people who play them. Go to fan pages for Rescue Quest and go find people who play, then add them. Or look for people with add me requests in the App Store review page or in the comment section of this article, or post your own Add Me request somewhere.

Always look around and see where you need to get to before you start making matches. Drag the screen around by tapping outside of the play area and dragging, or just tap with two fingers and drag the screen around. Don’t tap with one finger inside of the play area or you could end up accidentally clearing some gems and wasting a move.

Making four in a row, making a T or an L, or making five in a row gives you special pieces. Combine the line clearing piece and the bomb piece to make a big bomb, and combine the rainbow piece and a bomb piece or a line piece to change every single piece of that color into a bomb piece or a line piece.

This only goes for the gems on the screen, though, so before you mix two special pieces together, or even use a rainbow piece, scroll the screen over as far as you can, as close to the end of the stage as you can get, and then make the combo.
