More than 80 years ago, a legendary diamond was lost in the Caribbean. The treasure hunter Annie will recover the gem.
Whether you use this document as a reference when things get difficult or as a road map to get you from beginning to end, we’re pretty sure you’ll find what you’re looking for here.
This document contains a complete Curse of the Ghost Ship game walkthrough featuring annotated screenshots from actual gameplay!

General Tips
- You can adjust the music and sound effects, volume and brightness and turn off or on the search list while you are playing game.
- When you are stuck in the game, click on the compass at the bottom right side of the screen to get a hint (A).
- You can use three hints at the same time. Before you get another hint, it takes a while to fill up the hint button.
- The notes in the bottom left corner show your progress and recent conversations (B).
- Always you can save and quit the game from the menu button on top of the notes icon (C).
- There are 4 different kinds of cursor.
- Big arrow: Exit a room or move to a different scene (D).
- Round arrow: closing the conversation or information (E).
- Magnifying glass: searching for more details, using inventory items in a spot, starting a Hidden Object Scene or puzzle (F).
- Open hand: taking an inventory item (G).
- Most inventory items are highlighted in red in this guide.
- Most Hidden Object Scene spots and puzzle spots are highlighted in green in this guide.
- Most spots where you need to get more details are highlighted in yellow in this guide.
- When you skip a puzzle, you have to spend all three hints.
Chapter 1: Ten p.m.
- Find the HAMMER highlighted in red.
- Click on the door highlighted in yellow in the left to check the door is locked.
- Click on the hole in the floor highlighted in yellow to find out you can take the floor part.
- Open the Hidden Object Scene highlighted in green (H).
- Find 9 objects listed at the bottom.
- You will receive the HAMMER HEAD after this scene.
- After finding all objects, click on the bottom side to move next scene.
- Combine the STICK and HAMMER HEAD in the inventory by dragging one over the other item.
- Fix the ladder joints with the HAMMER. Click the HAMMER and drag to the two joints.
- Climb down the ladder.
- Click on the door highlighted in yellow in the left to check the door is locked.
- Click on the fuse box highlighted in yellow to find out you need lock pick to fix it.
- Collect the YELLOW SPONGE in the bottom right corner.
- Collect the FRAGMENT FROM A HATCH WHEEL.
- Click on the sign on the wall to start the puzzle (P).
- Place the SPONGE from the inventory in the right square (1).
- Place three tiles by following the sequence on the top.
- The point of the arrow is same way with the green spot (2).
- The top line is getting darker from the left side. The bottom line is getting lighter from the left side (3).
- The whales match the ship on the top line and the book matches the anchor. (4).
- Talk with the ghost.
- Open the right door.
- Click on the boxes highlighted in yellow to check there is the path over the junks.
- Collect the BROOM highlighted in red.
- Click on the bottom side to move the next scene.
- Collect another FRAGMENT FROM A HATCH WHEEL (1).
- Try to climb up the ladder (2).
- Clear away those boxes with the BROOM (3).
- Climb up the ladder (4).
- Collect the SCREWDRIVER at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on the wooden box in the bottom right corner to start the next Hidden Object Scene (H).
- Find 9 objects listed at the bottom.
- You will receive the other FRAGMENT FROM A HATCH WHEEL after this scene.
- Climb down the ladder.
- Talk with the ghost.
- Combine the FRAGMENTS FROM A HATCH WHEEL in your inventory (1).
- Combine the FRAGMENTS and the GHOST in your inventory to fix the WHEEL (2).
- Place the WHEEL on the door (3).
- Open the door to enter the room.
Chapter 2: Eleven p.m.
- Collect the PIECE OF GLASS on the floor (1).
- Click on the valve with smoke coming out near it. The ghost will show up again.
- Talk with the ghost.
- Drag the GHOST to the valve (2).
- Open the double door to enter the kitchen.
- Remove the ventilation cover with the SCREWDRIVER.
- You will receive the HANDKERCHIEF highlighted in yellow automatically.
- Click on the kitchen counter to move to the next Hidden Object Scene (H).
- Find 9 objects listed at the bottom.
- You will receive the BOTTLE OF OIL.
- Exit the kitchen.
- Collect the FEMALE FIGURE highlighted in red in the bottom right corner.
- Click on the door on the right to check that you can’t see anything.
- Keep going straight forward on the deck by clicking the middle.
- Ring the bell on the wall (1).
- Click on the door in the middle (2).
- Use the wine bottle to the knob to lubricate it (3).
- Exit the scene and go down the deck to go another side of the deck.
- Collect the MUSICAL NOTE highlighted in red.
- Click on the cart in the bottom right corner to start the next Hidden Object Scene (H).
- After finding all objects, click on the door in the middle.
- Click the door knob to find the KEY is stuck inside.
- Find 9 objects listed at the bottom.
- You will receive the FONDUE FORK after this scene.
- Place the MUSICAL NOTE under the door (1).
- Use the FONDUE FORK to push the key (2).
- Click the MUSICAL NOTE again to get the KEY.
- Open the door with the KEY.
- Collect the LADY’S GROVE (3).
- Enter the right room (4).
Chapter 3: Twelve a.m.
- Click on the bed in the middle to start the Hidden Object Scene (H).
- Find 9 objects listed at the bottom.
- You will receive the KEY.
- Exit the room and move to the deck again.
- Open the door with the KEY.
- Enter the room.
- Collect the CHESS PIECE in the bottom left corner.
- Open the safe behind the painting.
- Look closer to start the puzzle.
- First, you need to move three rings from the bottom to top. (The biggest ring is already in the top).
- Move the smallest disk to the middle.
- Move the middle disk to the top.
- Move the smallest disk to the top.
- Move the biggest disk to the middle.
- Move the smallest disk to the middle.
- Move the middle disk to the bottom.
- Move the smallest disk to the bottom.
- Move the biggest disk to the top.
- Stack the middle and smallest disk on top of the biggest disk in the top.
- You should then see the completed first one.
- Next, you need to move all of the four disks from the top to the middle.
- Move the smallest disk to the bottom.
- Move the middle disk to the middle.
- Move the smallest disk to the middle.
- Move the second biggest disk to the right bottom.
- Move the smallest disk to the top and the middle disk to the bottom.
- Move the smallest disk to the top of the large pile and move the largest disk to the middle.
- Move the smallest disk on top of the largest disk, the second disk to the top position and then the smallest disk on top of that.
- Stack the second largest and the smallest on the largest in the middle, move the second smallest disk to the bottom, and then put the smallest disk on the bottom as well.
- Move the second largest disk to the top and stack the smaller disks on it. Move the largest disk to the bottom most spindle.
- Collect the PASSENGER LIST in the safe.
- Exit the room and go back to the deck.
- Move to downstairs.
- Go to the lounge in the right side.
- Click on the box with two holes on the table.
- Place two CHESS PIECES in your inventory to the holes.
- Place all of the 8 queens on the chess boards.
- A queen can move in any direction up, down, left, right and the four diagonals.
- Set up the queens in a way that none of the queens can move to the location of another queen.
- There are many different solutions in this puzzle. The screenshot is one of the solutions.
Chapter 4: One a.m
- Click on the ventilation grill on the entrance of the restaurant and casino (1).
- Make sure you have the PASSENGER LIST in your inventory. If you don’t, go back to the cock pit. Click on the safe behind the painting and solve the puzzle.
- Talk with the GHOST.
- Drag the GHOST to the ventilation.
- Drag the ghost to the key.
- Click on the top of the poker table in the right.
- Find 9 differences between those two bills.
- Click on the table in the left.
- Find 9 objects listed at the bottom.
- You will get the FEATHER BOA.
- Collect the CROWBAR (1).
- Keep going toward the clock.
- Click on the clock to check.
- Collect the KEY (2).
- Return to the room.
- Open the door with the KEY to go to the deck (3).
- Use the crowbar to remove the floor tile (4).
- Place the FEATHER BOA into the hole (5).
- Move to the basement from the hole.
Chapter 5: Two a.m.
- Click on the chest in the middle of the screen.
- This mini-game is like a game of memory.
- Click on three cards to flip them over. If they all match they will be removed.
- Remove all the cards to finish this puzzle.
- The solution might be different in your play-through.
- You will receive the GUN.
- Go straight the path.
- Combine the PIECE OF GLASS and the HANDKERCHIEF in the inventory.
- Drag to the MAP OF THE SHIP to cut it out.
- Back to the restaurant.
- Collect the BULB with the LADY’S GLOVE in the inventory.
- Back to the kitchen.
- Go through the ventilation in the middle of the screen.
Chapter 6: Three a.m
- Place the BULB on the light (1).
- Click on the man who is laying in the bed to find that he is dead.
- Collect the BLUE BLANKET (2).
- Click on the typewriter to check it (3).
- Return to the deck and go to the cockpit (4).
- Click on the trash can to collect the BOOK.
- Go back to the room that you found the typewriter through the kitchen.
- Drag the BOOK over the typewriter.
- Check the wall with papers and the dead person highlighted in yellow.
- Click on the drawer in the desk (H).
- Find 9 objects listed at the bottom.
- You will get the LOCK PICK.
- Exit the room.
- Return to the restaurant.
- Place the BLUE BLANKET on the floor in the bottom left corner (1).
- Click on the HELMET on the ceiling (2).
- The ghost will show up.
- Drag the GHOST to the HELMET (3).
- Collect the HELMET.
- If you can’t drag the ghost over the helmet, you should exit the room and come back again to talk with the ghost.
- Return to the deck with switch.
- Drag the LOCK PICK to the switch with red light.
- The lines from the top of the screen are connected to symbols.
- There is another row of symbols at the bottom.
- Rearrange them so that the lines in the middle connect the same symbols together.
- Refer to the image for the solution.
- Click the CRANE and move the boxes in the middle.
- Go down the hole.
Chapter 7: Four a.m
- Collect the BOLT CUTTERS, LEATHER WORK GLOVES and the WRENCH.
- Enter the next room.
- Click on the overcoat to get the SQUARE KEY (1).
- Click on the fire box door (2).
- Talk with the GHOST.
- Drag the GHOST to the fire box door to close it (3).
- Enter the next room.
- Use WRENCH to take off the hose in the middle (4).
- Open the valve.
- Return to the deck (5).
- Climb the ladder.
- Open the box with the SQUARE KEY (6).
- Collect the DIVING SUIT (7).
- Return to the boiler room again.
- Combine the DIVING SUIT and the HELMET (8).
- Down to the underwater (9).
- Click on the man in the right of the screen.
- Find 9 objects listed at the bottom.
- You will get the DIAMOND.
- Return to the previous room.
- Click on the DIAMOND in front of the fire box to start the puzzle.
- Play the Reversi with the ghost.
- Your color is red and always you have to start first.
- Place your pieces down and if your pieces surround the ghost’s pieces in a row or column, they will flip over.
- Try to get corners and edges to win against the ghost, because if you can get an edge the ghost cannot flip your pieces anymore from that direction.
- If you lose, you can’t clear the puzzle.
- After the solving the puzzle, the ghost will try to get you.
- Use the GUN to kill him.
- Return to the deck.
- The boat will start pitching and you will be stuck on the deck.
Chapter 8: Five a.m.
- Climb up the left ladder.
- Drag the WORK GLOVES to the life boat in the right side.
- Cut the rope to the boat with the CUTTER.
- Congratulations! You Finished Curse of the Ghost Ship!
