Local painter Christina Falk asks Carol for help regarding some strange recent occurrences. When Christina is found dead, Carol is drawn into a 600 year old mystery.

General Tips
- Before the game starts, a window in which you can select certain game settings appears. Normally, you can start the game with the default configuration. If you’re using a widescreen monitor, checking the ‘Maintain aspect ratio’ box is highly recommended. Some players find it convenient to play the game in windowed mode.
- The game opens up with the main menu.
- You can manually save your game wherever you like. Right-click or hit escape to open the main menu. Select ‘Save’, and click on an empty slot.
- You can load each saved game by selecting ‘Load’ from the main menu.
- In the options screen you can adjust music, voice, and sound volumes, and toggle subtitles on and off.
- You can play a brief tutorial on movement and inventory interaction at the beginning of the game.
Chapter 1
- Answer the ringing phone by clicking on it.
- Talk to Christina Falk. She wants to meet you tomorrow at the Art Museum.
- After the dialogue, the MOBILE PHONE is automatically placed in your inventory.
- Note the icon that tells you that the Art Museum is added to the map.
- Move the mouse cursor to the right of the screen and see that it turns into an arrow. Click on it look to the right. Repeat in the next screen. You have now turned 180 degrees.
- Click the forward arrow once, and then turn to the right.
- There are some papers on the kitchen table. Pick them up by clicking on them.
- Read the unfinished letter. Click on it, and Carol comments that she must finish the letter.
- There is a yellow note behind the letter, on the left side. Click on that note. It’s an advertisement for Stina’s Smoke Shack. It is added as a new location on the map.
- Put back the papers on the kitchen table by clicking the back-arrow at the bottom of the screen.
- Go left and forward, and read the message about the game menu. Remember to save often!
- Click to remove the message, and then turn left three times. Click the door handle to go to the map for the first time.
- Go to Stina’s shop from the map.
- Click on the door to enter the shop.
- This is your old friend Stina. Talk to her by clicking the questions on the notepad. After the second question, you automatically exit the shop. It is now night.
- Enter the bathroom, immediately to the right in the hallway.
- In the bathroom, walk forward twice, and then face left.
- Look at the stuff in front of the mirror in close-up.
- Pick up a toothbrush.
- Carol will automatically brush her teeth. Exit the close-up, and exit the bathroom.
- Turn right, walk forward twice, and turn right again. Walk forward once, and click the sleep icon to hit the sack.
- After a night’s sleep, you are automatically transported to the map. Go to The Art Museum.
- Talk to the man at the museum. You learn that Christina Falk is dead, and that you can read about it in the papers.
- Go to Stina’s shop and talk to Stina again, and ask her all questions. Stina shows you a newspaper clipping, which gives you the address to Christina Falk’s house.
- From outside Stina’s shop, choose one of the exits to go to the map.
- Select Christina’s house on the map.
- Open the gate, and turn right. Pick up the WOODEN CHAIR.
- Turn left twice, walk forward, and turn right. Place the wooden chair beneath the window.
- Step on the chair, and enter the house through the window.
- Walk forward, and turn left. Pick up the POSTCARD to the left of the lamp, and flip it.
- There is a proof for a calling card under the postcard. It gives you the address to Christina’s art studio, which appears on the map.
- Turn right, walk forward twice, turn left twice, walk forward, and then turn left. There is a miniature pool table on the bar. Pick up the MINIATURE CUE STICK from the pool table. (On the illustrations, items that are stored in your inventory are always set in blue type).
- Go left, forward, right, forward, left, forward, and right. Go up the stairs to get to the upper floor.
- On the upper floor, walk forward through the door to the right, and turn left. There is a paper on a blue chest to the left of the door. Look at the blue chest in close-up.
- Pick up the paper from the chest.
- You learn that Christina’s art studio can be opened by kicking the lower right corner of the door.
- Put back the paper by clicking the back-arrow at the bottom of the screen. Exit the close-up.
- Exit the house through the front door by going left, right, down, and right twice. Exit Christina’s grounds by going either left or right on the road outside her house.
- Select Christina’s art studio on the map.
- Turn left, and look at the door in close-up.
- Open the door by kicking it at the lower right corner, where a foot icon appears.
- Turn right, and walk forward. Walk forward at the right side of the room. Look at the painting in close-up. Carol comments that the motif on the painting is the same as on the postcard.
- Take the NAIL FILE on the easel.
- Exit the close-up, exit the art studio and go to the map.
- Go to Christina’s house from the map.
- Enter through the front door of the house by opening the gate, walking forward, turning left, and open the door.
- Turn left, and open the door.
- Walk down the stairs, and then forward. Turn left, and look at the small square panel in the wall in close-up.
- Left click on the square panel to trigger a comment from Carol.
- Use the NAIL FILE on the square panel in the wall.
- Take the KEY hanging on the pipe.
- Put back the square panel by clicking the back arrow at the bottom of the screen, and exit the close-up.
- Go up the stairs by going left, forward, left, forward, and open the door.
- Go left, forward, right, forward, and left. Look at the green cupboard in close-up.
- Use the KEY in the keyhole on the green cupboard.
- Lift the small envelope to the right in the cupboard.
- Open the envelope by clicking its upper part.
- Take the yellow note sticking out from the envelope.
- The note gives you the location to the Alvastra Monastery Ruin, which is added to the map.
- Put back the envelope by clicking the back arrow at the bottom of the screen.
- Close the cupboard by clicking the door.
- Exit the ¬close-up of the cupboard, exit Christina’s house, and go to the map.
- Go to the Alvastra Monastery Ruin from the map.
- Go left, forward, left, forward three times, left, forward, and right. Look at the sign in close-up.
- Exit the close-up.
- Go right, forward, left, and forward. Carol says that this must be the way to the abbot’s room. Walk forward three times, left, forward, left, and forward.
- Find the red stone in the wall. Look at it in close-up.
- Lift the note under the red stone.
- Take THE NOTE FROM THE ABBOT’S ROOM.
- Go left, left, forward, right, forward 7 times, right, forward and right. Enter the small dark door, and turn right.
- Look at the uppermost hole in the wall in close-up.
- Get the note from the hole. There is also a telephone beside it. The note tells you where Christina’s summer house is.
- Pick up CHRISTINA’S TELEPHONE.
- Exit the monastery by turning right and continue forward.
Chapter 2
- Choose Christina’s summer house from the map.
- Walk forward, and then left twice. Look at the doormat in close-up.
- Lift the doormat, and retrieve the FUNKY KEY from under it.
- Exit the close-up of the doormat. Try to open the door with the hand icon. It’s locked. Use the FUNKY KEY to open the door.
- Open the door to the bathroom right in front of you, and turn left.
- Take the SCISSORS from the shelf.
- Turn right and walk forward to exit the bathroom.
- Go left, forward, left, forward, and right. Look at the red juice package on the table in close-up.
- Take the STRAW from the juice package. Exit the close-up.
- Turn left twice. Look at the cushion on the sofa in close-up, and lift it.
- Take the notebook from under the cushion.
- Open the notebook.
- There are some interesting numbers, ’3412′, in the notebook.
- Put back the notebook by using the back arrow.
- Put back the cushion, and exit the close-up.
- Exit the summer house, and go to the map.
- Go to Christina’s house from the map.
- Enter the house by opening the gate, walking forward, turning left, and open the door.
- Turn left, and open the door.
- Walk down the stairs, and then turn left twice. Open the door in front of you.
- Pick up the small framed blue picture in the middle.
- Note that two chess pieces are placed on the same square.
- Put back the picture by using the back arrow, and close the door the same way.
- Turn left, and walk forward. Open the door.
- Go left, forward, right, forward, and left. Look at the green cupboard in close-up.
- Open the green cupboard (you don’t have to use the key anymore).
- Pick up the box that looks like a chessboard.
- Press the same square that had two pieces on it on the framed picture twice.
- Pick up the letter inside the box.
- Put back the letter by using the back arrow. Put back the box and close the cupboard, also using the back arrow.
- Exit the ¬close-up of the cupboard, exit Christina’s house, and go to the map.
- Go to Stina’s shop and ask her about the green roof.
- Go left three times, left, forward, left, forward, and up the stairs. Go forward twice, left, and forward.
- Turn left, and look at the close-up of the building with the green roof. The Nylon Factory appears on the map.
- Exit the Industrial Museum.
- Select Christina’s house on the map.
- Enter the house by opening the gate, walking forward, turning left, and open the door. Turn left and go up the stairs. Go forward through the door, left, forward, and right. Open the door. Lift the box.
- Each of the diamond shaped squares on the box produces a number of knocking-like sounds, and colors. Press the squares so that the sounds matches the order of the numbers on the notebook in Christina’s summer house (3, 4, 1, and 2). That equals the colors purple, red, green, and blue.
- Take the HANDLE from inside the box.
- Close the box, put it back, and close the door, using the back arrow for all actions.
- Go right, forward, right, forward, and right twice. Go up the stairs to the attic. Turn left, and look at the trapdoor in the ceiling in close-up. Look at the trapdoor with the magnifying glass to trigger a comment from Carol. Open it using the HANDLE from the box with the diamond shaped squares.
- Take the envelope from inside the trapdoor.
- Take the KEY TO THE NYLON FACTORY.
- Put back the envelope using the back arrow, close the trapdoor, and exit the close-up.
- Exit Christina’s house, and go to the map.
- Go to Christina’s art studio.
- Enter the studio by either kicking the door, or opening it with the handle.
- Turn left and then right. Walk forward at the left side of the room. Walk forward two more times, and turn left. Pick up the newspaper clipping at the left side of the table.
- Pick up the MAGNETIC STRIPE CARD.
- Put back the newspaper clipping using the back arrow.
- Turn left, and walk forward five times, and then turn right.
- Use the magnetic stripe card to open the door.
- Take the LOCK OIL from behind the painting.
- Close the door.
- Answer the phone, and talk to Jonas.
- Exit the art studio, and go to the map.
- Walk forward to jump over the green fence.
- Walk forward twice. Try to open the door. It’s locked.
- Combine the SCISSORS with the STRAW to make a CUT STRAW.
- Combine the LOCK OIL with the CUT STRAW to make LOCK OIL WITH STRAW.
- Use the LOCK OIL on the lock.
- Use the KEY TO THE NYLON FACTORY on the lock to unlock and open the door.
- Walk forward twice. Continue to walk forward at the left side of the screen, towards the stairs. Go right, forward, right, forward, and right. Look at the floor of the green lockers in close-up.
- Pick up the brown box in the left locker.
- Open the box, and take the RAZOR.
- Close the box, and exit the close-up.
- Go left, forward, and left. There is something on one of the shelves on the left side. Look at it in close-up.
- Take the ROPE from the uppermost left shelf.
- Exit the factory. You have to jump over the green fence to get out.
- Select Christina’s art studio from the map.
- Enter the studio.
- Turn right, forward, and walk forward. Walk forward at the right side of the room. Continue to walk forward twice, and then turn right.
- Look at the biscuit tin lid in close-up.
- Use the RAZOR twice on the biscuit tin lid to reveal some symbols.
- Take the BISQUIT TIN LID.
- Go right, forward three times, and left. Look at the chest in close-up.
- Press the symbols on the chest in the same order as they are portrayed on the BISQUIT TIN LID. That is, number 1, 4, 2, and 4 from the left.
- Take the letter in the chest.
- There is a note behind the letter in the chest, to the right of it. Click on it to read it.
- Take the NOTE ABOUT St. LYDIA. The Tived barn is added to the map.
- Close the chest, exit the art studio, and go to the map.
- Select the Tived barn on the map.
- Go forward three times, left, forward, and left. Open the door to the left.
- Go up the stairs in front of you. Open the door.
- Go forward and turn left. Look at the nightstand in close-up. Open the drawer.
- Pick up the paper in the drawer.
- The primitive map gives you two new map locations, Church ruin and Rauks.
- There is a clipping from a folder behind the primitive map, to the left of it. Click on it to read it.
- Put back the papers, close the drawer, and exit the close-up, by repeatedly using the back arrow.
- Go left, forward, three times, left, and forward. Open the door. Look at the yellow bucket in close-up.
- Pick up the KITCHEN SPONGE.
- Go left, forward, and left. Open the door. Turn left, and pick up the PITCHFORK.
- Exit the barn and go to the map.
- Go forward, left, forward, right, and climb up the stairs. Turn left, and pick up the COMPASS.
- Exit the church ruin area by either going left or right outside the church.
- Walk forward six times. Turn left and walk forward twice. Turn left. Look at the close-up on the ground.
- Pick up the GRAPPLING IRON.
- Exit to the map.
- Select the Nylon Factory from the map, and enter the factory. You don’t have to use the key to open the door now. Walk forward twice, and walk forward to enter the doorway to the right.
- Turn left and Carol will notice a trapdoor in the ceiling.
- Open the trapdoor with the PITCHFORK.
- Combine the ROPE with the GRAPPLING IRON and make a GRAPPLING IRON ATTACHED TO ROPE.
- Use the GRAPPLING IRON ATTACHED TO ROPE on the opened trapdoor.
- Climb the rope hanging from the trapdoor to get to the 2nd floor.
- Walk forward three times, and turn right. Lift the small box lying on the floor.
- Pick up the MATCHES.
- Exit the factory. You can now use the door at the other end of the room. Go to the map.
- Select the Tived barn on the map.
- Go forward three times, left, forward, and left. Open the door to the left.
- Go forward (not up the stairs), and the turn left. Open the door, and turn left. Open the door.
- Use the matches in the dark room.
- See if there is something useful in the wastepaper basket by using the hand icon on it.
- Read CATALOGUE, flip it and pick it up.
- Close the door by using the back arrow, exit the barn, and go to the map.
- Select the Nylon Factory from the map, and enter the factory. Walk forward twice. Continue to walk forward at the left side of the screen. Go right, forward, and left. Click on the door (which is now open).
- Walk forward three times, and look at the door in close-up.
- Use the KEY TO THE NYLON FACTORY on the locks in the following order (clockwise): 2, 1, 4, 3.
- Walk forward, and look at the white boxes in close-up.
- Pick up the paper with SYMBOLS FROM THE INNER ROOM from the second box from the top at the left side.
- Exit the close-up, and leave the factory.
- Read the text message, and return CHRISTINA’S TELEPHONE to your inventory.
- Exit to the map.
Chapter 3
- Walk forward twice, and turn left. Look at the middle board in close-up.
- Read the first and the fourth notes on the board. This will give you two new map locations, St. Lydia’s Old Church Ruins and Seamstress Eva’s home. Exit the close-up.
- Go right, forward three times, right, forward three times, right, and forward three times. Look at the altarpiece in close-up.
- Exit the church.
- Go forward, left, forward, and left. Look at the red object lying in the rectangular hole in the wall in close-up.
- Pick up the MEASURING TAPE.
- Exit to the map from either left or right from outside the church.
- Go forward, right, and forward. Open the door. Go right, forward, and left. Look at the small painting to the left of the bed in close-up. Click the magnifying glass on the painting to trigger a comment from Carol.
- Exit to the map.
- Go right, forward twice, and right. Look at the grave in close-up.
- Look at the gravestone in close-up. Click once on the gravestone to trigger a comment from Carol. Use the COMPASS on the gravestone.
- Place the MEASURING STICK on the symbol that indicates South West.
- Carol ends up in one of the small rooms. Look down.
- After Carol’s comment, look up again, turn right twice, and exit the room.
- Read the text message, and return CHRISTINA’S TELEPHONE to your inventory.
- Exit to the map.
- Look at Christina’s mailbox, to the left of the main gate, in close-up.
- Open the lid to the mailbox by clicking on its lid.
- Check out what’s inside the mailbox by using the hand icon on it.
- Take the EXTRA KEY.
- Put back the letter in the mailbox, and exit the close-up by using the back arrow twice.
- Enter Christina’s house by opening the gate, walking forward, turning left, and open the door. Turn left and go up the stairs. Turn left, and try to open the door. It’s locked.
- Use the EXTRA KEY on the lock to open the door.
- Turn left. There is a notebook on the floor in front of the toilet. Pick it up.
- Open the notebook. The first page gives you a new map location, Mysterious white house.
- Pick up the yellow NOTE FROM CHRISTINA’S DIARY from the second page.
- Continue to turn the pages in the diary by using the hand icon close to the edge of the right pages.
- Pick up the bank transfer form at the last page, and exit from the diary by using the back arrow.
- Exit Christina’s house, and go to the map.
- Go to Stina’s shop from the map, and enter the building.
- Stina shows you a newspaper clipping, which gives you a new location on the map, The Eye.
- Say goodbye to Stina, and exit to the map.
- Select The Eye on the map.
- Open the gate, and go left, forward twice, right, forward twice, right, forward, and left. Look at the black object in the left corner of the screen in close-up.
- Pick up the black object. It seems to be a small case of some kind.
- Open the case by clicking the hand icon on its top.
- See what’s inside the case by clicking the hand icon on its top.
- Pick up the SUN GLASSES.
- Go left, forward, three times, left, forward twice, left, forward, and right. Look in close-up at the silver object located at a rock to the left.
- It’s a DIGITAL CAMERA. Take it.
- Exit to the map by going right and forward. Open the gate, and turn right.
- Go to Christina’s summer house from the map.
- Walk forward, and turn left twice. Open the door (there’s no need to use the key now).
- Go left, forward, and right. Use the EXTRA KEY on the door.
- Look in close-up at the envelope to the left at the table in front of you.
- Pick up the envelope. A new map location appears, Christina’s brother’s apartment.
- Put back the envelope and exit the close-up by clicking the back arrow.
- Turn right and pick up the black notebook on the table.
- Put back the notebook.
- Turn right and open to door. Go right, forward, right, forward, right, forward, and right twice. Look at the basket in close-up.
- There is something in the basket. Pick it up.
- Take the BATTERY.
- Exit the house, and go to the map.
- Go to the mysterious white house from the map.
- Look at the door in close-up, and ring the doorbell.
- Open the door.
- Talk to the janitor.
- Right-click on the MOBILE PHONE in the inventory and click ‘Call Jonas’. A new map location appears, Oscar’s Water Library.
- Choose Oscar’s Water Library on the map, and talk to Jonas there.
- Go to the mysterious white house from the map.
- Open the door and talk to the janitor again.
- Select Oscar’s Water Library on the map, and talk to Jonas again. This opens up a new map location, the music studio.
- Go to the music studio from the map.
- Walk forward, and open the cupboard.
- Pick up the yellow notepad from the lower shelf.
- Take the MUSICAL NOTES.
- Close the cupboard and turn left.
- Look in close-up at the papers under the left speaker.
- Pick up a rectangular paper in the middle of the Echo Boomer, and flip it. Take the SONG.
- Turn left, forward, and right. Look at the door in close-up. Playing a certain series of notes will open this door. Comparing the MUSICAL NOTES with the notes on the SONG will help you understand which notes that should be played to enter the door. To the left of the right speaker (exit close-up, turn right, forward, left and look at the blue object in close-up) is a digital tuning fork which will give you guidance to how the notes sound.
- Play the notes on the door in the following order, from left to right: 3, 2, 5, 1.
- Once inside the other room, turn right.
- Combine the BATTERY with the DIGITAL CAMERA and get a CAMERA WITH BATTERY.
- Point the CAMERA WITH BATTERY to the bass drum on the drum kit, and click.
- Take the CAMERA WITH PICTURE.
- Exit the music studio.
Chapter 4
- Go to the mysterious white house from the map.
- Open the door and tell the janitor that you have the picture.
- Finish the dialogue with the janitor.
- Go forward twice, left, and open the door.
- Look at the nightstand in close-up.
- Pick up the brown and white object on the floor. It’s a luggage tag.
- Put back the luggage tag.
- Open the nightstand’s drawer.
- Pick up the note inside the drawer. This opens up a new map location, The Sylvia Hotel.
- Put back the note.
- Close the drawer and exit the close-up.
- Exit the house by going left twice, forward, right, forward twice, left, forward, left, and left. Exit to the map.
- Go to The Sylvia Hotel from the map.
- Go forward three times, right, forward, and left. Open the door.
- Take the blue CLEANING AGENT.
- Take the HOTEL KEYS lying on the towels.
- Go right twice, forward, left, and forward. Knock on the door. No one opens.
- Use the HOTEL KEYS to open the door.
- Go left, and forward twice. Turn left and look at the nightstand in close-up.
- Open the bottom drawer of the nightstand.
- Pick up the BOX FROM HOTEL.
- Exit the close-up.
- Someone is coming! Turn left twice, and exit through the window.
- Go to The Sylvia Hotel from the map.
- The HOTEL KEYS are returned automatically.
- Exit to the map.
- Select the Nylon Factory from the map, and enter the factory.
- Walk forward twice, and walk forward to enter the doorway to the right. Go forward, right, forward, and right.
- Combine the KITCHEN SPONG with the CLEANING AGENT and get a PREPARED KITCHEN SPONGE.
- Use the PREPARED KITCHEN SPONGE on the silver box-shaped thing. You are automatically zoomed to a close-up, and see the number 67.
- Exit the close-up, leave the factory, and go to the map.
- Go to Christina’s summer house from the map.
- Walk forward, and turn left twice. Open the door.
- Go left, forward, and right. Open the door using the handle.
- Look in close-up at the golden box at the table in front of you.
- The code for the box must be 6725 (the number on the machine in the factory and the number outside the room in which it is situated). Comparing these numbers with the SYMBOLS FROM THE INNER ROOM means that the buttons must be pressed in this order, from left to right: 2, 1, 4, 3.
- Press the buttons on the box in the order described above: 2, 1, 4, 3 from left to right.
- Pick up the piece of paper from inside the box.
- Put back the paper, close the box, exit the close-up, leave the house, and exit to the map.
- Go to Christina’s brother’s apartment from the map.
- Look at the door, which seems to be open.
- Open the door.
- Turn left twice, and pick up the mail from the floor.
- Put back the envelope.
- Go left, forward, and right. Move the mouse mat aside.
- Pick up the note from under the mouse mat. Christina’s brother’s garage is added to the map.
- Put back the note, and exit the close-up.
- Exit the apartment through the front door.
- Select Christina’s brother’s garage on the map.
- Open the right garage door with the handle.
- Enter the garage by walking forward through the open door. Continue to walk forward, and turn left.
- There is a CUTTING BLOWPIPE among the junk. Take it.
- Exit the area by going either left or right from outside the garage.
- Select the Nylon Factory from the map, and enter the factory.
- Walk forward twice, and walk forward to enter the doorway to the right. Walk forward, and turn left.
- Use the CUTTING BLOWPIPE on the door.
- Look through the hole in the door.
- Use the matches in the darkness.
- There is something brown on the shelf. Try to grab it.
- Use the MINIATURE CUE STICK on the brown thing on the shelf.
- Look down.
- It looks like an old wallet. Grab it.
- Take the PENCIL from the wallet.
- Look at the calling card in the wallet.
- Use the back arrow twice to get out from the ¬close-up from inside the door.
- Leave the factory, and go to the map.
- Walk forward four times, and turn left. Open the gate. Walk forward four times, and then diagonally to the left. Go forward, right, and forward four times. Look at the green stone in close-up.
- Pick up the GREEN STONE, and flip it.
- Exit the area.
- Combine the PENCIL with the BOX FROM HOTEL. The pencil fits the holes in the box. The solution is on the green stone. Stick the pencil in the holes in this order from left to right: 4, 1, 3, and 2. The Roma Theatre Ruins appears on the map.
- Go forward, right, and right. Look at the shovel to the right of the portal.
- Gerard appears. Talk to him.
- Take the SHOVEL.
- Go right, forward twice, and right. Look at the grave in close-up.
- Look at the gravestone in close-up. Carol automatically walks eight meters South East from the grave.
- Look down. Use the SHOVEL three times to dig.
- Pick up the UNOPENABLE BOX.
- Leave the area by looking up, turning left twice, going forward, left, forward, left, and exit.
- Walk forward, and open the door in front of you.
- Pick up the second AXE from the right.
- Combine the AXE with the UNOPENABLE BOX.
- Get the NEWSPAPER ARTICLE from inside the box.
- Return the AXE from where you took it.
- Exit the house. Avon appears on the map.
- Leave the area.
- Choose Home on the map.
- Go right, forward, and right twice. Pick up the SUITCASE on the floor.
- Exit to the map.
- Select Avon on the map.
- Go forward, forward, and left.
- Look at the heap of garbage in close-up.
- Somewhere in the middle of the heap of garbage is a small piece of paper. Look at it in close-up.
- Pick up the NOTE WITH NUMBERS.
- Exit the close-up, go left, forward, and left.
- Look at the code lock to the left of the door in close-up.
- Punch in the numbers from the NOTE WITH NUMBERS: 2, 6, 6, and 8.
- Open the door.
- Look at the note on the door in close-up.
- Back out of the close-up, and turn right twice. Open the door.
- Turn left, and walk forward. Look at the table to the left of the window in close-up.
- Pick up the recipe on the table.
- Put back the recipe, and exit from the close-up.
- Turn left twice. Take the PAINT CAN from the upper shelf.
- Go right, forward, left, and go diagonally forward. Turn left. Pick up the newspaper clipping and the SCREWDRIVER from the table. Put back the newspaper clipping.
- Michael Lombard appears. Talk to him.
- Combine the SCREWDRIVER with the PAINT CAN to get an OPENED PAINT CAN.
- Use the OPENED PAINT CAN in Michael Lombard’s face.
- Get out through the door behind Michael Lombard.
- You’re automatically transported to Carol’s apartment. She puts back the SUITCASE.
- Exit to the map.
- Go right, forward, left, and forward three times. Look at the sign with the sticker in close-up.
- Use the SCREWDRIVER on the four screws.
- Look at the sign with the magnifying glass.
- Use the back arrow twice to back out of the close-up.
- Go right, forward three times, left, forward, and right. Look at the grave in close-up.
- Look at the gravestone in close-up.
- Use the MEASURING TAPE on the gravestone.
- Carol walks eight yards from the grave. Look down.
- Use the SHOVEL to dig.
- Lift the two icons, and put them back.
- CONGRATULATIONS ON HAVING COMPLETED THE GAME!
