The 2.1 update for Diablo 3's Reaper of Souls expansion is a while away from release, but that doesn't mean players won't be able to experience it early.
Blizzard intends to launch the PTR (public test realm) servers for the game's 2.1 patch sometime by the end of the month, community manager Grimiku has confirmed. He wrote in a thread about the game's Barbarian class: "I'd like to encourage all of you to keep this thread going. I've been on a mini-vacation, but I'm back now, and interested in seeing how this conversation evolves over the coming weeks. We're still intending to release the patch 2.1 PTR by the end of the month, and that should create some interesting shifts in discussion."
For the sake of keeping the discussion alive, he ended his post by asking players what their top four suggestions for improving the Barbarian class areIn any case, if you're looking forward to 2.1 (and why wouldn't you be?) you should check out the impending changes that are set to grace the update, whenever it comes out.
Completing a Greater Rift within its alloted time will allow players to progress to the next level (and if your time is exceptionally good, you may even skip multiple levels at once). Players can continue progressing through Greater Rift levels so along as they complete the Rift before its timer expires. Once a timer expires, players will reach the end of their current Greater Rift journey and their best results will be tracked in our new Leaderboard system.
New Feature: Leaderboards
With the addition of Seasons and Greater Rifts, we want to provide players with a way to measure their progress within each of those environments. To do so, we've created Leaderboards.
