Recently, there is a good news in wow area. The WoW Tokens had been released several days ago. At present, only American players can use the WoW Tokens. Don’t be so upset, the tokens will be released in other countries. The reasons why all the wow game players desire to get the tokens is that the tokens could exchange the gold and game time. They want to Buy WoW Items with these gold.
Word that Blizzard was considering a tokens-for-time option for World of Warcraft first came to light late last year, when Community Manager Micah "Bashiok" Whipple revealed that the studio was looking at ways to make life more convenient for its players. Today it confirmed that the system is on the way in the form of WoW Tokens, a new in-game item that players can buy and sell for challenge mode gold or real money, and then exchange for 30 days of World of Warcraft game time.
WoW Tokens will be purchasable through the World of Warcraft in-game shop, and can be sold on a 'Token exchange' in the Auction House. The value in gold will be "determined dynamically based on supply and demand," and there will be no negotiating prices: Token values are quoted when they're put up for sale and locked in once the sale is committed. The same system applies for Token purchases made through the shop.
Blizzard said the system will give wealthy players something to do with the fortunes they've amassed, but more importantly it will enable players to acquire gold without having to go through third-party gold sellers, which it said are "one of the primary sources of account compromises."
Tokens sold at the auction house are automatically given a gold-based price "determined dynamically based on supply and demand," Blizzard says, though the initial in-game price will be set by Blizzard itself. Once bought from the auction house, tokens can't be traded or resold, which should limit any speculative market of players hoping to make some quick wow gold from game time arbitrage. Players wanting a quick infusion of gold, though, will be able to purchase a token for real money and immediately sell it, avoiding the usual in-game grind.
There will be no bidding involved in token purchases, despite the "auction house" name, and Blizzard says it won't take a cut of the gold earned from auction house WoW token sales. Blizzard first discussed tentative plans for a WoW gold-for-game-time market back in December and officially confirmed the feature was coming earlier this month. The company says it has two main goals for the new feature: to provide a way for dedicated players sitting on heaps of challenge conqueror gold to defray their subscription costs and to give newer players an official, secure way to buy gold without resorting to third-party gold farmers who often exploit the game through hacks or stolen accounts.
