Sleeping Dogs Vendor Extortion Guide

Mission Start
The Vendor Extortion Mission in sleeping dogs will start directly after some of the combat tutorial. Your mission will be to walk around to different vendors and make sure they know that Winston controls the Night Market. There are also some cool pick ups and tutorials on how to buy clothes and what it means for your stats.

The first mission objective is to walk over to a vendor. Walk your way through the crowd towards the marker. Forgive me wondering around a little bit in the video it was in the intro of the game. the Dragon Kick drink in sleeping dogs will give you a powered up strike so it is a good idea to grab one every once in a while and there is one on the way to the first vendor. Talk to the electronics vendor and he will gladly hand over some money.

Head over to the watch vendor after the electronics vendor. There is some ice cream on the way that is good to pick up for health regeneration. The watch collector won’t pay you until you show him you are tough. Grab his thug and shove him into the phone booth behind the shop. The watch vendor will happily hand over the watch after that.

Head over to the produce vendor and talk to him. This vendor has a few thugs to help him. Take out the thugs with counters and strikes. After you take them out the produce vendor will change his tune. Collect the money and head over to the next vendor the butcher.

Protecting The Butcher
Someone will be messing with the butcher when you get over to his stall. Doggeye’s men will be beating him to convince him to pay them instead of you. Take out the thugs to show the butcher that you will be protecting him from now on. After taking out all of the thugs the butcher will pay nicely for protection.
