Crafting items in Watch Dogs will give you a huge benefit against your enemies. From explosives to blackouts find out how you can gain the edge in Watch Dogs with this crafting guide. Check it out!

Item Crafting

Watch Dogs Blackout

Once you unlock the Tobias shop you can buy most of these crafted items there. System keys cannot be bought you have to hack them off objects and people and they can only be used once. If you need any crafting materials you can buy them at the pawn shops scattered around the city.

Crafting items in Watch Dogs is extremely easy if you have the right parts. Just open your weapon wheel and scroll over what item you want to make. If you have the components you can make it.

Lure – Like the name suggests this is a lure. Toss it near an enemy and use it to distract nearby enemies. Takes one electronic part.

Frag Grenade – A basic grenade that you can toss and it will blow up after a few seconds. Takes on unstable chemical component to craft. You need to spend a skill point to unlock this item.

Focus Boost – When you run out of focus use the to recharge it. Takes one pill to make and has to be learned as a skill.

Jam Comms – This is extremely useful for escaping the police or anyone else trying to find you. This takes a system key and an electronic part and you need to unlock the skill.

ctOS Scan – This will tag any non-player enemies in your area. You need to unlock this skill and it takes on system key and one electronic part.

IED – These are explosives you can throw and trigger to blow when you want, great for ambushes. This is a skill and you need an electronic part and a chemical component to craft it.

Proximity IED – Same as the normal IED but this one blows up when someone goes near it, including you. You need to learn the skill and it takes a chemical component and an electronic part.

Blackout – One of the cooler items in the game and it takes a skill to craft. If you use this the city will go dark and your enemies will be confused briefly. Takes two system keys and one electronic part to create.

While the blackout is cool personally the IED takes the cake for me. Which item from Watch Dogs do you enjoy using the most? Leave a comment below and let us know!
