Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – Perks Guide

Just like the other entries in the CoD series, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has perks available to help players maximize their multiplayer experience. There are three different categories of perks to choose from, and with wild cards, players can use up to 6. Need to know which perks are going to be best for your gameplay style? Check out our complete list of perks below!

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Category #1

Danger Close

This perk will let you do more damage from explosives and your scorestreak.

Flak Jacket

This perk allows you to take less explosive damage. You'll also be able to reset the fuse when throwing grenades back, and you can cancel frag cooks by switching weapons.

Lightweight

This perk will make you move faster. It will make you not only run/walk faster, but also climb faster. This is great for anyone – whether you are rushing into close-quarters combat or trying to get away from the enemy. Just remember that this perk can only do so much – you certainly aren't going to notice superhuman speeds here.

Low Profile

With this perk, you'll be invisible to UAVs, Exo-Pings, and tracking rounds. This is a very useful perk to use if you don't want your enemy to be able to find your position.

Overcharged

This perk will increase your Exo-Ability battery life. You will also be able to concuss any nearby enemies using Boost Slam. This is very useful for players who want to use their Exo-Abilities more often, since the battery life won't recharge on its own. The ability to stun enemies upon landing is also a nice bonus.

Category #2

Blind Eye

This perk lets you remain invisible to tracking drones, scorestreaks (except UAV), and explosive drones. This is especially great for someone playing a support role. Remember that just because you can't be seen by one of these drones, you can still be hurt if you are in the radius, so be aware of your surroundings.

Cold-Blooded

This perk will make you immune to thermal, threat grenade, enemy call-out, and target enhancer. If you are targeted, no name or reticle color change will be displayed.

Fast Hands

This perk lets you reload while sprinting. You'll also be able to swap weapons, use the Exo-Launcher, and use Exo-Abilities faster. This can be incredibly useful if you swap weapons often and always reload after each kill.

Gun-Ho

Using this perk allows you to fire your weapon while sprinting and Boost Sliding. This can be really useful in a pinch, although it takes some practice.

Peripherals

This perk will make your mini-map display more. You'll be able to see enemies farther away. It will also hide the location of killed enemies, allowing you to remain in stealth! This is great for defensive players.

Category #3

Blast Suppressor

This perk will allow you to become invisible on the mini-map when using an Exo-Movement. Players who like to use stealth should consider using this perk.

Hard Wired

This perk makes you immune to scramblers, nano swarms, stun grenades, EMP, and system hacks.

Hardline

This perk decreases the cost of a scorestreak by 100. If you like to use these hard-hitting abilities often, try using this perk to reach your scorestreak faster.

Scavenger

This perk will let you begin a game with extra magazines, and you'll be able to find ammo from dead enemies. If you are always reloading and going through a lot of ammo, this is a perk you must have.

Toughness

This perk will make you flinch less when you get shot. This can be especially useful if you are trying to play a medium or long-ranged class.
