The ability to build, manage and protect your own Settlement is one of Fallout 4′s greatest features but some of the materials can be hard to come by. This Fallout 4 Guide – Where To Find Infinite Amounts Of Copper For Your Settlement targets one particular material that can be a struggle to find, Copper.
Copper is one of the more commonly used materials when building your Settlement, especially when it come to electrics and the more important items that serve as a purpose outside of just being visually pleasing. Remember, when you first reach a new Settlement be sure to scrap everything in the area even if you don’t plan to build there, this can be a solid source of all materials as you progress.
Copper itself can be a little more difficult to find. Obviously keep your eye out for items with the word “Copper” in the actual listing, such as Copper Pots, as these are a no-brainer for a source of Copper.
A lot of stores in the game also sell items that you can scrap into Copper. Make sure when browsing a store you keep your eye out for the scrap materials in the middle of both windows, this tells you what the item can be scrapped into. You may notice a small magnifying glass icon next to certain items, these are items that include rare materials and always lists Copper. So if you want to browse through stores quickly, just be sure to check the items with that icon.
You can buy Shipments of Copper from Arturo in the Diamond City Marketplace, they don’t come cheap though.
