Mortal Kombat Walkthrough Chapter 13 - Kabal

Chapter 13 - Kabal

The scene fades to black and we see someone, Kano, helping Kabal. He has assembled a mask on Kabal's face and apparently tended to his wounds as well. Kabal recognizes Kano from his voice. We learn that Kabal used to be a part of the Black Dragons, Kano's organization. It was because of this that Kano took him to Shang Tsung to get healed up. We learn that his lungs are a lost cause so he must wear his mask or else he cannot breath. Kabal accuses Kano of selling them their Firepower and Kano in no way denies it. He offers Kabal his old weapons.

Kabal is something different. He is about fast movement and moderate distance. He has a fair number of ranged attacks that are easy to use. Most of his attacks are based on double toward, down back and one away toward.

Kano is your first opponent. This is an easier fight than before, mostly letting you get your bearings with this character. It is harder to land some of the attacks.

After this bout Kabal demands out. Kano tells him that no one leaves Outworld without Shao Kahn's blessing. Kabal is understandably confused about where he is. The scene changes with them bearing in Montaro on a litter, having fallen in battle to take earth. Shao Kahn tells Shang Tsung that he requires something from him. He then rips the soul and body from him and puts it all into Sindel, reinvigorating her even more. Kabal pulls some last bits of information from Kano then knocks him out. Kabal approaches Shao Kahn but Noob intercepts him with the help of Mileena.

The first dual battle in a little while, this is an interesting combo. Mileena is more about movement and getting in closer. Noon is slightly more ranged with his teleport grapples and some ranged assault.

After the battle he manages to just escape. He is impressed by the increased speed that allowed him to escape. Once he returns to earth he finds a final foe waiting for him, a Cyber Sub-Zero.

This version of Sub-Zero has a number of  different attacks in addition to what he normally has. The newest addition is a modification on his Ice Clone technique where he simply coats himself in Ice. While he is coated in ice, most melee attacks will get you frozen, including throws.

Winning unlocks Cyber Sub-Zero.

Just after, Sheeva shows, wondering why Kabal just beat up his "Brother". Kabal tells her that he isn't, he is human and that thing was a robot. After that, time to fight her.

Smoke and Raiden arrive after the fight. Kabal recognizes him. Raiden explains that Stryker joined them to defend earth from Shao Kahn. Kabal sympathizes with Smoke, having his friend turned into a Cyborg. We see Kabal and Smoke.
