Dead Island Walkthrough Part 1: Prologue- Rise and Shine - Chaos Overture Quest

After the cutscene and choosing your character, you wake up in the hotel room. Search your room for any items before opening the door and leaving (There is a medkit in the bathroom).

Your goal is now to find the emergency stairs. The marker on the radar in the bottom right corner will tell you where to go. Though make sure to explore all the area on your own, you will find lots of items and money stashed in cabinets, suitcases, etc.

Follow the hallway to the North. It will be blocked by some suitcases. so enter the room on the side and break the door to go around them. head for the balcony to see an interesting cutscene.

When you reach the emergency stairs, you will find the door to be locked. Your new goal will be to find the elevator lobby. Go back to the balcony and head towards the elevator shaft. Open the lift hatch and get inside the elevator.

After the Cutscene you will here a voice telling you to search the maintenance storage room for a weapon. Exit the elevator by crouching (hold CTRL on the PC) and follow the radar. You will run into the infected and the voice will urge you to make a run for the storage room. Follow his instructions. After the cutscene, you will wake up in a room with other survivors. This complete the quest Chaos Overture.
