Kid Icarus Uprising Walkthrough Part 7: Dark Pit Part 1

You will begin this level and immediately start fighting against Dark Pit. Fire at him as he weaves through the sky and talks trash about you. Watch out for the twisters and Dark Pit’s occasional counter strike. Largely, though, he won’t really fight back much at this point. When you near the ground, watch out for the two enemies who will rush you at the bottom of the screen. FAfter this point, you will have to shoot both Dark Pit and several enemies. When you see groups of four eyeball enemies shielded by a pink orb, shoot the orb repeatedly to break it and then shoot them down to kill them before they rain arrows down on you.

As you fight through the rest of the level, Palutena and Medusa will chatter and swarms of enemies will come up from the various sides of the screen. When you find yourself hovering above the plains, a large enemy will come out and initiate another arrow rain attack. Dodge it and take him down, and then stick towards the bottom of the screen to avoid the next wave of enemies. You will now find yourself flying around a cliffside, shooting enemies as they appear. Blast them out of the sky and you will soon hover up in the air. Collect the five health orbs and soar down towards the ground. As you do, a column of spiked enemies will form in front of you. Take them out quickly and/or attempt to move to the sides of the screen, as they will blast you with a solid column of lasers soon if you don’t either dodge it or kill them before they can attack.

One of the long dragon enemies will fly out at you next, and another arrow rain attack will initiate. Stick towards the middle of the screen to collect a new item and watch out for the enemy’s attacks. You will begin to hover around over a dark canyon with strange enemies growing out of its sides, like some sort of weird plant growths. Blast them in their stems to quickly sever them from the canyon walls and blow them up before they can fire back at you. You will then begin to soar upwards into the sky again. Blast the next small wave of enemies as Pit and Palutena continue their little back and forth.

Another of the shielded enemy groups will soon appear. Blast the shield as much as you can to shatter it before it leaves the screen. You will end up swooping closer to the ground again, and you will be treated to a close-up view of one of the strange stalk-like enemies that you were shooting off of the canyon walls. This one will be a little more dangerous, though, as its laser stream will be more consistent. Pit will take cover. When he gets out, fire on the stalk. A second stalk will be to the left of the second piece of cover. This will take you soaring over the ruins in the valley below. Kill off one last, small wave of flying enemies and you will be forced to the ground by Pit’s time limit on flying. Just in time, too. Dark Pit will be hiding in the ruins below.
